Ahhh… Finally, peace and quiet…
Wolfe had been looking for some down time since his return to the village, but it seemed his father and uncle were going to have none of that nonsense. Within the 2 weeks of his return he had already been forced into 2 missions and learned 2 new lightning jutsus and take a week-long trip up to the artic region to work on his botany. Wolfe needed a little down time and he was going to get it one way or another. Unfortunately he had learned the hard way that he couldn’t chill and relax at the house as every time someone would find him and instantly start him on some mission or training.
So…
Wolfe had snuck out before the crack of dawn and found a nice secluded area near the outskirts of the village. The area was nothing shy of perfect and the scenery was calming and refreshing to say the least. Wolfe had found a small lake attached to a stream that headed inward towards the center of the village, but here at the lake the water was fresh from the waterfall that poured fresh water into the lake. The waterfall was only about 5 meters high or so and due to the rocks it was split into one larger, and a few smaller falls. It wasn’t crazy or anything, but it was enough to cause a constant sound of cascading water that if someone was to just sit and listen, seemed to wash over you and help clean your soul nice and fresh. The cascading water also created a fine mist around the area that gave it a nice cool feeling. Rock faces covered some of the area around the tiny lake and the forest grew all around it, giving it a secluded feeling, and the trees granted some shade as well as finished the perfect calming scene. If Wolfe was an artist, this would be his perfect work of art come to life.
Wolfe had only arrived about an hour ago, and he found a nice place just off from the waterfall, next to a few rocks. He was brought a few of his scrolls with notes he had taken from his trip to the artic. He placed the scrolls on the rocks and was lying on his back on top of the water as he used his chakra to just lay on the surface of the water. He had activated his Ryuugan and was just kind of glancing at the waterfall and all the mist it created. Mixed with the nice breeze it was amazing to watch it all with his eyes activated. The truth was he felt that in all the training, missions, and combat that one of the best things about the Ryuugan was the ability to just take moments like this and enjoy them, but these moments were lost to the hustle of everyday life as a ninja. However, Wolfe would be damned if he didn’t get in a little time to chill and enjoy doing nothing at all.
