The Yūdaina Hotel
I was beginning to think that my sister and myself had differences in taste. When I had asked her for some time off and a small vacation I assumed I was going to be put up in one of the expensive hotels in the rich part of town. I envisioned a skyscraper, a modern and sleek building, and yet here I am at a traditional style hotel that looks more like a shrine than the tall building I had hoped for. At the least I suppose I should thank her, though the look I got from her when I had asked to go to a hotel was awkward. She must still have some sense of humor in that rigid body of hers somewhere. I trail behind myself a black suitcase, not overly large. I had only managed to convince her to allow me to stay two nights here before I had to return to work which was better than nothing but not much of a vacation. Passing beneath the huge gate at the front of the hotel I see an attendant dressed in all black with the insignia of the Uchiha clan on a small patch at the upper left chest of her dress. She greeted me as the Tsuchikage and bowed before offering to take my items. I gave the case up and followed her inside as she lead me to the check in area.
If one where to see me here they would think me out of place. Whilst most people here were wearing yukata and kimonoes I wore a pair of blue jeans, a black t-shirt, and a red coat with white sleeves. A simple baseball cap on my head, a pair of matching sneakers. People wouldn't even think of me as coming from money, let alone being the Tsuchikage. The girl acting as my attendant heads to sign in my arrival and I notice a waiting room. I had walkedmost of the way here, attended to by my ANBU who were keeping out of sight for now so I could enjoy my small retreat, so my legs were pretty tired. I head over and sit down in a lounge chair so I can put my feet up for a little bit. Spying a magazine my hand lurches for it and I begin to bemusingly read. I'm not really paying much mind to the words in front of me, it's just passing the time idly for a moment. This time off was veru much needed.
