Bird, General, Falcon
Rank: ""
Type: Uncommon, Tiny, Animal
Effect: Highly maneuverable avian creature.
Special: Preparation: ---; Duration: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: These are smaller, swifter and more maneuverable birds as compared to hawks. They are about the size of crows. These birds are easily trained to assist hunters. These birds are often preferred for hunting over hawks because of their swiftness and agility, although hawks are able to catch larger prey. Most birds build nests using materials according to their size. Standard birds will use tiny twigs and small pieces of twin, while large, flightless birds might use vines, branches and tree bark to keep their eggs warm. All female birds are egg-bearing and egg-laying creatures, though usually both parents take equal roles in caring for eggs and young. Young fowl are hatched from eggs after being sufficiently warmed by the nest and their parents' bodies. They leave the nest after they have grown big enough to face the world. Ostriches keep their eggs warm in the sand, however, because the adult birds are too large to sit on the eggs without crushing them. Unfortunately the eggs are often crushed because they are on the ground.
Yields: All these birds are edible.

Finding himself in the mountains, it was one of the first times for Hamura to actually be outside of the village and not go to his training spot in the flatlands or the forest located not far from it. In fact, it felt strange that he went this far from the village with a purpose different from actually training to become stronger. This time, he had gone out in order to find someone, or rather something he considered to have made into somewhat of a friend of his. With a pouch full with slices of bloody beef that was left from the dish he had cooked up earlier, he had left his thrushes with a good amount of rice to enjoy. Dressed casually, he still had his cloak covering his body to keep the cold winds from getting to him. In preparation, he did however bring his wrist guards, his Tanto and his belt with quick loaders, just in case he encountered something that was more dangerous and would not enjoy Hamura's company.
