Today. Today I was feeling just a little bit pissed off. Not only at those who wronged me, but also a little bit at myself. During the chaos that was the riots of the Godric supporters I didn't notice but secret training scrolls I had taken with me to the Tsuchikage's Tower depicting secret Uchiha clan techniques were stolen right out from underneath me. And I didn't even notice it until recently. How much of a failure can I be? Enough with this. Self pity will get me nowhere. I just moments ago sent my ANBU to spread word of a special mission in need of volunteers to my shinobi. A mission I would accompany them upon. I took with me only my clothes and hat, this mission didn't require my equipment. I wore a black t-shirt under a red vest, jeans, red and white sneakers, and my favourite red hat with the white brim. My pitch black eyes scanned the area, looking for my shinobi as I silently stood and thought to myself:

'If I can't retrieve these documents, then I am undeserving of my title.'

Description:
Exploiting a hole in security caused by the riots in recent times some local gang members have managed to make off with some of the Tsuchikage's personal jutsu scrolls. Knowledge of ninjutsu in the hands of common criminals is serious business and cannot be tollerated. As this is a metter of such importance the Tsuchikage has decided to investigate this matter personally and is assembling a team of shinobi to aid him in his investigation. The only clue being the statement of a witness reporting that they had seen a group of men heading to the south side of town in a hurry. That's 'Moth' territory.

The entrance that Zeki made as he entered the designated rendezvous area was quite tame, simply walking up to the meeting area at a leisurely pace. However anyone that looked closely at him saw that Zeki was carefully examining the area in front of him before moving forward as if he was expecting to be ambushed. The form that the Sadojin took was the one he was most familiar with; a tall, lanky youth with soft facial features, sandy blond hair, and in loose fitting pants and hoodie that are both tan in color. The only notable exceptions to his usual attire is the goggles he is wearing, which houses a multitude of lenses, and a gourd filled with sand on his back. The gourd was actually part of his sand body, just shaped in that form to allow him to store more sand without freaking out civilians for suddenly growing a couple of feet in height.

Once standing before his kage, the stone shinobi would speak in a somber tone, "Genin Zeki reporting for duty. I was alerted to a urgent mission that you needed help with and came as soon as possible after gathering my gear. I am ready to proceed at any time, my kage."

Suna Sensu: Suna Kyuuchaku (Sand Style: Sand Absorbtion)

Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user the knowledge to absorb extra sand to their body.
Special: ---
Drawback: If the user does not have enough sand within them, they will form without limbs and look deformed.
Description: The user focuses chakra into a sand source whether from soil conversation or from a gourd, and begins to add that sand to their own bodily sand to increase their body mass. This is useful for storing sand within to be used for other sand techniques if the user so wishes, however with this, the body's size also increases as well.

Shenjie had heard about a pending delima while he had been strolling around town. He donned a bleached Judogi with a light navy blue Hakama that spoke to his station as well as hid his feet. His Navy Blue shinobi headband was wrapped around his useless eye sockets, identifying him as a stone shinobi. He didn’t really carry any other gear with him…as if he would ever use it. He wasn’t one to use ninja tools often after all. Following the scent of the sandy fellow who had been coming towards the meeting point of the mission he had been assigned, Shenjie felt a bit awkward showing up when he had not been invited partake in the mission. Regardless of that, Shenjie went.

It was when he got a bit closer that he recognized the scent of the Tsuchikage and that of the sand man. “I hear you’re in need of some assistance, I could offer you some help.” Shenjie stated casually as he kept a good posture when he spoke. He was clearly much calmer than he use to be.

Heightened Smell

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: By having a heightened sense of smell the user concentrates on the chakra along their nostrils of their nose to heighten their sense of smell. With a heightened sense of smell the user gains the ability to track and understand different senses of smells.
Special: ---
Drawback: When activated the sense of smell grows exponentially. This means that certain smells could render the user helpless.
Description: Even though this is considered to be a "B" Rank, it takes up little chakra, it is quite difficult to make the chakra along the body to suddenly grasp the nostrils to heighten the sense of smell. When activated the small amounts of chakra grasps against the very folicles along the nose as the sensitivity is quickly heightened to beyond that of a normal human. The brain receptors gather the knowledge of the smell and changes it, manipulates the smell to where the brain "sees" the smell in a vapor like sense. A user can "see" these vapors to follow those who they wish to follow, since a member would be blind the user picks up the vapor as the mind's eye would techniqually see the actual vapors that comes forth. Each vapor has a different style of vision. With this sometimes multiple senses of smells may confuse a user to where the smells mix with one another to where a user might not be able to follow, especially when they mix together creating the vision of the vapors disoriented.

Smell Decoder

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: When a user is suddenly surounded by multiples of smell, the user is capable of decoding all the smells so then the user can figure out which smell they wish to find so then a user is capable of following or pursuing who they wish.
Special: ---
Drawback: The more the smells that exist within a certain area the longer it takes for the user to decifer which sent of smell they wish to find.
Description: Every human being, every animal has a certain sense of smell within them that they emit outwards. Within the mind's eye where there are multiple types of smells the mind feels somewhat jumbled up. When first llearned a user can take an amount of 3 smells at a time and deciefer each sent of smell to figure out where each sent runs off to. To decifier the smells and it taking the time to do so takes up a round amount of time. Each time learned the user is capable of pinpointing another type of smell to where the user is capable of deciefering another smell. Every three sents of smells, it takes a number of another round. This means that six scents takes up a length of two rounds.
Limit: Shitakuma Technique.

Tremor Sense X10

Effect: By pouring their chakra into the ground, by using th earth release the user is capable of sensing or seeing in a sense what is along the ground, in the ground, identifying what is around them.
Special: ---
Drawback: Someone needs to touch the ground in order for the person to see. This means that even the user can see by stepping. This also means that the user must be touching the ground at all times. This technique does not work on water, sand, or metal or ice. The ground is to loose for the user to see the vibrations along the ground, or is to concentrated which creates less vibrations.
Description: When first learned the user is capable of seeing in a radius of five meters. After each time learned it increases by ten meters. When ever the user steps, or when another steps in the radius of tremor sense, the mind of the user picks up the vibrations along the feet creating a somewhat of a picture of the user. Since people have water constricted within their own bodies as well as metalic components of the body a user could see the movements of the body in blur like motion, where they can guess if an attack is coming towards them. This is the beginning stage of the tremor sense technique and is the foundation of the tremor sense techniques. When learned their is a thirty percent chance that the user is capable of defending against melee attacks within arms reach. This however does not mean that after each attack someone comes forth to role a die. It just means that the chances of trying to stop melee attacks is not as well or as concentrated as one would wish it to be.
Limit: Anyone can learn, but it takes an extreme amount of chakra unless they master earth techniques or is part of the Shitakuma clan. Can only be learned if learning the blind way of life.

Tremor Sense Advanced X5

Effect: By pouring their chakra into the ground, by using th earth release the user is capable of sensing or seeing in a sense what is along the ground, in the ground, identifying what is around them.

Mtal is to constricted and the vibrations is weaker so this is why this is needed. Now this does not mean that the user can see with the distance as Tremor Sense and Tremor Sense Advance for Metal, only Expertise gets to allow the user see with Metal vibrations.

Theft

Two shinobi familiar to me approached with intent to help find the thieves who had taken my clan's jutsu scrolls. These two should be sufficient. "Very well.
You two will do nicely." I unfold my arms and walk nearer to them, ushering for them to come closer. I need to keep this whole thing under wraps, this is imperative. "Okay listen closely. What you hear today is top secret, you cannot go around telling people of this. It's all off the record, understand?" I waited for both of the shinobi before me to nod in agreement before continuing to explain the mission else I wouldn't continue. "During the riots at the village gates several scrolls pertaining to the Uchiha clan's jutsu were stolen from the Tsuchikage Tower. An unknown party infiltrated the Tower during the chaos and it has only just now been discovered that they had done so. We have no idea who has stolen these scrolls, we have no idea why they stole the scrolls, we have only one lead. A citizen has reported that on that day they had seen a man heading toward the south side of town with scrolls in arm. They couldn't provide a description, even with memory boosting jutsu. That's the situation we're in."

This whole ordeal was an embarrassment to my name and the agitation showed on my face. At least I could trust these two, they hadn't done me wrong in the past. THis whole thing could be kept hush hush. I'm never going to hear the end of it from my family though. "This little to go on, next to nothing, but there is one possibility that I wish to explore. In the turmoil of the village one gang has come to prominance that may have the ability to make use of these scrolls. They call themselves 'The Moths' and potentially have former, rogue shinobi within their ranks however this hasn't been confirmed. With nothing else to go on I believe we should start our recovery efforts here, any objections or questions?"

Zeki watched as the blindfolded ninja came walking toward the two others, informing them that he also had come to help. The Sadojin briefly thought about showing a sign of greeting to the other ninja then dismissing the idea from the apparent blindness of the newcomer. So all he did was wait for his Kage to tell them about the mission that they had been given and the information was soon delivered.

The parameters of the mission was not to Zeki's liking that was for sure. There was far too much vagueness in it along with so little intel, and while he was not too fearful about being confronted by the rogue shinobi whom decided to sell their services to a mere gang it was the fact that there was no concrete evidence on them that actually made it complicated. Were they former stone shinobi whom records we had access to? Were they another village's rogue shinobi whom they had info on? Or were they simply some backwater, self trained shinobi that should not be much of a problem? Were they even there in the first place? Too many what ifs and maybes for the Sadojin to not feel like they were going in mostly blind.

However a shinobi had to always be prepared for the unexpected on any mission he went on, and always be prepared for a fight no matter how tame the mission seemed. A vague warning about what might happen was better then a false assurance that nothing would go wrong, and Zeki didn't see anything in the information given that he could ask about that the village would actually know. So the Sadojin signaled to his Kage that he had no questions to ask nor objections to the mission itself.
