Fast Item Creation - Alchemy
Rank: "C"
Skill: Supplementary
Effect: User has optimized their crafting techniques to save time.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: User increases the rate of Crafting with Alchemy by +10. This technique can be taken multiple times and stacks with itself. Each time it is learned, the user adds +10 to Crafting Alchemical Items.
Limit: Must be an Alchemist. Must know Alchemy (45 Points). Must know Craftsman.

Was in the lab, still makeshift, but suitable. Gathered many ingredients earlier, time to experiment, push my ability to create. Took up herb, had them dried earlier, placed them within stone bowl. Mortar and pestle, new creation required grinding. Lengthy process, needed to speed it up. Began to grind up leaves, pressure shifted as went, seeking optimal level for rapid grinding. Too much no good, would cause increased friction, slower movement. Too little also flawed, would allow faster movement, grinding process slower. Both lead to increased preparation time. My pressure experimentation continued for a bit, slowed the process down but I found the level of pressure I was seeking. Was time to move onto the next step. Beetle eyes. Had to be dried standard method, dry outside. Preparation time, full day. Secondary method, use smoker, slow cook at low heat until dried out. Preparation time, eight hours.
Needed tertiary method. Did not have time for either, other ingredients had all met optimal conditions. Oven could work. Had spare eyes, had to experiment with temperature and time for proper results. Allowed oven to preheat, results not optimal if temperature had to build. Began basics of preparation for other ingredients while waiting, would not do to remain idle. Did not have to stall long. Set temperature to three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit and place hand full of the eyes on a tray. Placed in oven and waited. Five minutes was attempted and at that point removed tray. All eyes dried out. Perhaps too spread out. Place another handful in small metal container and placed in over for five minutes. Withdrew it after the time and examined contents. exterior eyes seemed fairly well cooked, but beneath some dried. Some untouched by heat. Perhaps increased time. Frequent stirring. Emptied container and refilled. Set in for ten minutes. Stirred every ninety seconds.
Attempt went well, required fine tuning but could be done later. Had enough for current concoction. Bunsen burner set up. Time to cook. Set up beaker filled thirty three percent with distilled water. Had to stir during, but had created something earlier, speed the process. This stirring device meant to provide gentle stirring motion while ingredients were added. Time saved minimal in overall creation, but allowed me to perform other duties while potion brewed. Each ingredient added in turn as the machine stirred the liquid. Time provided by the self-stirring invaluable. Used it to prepare other items, quick preparations that could be done. Crushing plant stems for sap. Dicing larvae for fresh addition while Morticia slept. Truly an optimization for the brewing process of potions.
