It was morning, the sun had just barely arisen and the morning dew was fresh. The boy stood and patted his little sisters heads before getting dressed in the clothes he wore to his parent's funeral. He put on the porcelain owl mask, a dark black suit with a violet tie, his white gloves, and black dress shoes freshly polished himself. The clean and sharply dressed boy headed out of the Village and toward the seas where his mission took place.
The boy took a sigh as he explored the environment and forestry, the bustling life that came from it. He took note of which sounds were heard, specifically insects and birds as mammalian sounds were uncommon unless provoked. The morning was quiet for the most part, cricket chirps were dying down and the birds hadn't awoken yet, at worst the sound of the wind was what was heard. For a ninja, it's not exactly comforting, but as his presence wasn't accompanied by anything and he was fairly young he wasn't fearful of the silence, he actually enjoyed it.
As he approached the sea line, he took note of the number of ships, it seemed he needed to find some way of getting there... problem number one.. transporting the goods without getting them wet. Swimming was out of the question, the goods were in a crate, nothing he'd care to try holding above his head. Getting the goods wet was a priority as the mission had described to him that there were scrolls inside, certainly an interesting thing. The scrolls were most likely light, the weapons... not as much of a problem though returning them dry is preferable in his opinion, wouldn't want to be the one to cause the Feudal Lord's weapons to rust and perhaps cause the diseases caused by rust to flow through the palace.... far too many problems from rust in a treasury. Lastly the gadgets... once again, probably best they return dry...
Swimming to the ship isn't a problem, if he wanted to carry them back, he would have to dry himself off before putting them in his cloak... or perhaps just carry the items back in the cloak like a burlap sack? Nope, the secondary weapons would likely poke holes in the scrolls, also unwanted.
He thought about this on his way toward the closest spot he could start swimming toward the ships, it appeared there was no rowboat he could take, and if there were docks then the ships would have transported the goods themselves. The boy shook his head in irritation before taking a deep breath, it seemed he'd need to swim toward the ship and climb to board it. He sighed and cracked his neck before wrapping his cloak around him and going for a swim.
