Objective: Hunt the Master Pumpkin
Description: A rural town in the Land of Water has had it's fields plagued by some mystical force. Their pumpkin fields have became possessed transforming the pumpkins into living figures. These pumpkins are seemingly bound to the field and must simply be exterminated.
Reward: 20,000 ryo
Shinku and Huizuki both stood outside of the town for whoever else was to join them for this mission. Shinku wore her sleeveless red combat dress and pink skirt. Her sister still had her lime green jacket and shorts. Both twins had their hair up in a high ponytail held by a black bow. They had comed armed with only their bodies and nothing else feeling as this would be enough on their own.
Shinku stood with her arms crossed looking out into the distance. She was curious about how much they were getting with this mission considering it was open distress call if anything. She peered over to her sister was doing simple stretches. They had only just got here themselves. "Ease up sis." Huizuki said walking over to lay a hand on her sisters shoulder. Shinku sighed and turned to give a smile. "I'm not worried, I just want to help the people already. They suffered long enough with this problem as it is." Huizuki simply patter her on the back. "They have the best meister and weapon pair of the Mist working for them." She said confidently flashing the headband around her right arm. Shinku grabbed the headband around her neck with a firm grip feeling slightly more encouraged. "Damn straight Zuki." With a highfive the two laughed looking out to the road before them together. Their spirits as high as ever.

Description: Those that carry the cursed blood of the gorgons may only die as shattered stone. The moment a user with this trait is hit by an attack that would kill them or reduce them to a dying condition, they will instead be petrified. Only the user and their flesh is petrified. The user will be frozen in the moment right before their death, and they can be saved if they are healed after being cured of the petrified condition. This petrified condition cannot be reversed on the same day that the user becomes petrified by the trait. The user remains in a vulnerable statue the day they are on the receiving end of a death blow. The duration of poisons and other ingested effects will be paused upon being petrified, and will resume if the petrified condition is cured. This trait replaces 2 Freebies.

Description: Some human bloodlines trace their linage back to a grendle, an offspring born of troll and human parentage. Living humans with this racial trait are immune to bleeding out. If they are also "C" Class they heal Minor damage per 15 rounds. If they "A" Class and they lose a limb, an organ, or any other body part, once per day the user's severed body members (fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms, legs, tails, broken bones, and ruined organs grow back. The physical regeneration is complete in 1 round if the severed members are present and touching the creature. It takes 15 rounds otherwise. Regenerate also heals Serious Damage within 15 rounds, and rids the subject of exhaustion and/or fatigue. It has no effect on nonliving creatures (including undead). This trait replaces 2 Freebies.

Description: The user is able to almost link minds with others who share this technique. All knowledge is shared at some level. This translates into a +1 bonus per member of the hive-mind to each skill that the user and another member share. E.g. 2 others in the hive mind have Rope Use and the user has Use Chakra Device. The user gains +2 to Rope Use and they gain +1 to Use Chakra Device. Any mental attacks on one have a 1 in 20 chance of affecting anyone else in the hive. This is rolled separately for each member. User may learn Hive Mind Technique tree.

Demon Weapon Gene

Effect: A specialized ritual that harnesses the weaponized and absorption aspect of the Protean Blood Limit.
Special: To perform: 6 hours; Duration: Permanent
Drawback: Demon Weapon Gene impose a -1 penalty to Will Saves and -5 to Skill Category 3 Skills because being a Demon Weapon brings them closer to Insanity.
Description: This Ritual can be performed at any time of day or night. The Weapon Gene is what gives the Demon Weapon the ability to transform. There are two ways a member gains The Demon Weapon Gene. 1) By being a descendant of a family line that has the Demon Weapon Gene (Start Up Ryo is still Deducted). 2) By receiving the Demon Weapon Gene later in life. The Ritualist creates a concoction, using the flesh of Protean, and injects the blood of Protean into the target of the Ritual. The target of the ritual then makes a Pact with Death himself asking for further power as the blood and flesh overtakes the body of the target. The subject dies and is ritually buried in hallowed ground. After the interment, the Ritualist invokes a prayer to Death asking him to bestow a power of weapon and steel. At the conclusion of the ritual the subject is unburied as life is restored. There are no Type nor Subtype alterations to the target. After the Ritual has been performed the target is able to maintain all of its Bloodlimit Attributes if it has one. It can no longer take any additional Creation Rituals. The Target may learn all techniques in the Mabuki Clan. If the user learns a "Weapon Form" they may "Partially" transform a portion of their anatomy (usually the arm) into a single Non-Chakra Weapon within 1/2 a round. The Limb remains transformed for a number of rounds equal to 3 + Impeccable Will, and cannot change back until the duration ends. User may perform this technique a number of times equal to 5 per Class Level. The transformed limb has all the properties of the Weapon Form, but is considered a Natural Weapon for all purposes. This ritual is ruined if a Raise Dead Ritual is performed on the subject or if the Subject is beheaded before they are brought back as a Demon Weapon. Performing the Ritual leaves the Ritualist weakened for 1d10 days.
