Hanzo had just gotten back to his family home from his normal day of training, his body slightly sore from the work out he does everyday to keep his body in shape. Hanzo took his boots off at the door and hung his leather jacket up as he walked up his stairs, yelling to his mother that he is home even though he figured she would not be here and be at the shop working. Hanzo got into his room and got ready to take a shower to rub the sweat off his body.
After the shower was done and taken care of, he moved his fire red hair out of his face and sat himself at his desk. He turned his lamp on, and pulled a book out of his drawer. A Large Leather-bound book with "B.I.N.G.O. Productions" written on it. No Authors are listed within the book. The Botany Studies is a multi-volume of books pertaining to the study of Plants and what these Plants can do. Each Volume discusses the plants found in a specific Region. Even though Hanzo worked for the organization he could only get his hands on the River part of this multiple volume set. Sadly, Hanzo was going to have to deal with that for now.
Hanzo opened the book to the first page, and started from the very beginning. Aconite, also known as monkshood this autumn season plant grows as erect green stems covered by glossy dark green leaves with white undersides, and clusters of dark blue to purple flowers shaped like a monk's hood hence the alternative name. Apparently they were found in every region of the world except for the arctic regions of the world.
Aconite is mildly poisonous to the touch, mostly only breaking out in a rash, but when it is injected or infused into food it’s lethality increases several times over leading to nausea and vomiting. This doesn’t stop people from cultivating it, as it apparently used in both potions of invisibility and to keep away Lycanthropes. People often eat either the dried or fresh leaf of this plant in order to gain some advantage against the curse of the Lycanthropes, but most simply drink it in a syrup form in order to hide the taste.
