So the Devil and a Witch Walk into the Forest and... [Open]

[Madame Loki]

Loki had gotten herself out of the village for awhile. It was quite tiresome pretending to be someone else all hours of the day. SO know she would be enjoying herself a bit in the wilderness of the Land of Fire. At the moment she was sitting on a smaller boulder with her back rested against a large tree. In her hand was a rather nondescript book, of no real importance. Her Catwalk Stunner was in effect as it always was, and it was in a more relaxed appearance. It started at the top of the head with a hooded sleeveless shirt. She wore the hood over her head; the back of the shirt was completely out as well as most of the front. It looked more like a purple hooded piece of cloth. Underneath the hooded cloth was what looked like a black bra. The Purple shirt draped over a tattered black skirt, that would appear to have been made from animal hide, and under that skirt of a pair of equally tattered black pants. The Left arm was covered all the way up to the shoulder in a sleeve, and on the shoulder there was feather like appendages.

On the same left wrist along with the sleeve was a metal bracelet. She looked like what you would expect a Witch to look like. Her lower back was exposed, and on it was what would look like. Her golden Witch Watch hung around her neck. The golden Watch held, a handful of Harness gem, some common and other of her own design. It held the Gem of Telekensis, Gems of Energy (Cold Moderate), Doolittle Gem, Gem of the Wise, Gem of Insight, Tear of Raijin, and Nightmare Orb. The Sun's renewal, Soul Guard, and Simbul's Conversion ritual seals went down the left side of her body as if they were elegantly designed tatoos. She adjusted her glasses with her left hand. These glasses were not prescription, they were actually specialized goggles that held 7 lens; Anti-Flash Lenses, Zooming Vision(x100 zoom), Canny Descrier, X-Ray Vision, Condition Viewing Vision, Camera Vision x1, Thermal Vision x1.

What looked like a metal bracelet on her left wrist was in fact a wrist strap that contained 3 half pouches. In the first of the pouches was 10 Skadi's Cry Grenade, 20 Weeping Witch Grenades. The 2nd held, 100 diamonds, 100 emeralds, 100 Sapphires, and 100 Topaz gem. The 3rd was empty. Her Trigger Boots clacked gently on the boulder she was sitting on. Her boots held the Gem Of Energy( Fire Moderate); Gem of Energy( Electricity Moderate) attached to the shin area of the knee high boots, that merged into her Catwalk Stunner Clothing. The Heels would add an extra 6in to her natural height, having her standing at around 6'2.

On the boots heels combined with the Trigger Boots were the Toccatta Crossbow, which housed Gem of Prescience, and Gems of Energy (Acid Greater) Harness gems, and the Nocturne Crossbow that house the Gems of Energy (Sonic Greater). These were also all loaded with a full pistol magazine of Skadi's Cry, which consisted of Skadi Explosive bolt heads, a balanced shaft, and Spinning Razor Blade Fletchings. She had come out to get a little time away from village to be herself a bit, but this was turning out to be quite the boring experience.

Black dress shoes step through the forest softly, the leather hardly creaking, as these were very well made. Black slacks of a suit well-tailored, designed to fit the man, with a perfect crease up the leg that showed no signs of ever marring and held up by a black leather belt made of expensive animal hide. A button up white collared shirt beneath a black blazer, crimson red handkerchief in the left breast pocket, and a tie of the same color upon his neck to complete the outfit. First Dawn upon his waist, the sheath plain brown leather, the blade very much weakened from his days on High, but at least his golden wings remained, although hidden for now. A hand ran through perfect blond hair, dawn grey eyes gazing upon the creations of his father, and it was then that he felt the energy of someone powerful near. Intoxicating. It drew curiosity from him and his body moved of its own accord, Azazel in tow.

A woman, the only sentient life in this part of the forest besides himself, sat upon a boulder most delicately with a look of boredom upon her face. Unfortunate. Belial did not try to mask his presence in any way, strolling into her own clearing, dawn grey eyes upon her as she sat. He would speak to her in True Speech and it was perfect. “A woman so clad and powerful placed before my path in the forest,” he would begin as his right hand’s index and middle fingers would lightly brush the tall trunk of a tree he passed while entering the clearing, “yet boredom upon your face is not a look I would see upon one so beautiful. Why might a human like yourself be here amongst this nature, as if a dryad awaiting satyr to torture?”

He would place his hands in his pocket, watching her curiously from a distance of ten meters, knowing full well that they were within range of each other’s ability. His own Y’la, Azazel also watched curiously, his yellow eyes upon her as he rubbed one of his ten horns. The birds had fled upon his entering of the forest, as did most animals when faced with his own aura, the damned son of YHWY.

Loki closed her book as she felt the presence of someone powerful. Her head lazily tilted to the side as it turned to see the being head towards her. She smiled curiously at the man who stood there before her in a rather pristine suit. She giggled a bit as the man spoke to her in perfect Truespeech... how fun, this relatively drab day was already beginning to look up. "Flattery... will get you everywhere stranger. Indeed, I have been struck by a spell of boredom, but I wonder. Will play the role of a Satyr for me?" Loki responded back in prefect Truespeech. She crossed her legs as she placed he book down on the boulder and rest her hands in front of her.

"However, I feel there are no Humans currently present in this forest, my dear gentleman. I am a being of balance, and nature provides for me all that I need. What better place for one such as me to relax?" As Loki spoke, her own Y'la would float lazily from the tree above to rest itself on Loki's shoulder. Loki lend forward a bit as as took off her glasses. Her lavender eyes glowed a bit in the shadows of the forest. "Will my dear gentleman, give me a name? Or would he be waiting to keep his air of mystery?" Loki quipped. He carried himself as a gentleman, it was only polite for him to give his name first. Although she got the sense there was nothing gentle or man about him.

Belial smiled, perfect white teeth so neat and straight, graced his mouth a glimmered slightly in the sunlight streaming through the trees and clearing. A click of the tongue, a cock of the head, and a bit of that perfect blond hair falling before his right eye just a bit. It was longer than he liked, something he would have to rectify soon enough, once he had assimilated within this society of new humans. But first this woman, this…creature? What was she exactly if she claimed to not be human?

“Play the part of Satyr?,” Belial mused, taking a few steps to the left while tapping his chin with the edge of his right index finger, “I must decline, but perhaps in another lifetime.” After three steps he stopped, turning his dawn-grey eyes upon the woman once again, his gaze intense as always, while she asked of him another question. His name. He had been named many things by men, most of them unpleasant, but to speak his name might bring eyes upon him once more. A new name that he had chosen then, one of the names men had given him, to keep up his freedom a bit longer.

“Please do forgive, was never my intention to...deceive,” that charming smile returned as he faced the woman once more, removing his hands from his pockets, and giving the woman a nobleman’s bow. Feet together, left forearm horizontal across his back, while the right crossed his stomach. He would bend at the waist, dropping to just nearly ninety degrees, his eyes still upon her while he would raise back to standing straight once more. “You may call me Belial, madam. And what should I call you, besides beautiful?”

After her dear Gentleman introduced himself, she floated off the boulder unfolding her legs. Her feet touching the ground she removed her hood from her head letting her violet eyes catch the gleaming sunlight. Her long wavy raven black hair, fell around her shoulders, and down her back. She nodded, tilting her head to side, taking the edges of her skirt between the thumb and first two fingers on each hand, with her pinkies extended. She placed her right foot a couple of inches behind the left. She shifted most of her weight onto the front foot. She bent down gracefully, like a feather floating to towards the ground. Rising just as gracefully she smirked, "Belial, is the name of my gentleman. Beautiful, suits me just fine." She responded as she took several more step closer to Belial.

"But if you must have a name. Then, know me as my people do, Loki." She said, not really caring about him knowing her name. At this point she had so many names and forms, it no longer mattered, which form people grew to know. Loki looked down at her self and back over at Belial, "I feel I'm a bit under-dressed for this occasion. What an unpleasant feeling." Loki feigned embarrassment, as she truly didn't have an emotion such as shame in her system. "So Belial, you handsome devil. What brings you to this forest?"

A faint ringing of the compact kind chimed with Hecate on the other end waiting to be answered. When answered (if, knowing Loki's punk ass! <3 love you) the message was simple.

"Loki, I'm still in Bear and I'm more or less bored. Can you do that flashy zip thing you did back in the palace place thing and come get me?"

Then a pause.

"I'll be standing next to that tent flap thingy where the old people were who sent us on that bullshit quest I never finished."

Belial chuckled softly to himself, a pleasant musical sound, as Loki spoke to him of being under dressed. “Under dressed?” He plucked at the suit absentmindedly, “This is far more dressed than intended.” Several meanings could be pulled from that very statement itself, all of them half-truths in a way, although not outright lies, although there was an actual truth to each. The best lies are often those built around the truth, not to remove it, but to alter it ever so slightly. But another matter other than clothing came to mind as the woman gave him a name, Loki, the name of a troublesome lesser deity from long ago, from before the last time he was captured.

“Loki. A familiar name to be sure, one that I would not soon forget.” It was actually impossible for him to forget, his memory as perfect as his body, and with that very memory and his very eyes he would memorize her soul as well. A habit since his creation, where he had to know all in his Father’s Kingdom. “As for my purpose in this forest, I merely stopped for a rest, as journeying through these lands does consume a bit of time and energy. Although, I do have business with a certain people versed in the ways of the old world.” He would cup his chin with his index and thumb of his right hand, his left lightly cupping his elbow, as he cocked his head to the side slightly and looked to the sky, a pose of thought. “Alas, I was not informed of where they might be. I seek to hunt the monsters of this world and learn from them all that I can. Would you know of such a place?”

Another delicious half-truth, one of which he savored, although not nearly as delicious as a true lie. “Oh, before I forget,” as if he could ever forget unless he wished it, “You mentioned there being no humans within this forest. So, what would that make you, if I may be so inclined to ask?”

Loki smiled at this Belial, he certainly had a way with words, none of which she took at face value, nor did she see him as a big enough threat to care. When he asked if she knew of such a place, a place versed in the ways of the old world. She smiled tilting her head to the said, "You wish to learn from, and hunt the monsters? Quiet interesting. And yes I know of such a place, rather intimately. As I live there." Loki would not give any further information about it, even though the City itself wasn't much of a secrete these days, at least to those who dwell in The Land of Moon. She raised an eyebrow as Belial asked what she was. Folding her arms she would answer him, "A witch." She said rather plainly with a smile on her face, clearly having no shame in what she was, nor should she. Before she could continue a sound began to ring from the Necklace around her neck.

"Oh, excuse me. I'm getting a Call." She brought up the necklace and smiled when she saw Hecate on the on end, asking for a ride. "Yeah, you didn't miss much. That guy wasn't much of a God... rather boring really." Loki then turned her attention back over to Belial with a smile, "I need to go pick up my sister, in the Land of Bears. One moment please." Loki would then vanish in a flicker of yellow light leaving her Witch Watch Floating there in the air. Before it would have a chance to properly fall much, Loki would reappear. The Watch back around her neck. However, next to her would stand Hecate, Jashin's favorite little maniac. Loki then turned to Belial, "Belial, this is my sister Hecate. Hecate this handsome gentleman, is Belial."

Snatched from the sprawling biome of Bear, the bright eyed killer found herself whipping through the world with such speed she didn't even have the time to appreciate motion sickness when they were back standing midst a forest and at her side was Loki, the cheeky sow of witchling!

With her signature deathscythe hanging across her back, dual yoyo's, fencing rapier, corset and starmetal breastplate she looked the part of a wanderer with no home but her dress, having been sundered long ago when she and Loki had met, was replaced with a long flowing gown of black that tickled her calves and a bow over it's chest ribbed with vibrant green. The gasmask she wore bore the resemblance of a raven and through the eye holes poured the bright green glow of her eyes staring around to land on Belial.

As disconnected as she was from the idea of adoration she could appreciate fine specimen -as was her job to do when prospecting for Jashin- looking him over once with a sort of stoicism before reaching around to peel off the mask she bore. Long raven locks washed across her shoulder's like a long infected oceanic wave and her pale features came to bare high cheek bones and big luminous eyes that didn't need more than a glance to tell maaaaaybe this chick wasn't all there.

"Belial?" She parroted back to Loki when she found it appropriate, turning to her sister witch but canting her eyes to watch the haunting handsome individual standing midst the company of two like it was he whom had just showed up from the outside looking in. The gas mask found it's way to the hook on her waist and with her hands free, crossed both arms across her chess with a Cheshire smirk. "Well I guess since you took the time to introduce him he's not here to be sacrificed... but at least he looks nice." Looking him over from shoes to the neat trims of his hair she proffered a small opportunity.

"You look like a fine harbinger for Jashin's will. You should consider joining in with me." Of course. Same old Hecate.

”A witch you say?” Belial would clap his hands together softly, producing a faint sound, and a small air of intrigue. “So witches are returning to the world of man. I thought you all removed long ago and the old magic forgotten, but here you stand, and this means you are not alone if you have a sister. Delightful! I have always liked witches, so mysterious and devious, always such fun.” They were interrupted by a call on a device that was upon her neck, speaking to someone on the other line of a god who was boring. There were no magicks strong enough to take down a true god though, so either that one had been false, or this new energy in the world was far more potent than he imagined. So this is how men shaped the world after they nearly destroyed themselves? So close to godhood…that filth. I’ll rectify that this time around.

As Loki vanished and returned, Belial would cease the massage of the base of his horns, which protruded from the base of his temple, but only five centimeters in length like small black bumps that were hidden by his hair. A new addition, likely a side effect of touching that celestial iron with his bare hands, as he had been cursed by his Father. His eyes would light on another, who looked delicate and frail, although he could see the truth plain as day. Her delicate body was strong, despite how gaunt it looked. Once more Belial would flourish his bow before Hecate, flashing that charming smile, although it did not touch the piercing gaze of his dawn-grey eyes. She is of Jashin, is she? Intriguing.

“I am pleased to meet another beauty in this forest,” he would begin, rising from his bow, “and you are of Jashin.” It would seem everyone liked to fold their arms, perhaps a human thing, although neither of these two could be considered as such any longer. “It has been a long time since I have seen Jashin, but I fear I cannot join him, for he would not have me and nor I him. I’m surprised he is still kicking though, but the man was never one to fall so easily if I recall correctly.” Truth be told, he spoke of old knowledge long passed, so his current knowledge of the world was rather lacking in many places, which he would have to address soon enough.

[Madame Loki]

Loki smiled, placing her right hand onto her hips. The way the man spoke confirmed what she has suspected, he was a very old being. She chuckled a bit, "Witches never truly left this world, my Grandmother made sure of that. She was the first, and may very well be the last, if our time comes. However, the Mother Goddess still have much for us to do." Loki then turned her attention over to Hecate for a second, "Like I was saying earlier. The target was hardly a God. Just like we thought, he was just some dumb ass human who got his hands on holy relics. Wasn't worth the time honestly. You didn't miss much... but his death was glorious. A concert of Flame and Lightning, reducing him to ash." Loki said to Hecate as she nudged her with her elbow. She knew that not delivering the death blow, or even getting to see it herself would annoy her.

Loki chuckled a bit as she stopped her teasing."So you speak of Jashin as an old friend, and you speak of Witches and Old Magics so comfortably. So I think it's fair to ask. What are you? Or perhaps the better question is. Who are you really?" Loki asked, turning her attention back over to Belial. She asked with a smile as she went by many names herself, and wondered if Belial was indeed his real name. In her studies of Divine Lore she had heard no mention of someone by the name of Belial, and if he spoke of Jashin in such a way, he was either some forgotten figure lost in history, or just some crazy. However, the power Loki sensed from him didn't appear to be human, so she assumed it was the former.

There was time for answers and no time for more questions. To say she was staring him down with an unmasked and plain hatred would be a gentle way of putting things. She was glaring him down with as much of her penance she could must in that tiny body of hers, nearly to the point of teeth. As much as poison and bile wanted to snake behind her tongue she couldn't exactly... there weren't enough words just yet. So Loki chimed in with her two cents that put enough in perspective.

Knew witches. Knew Jashin. So who and what was he? Where did he come from if he knew so much even Loki was asking questions? Emerald eyes smoldered with anything but adoration--- raw unimpeded annoyance, her posture shifting to a heel with a cocked hip. Her equipment rattled in time with her movements and she sneers to tack on the end of Loki's statement was a vehemency that lacked poise and gracefulness.

"Everyone dies Belial." She slurred the name not unlike a teenager might do, baring her teeth in a half sneer. "And where there's death Jashin waits with open arms. The lands have been stale as of recent perhaps he's placed you in my path for a reason greater than one measly sacrifice." Whatever was going on she had nothing but the utmost belief Loki was going to spin these wheels till golden silk spilled out. So she could handle the intricacies.

Mumbling at the elbow poke she stuck her tongue out at the witch, "You and the tin can seemed buddy buddy, I don't play well with others but can we keep this one?" She jabbed her thumb at Belial. "He looks promising. Besides, what's the harm in another pretty face?" She hummed it with none of the flirt and all of the teeth of a predator on every word.

Belial listened to the question from Loki, curious as he knew she would be, about his knowledge of the world before their times. Yes, they should have questions, but how should he answer? The truth can be fun at times, if used sparingly enough, but could he afford that right now? He knew so little of this new world. Well what could be the harm? It is not as if they could stop me if I did not wish it. His eyes would light on Loki, dawn-grey and glittering with knowledge soon to be shared, a rare moment of truth and clarity from his lips not to be interrupted.

“Of course. The what and who is simple. I am—“

Before he could finish the waif of a girl piped up, slurring at him like a child throwing a tantrum, spouting how great her god was and how powerful he was that he could defy death. A simple trick that anyone with a bit of knowledge and a bit of power could easily do as well, almost akin to a parlor trick for deities. Interrupting him like that with such an outburst was rude enough, however speaking of him as if some pet or child’s toy to ‘keep’ was far more indignation than he could bear to hear from a human made puppet to Jashin. Only five meters away as the thin girl turned her head, the horns upon Belial’s head would glow blood red, matching the crimson that flooded his eyes, the three tomoe [Sharingan] that formed there instantly placed within a ring of black. His gaze was upon her, Hypnotic and stifling [-3 Will Save], while his own Y’la pumped power through his Aura of Misfortune [-5 Will Save], placing Hecate well within it.

Golden wings would burst from his back through the coat, the tears having already been made to accommodate, and they would be beautiful to behold as the sparkled in the light of the sun. The rage on his face was terrifying to behold however, a dark anger that had merely smoldered beneath the surface, erupting far too easily. His gaze had snapped to her eyes in an instant and the power of his Sharingan would oppress her as heavily as possible, calling for her to bow before him, his gaze Majestic and terrible to behold [DC 48 vs Will 25].

“DO NOT THINK YOURSELF ABOVE ME, GIRL, THAT YOU CAN SPEAK OF ME AS A PET OR ITEM!” It was very rare that Belial would ever raise his voice, though it was powerful and thundering when he did. “I AM THE DAWN! THE MORNING STAR! THE FALLEN STAR! I AM LUCIFER! DO NOT DISRESPECT ME AGAIN!”

As his wings would fold, the aura would return to normal and leave from those before him, his eyes becoming the normal dawn-grey color once more as those very wings returned to rest within his body. The red glow of his horns would subside and he would brush off his sleeve, knocking a golden feather down to the floor, followed by straightening the jacket of his suit.

“Apologies, madam. Where were we?” He would clear his throat. “Oh yes, the Mother Goddess. I know of her, although she was not tasked to me, but to my brother Gabriel, although she would have me to thank for her life now, I suppose.” He would chuckle to himself, although it was merely a tactic to keep his rage in check. “Did I sufficiently answer your question? Now, for this city where you mentioned you live. Where would one find it?”

Set in her ways, the upside of being a terror of the planes simply ran in her blood now, blood mixed long with the blood of others she'd consumed or bathed within. The chaotic spirit in her wasn't without resonance and purpose, a blind purpose but one that brought her through the fires without tribulation. Of course there was always someone just a step higher on the totem pole and even though you bent her knee to Jashin there were always the bottomfeeders hungry to get their licks in.

She'd been hit with a similar Genjutsu before though she couldn't name it if asked, that fight for bodily control that saw every muscle in her straining to keep upright and it wasn't till she was simply bowing her head at the incline, a lean at the waist, like sugjugation, eyes averting as if the meek dry leaf wavering in the face of a the mighty storm. She was aware of the going ons, conscious through the whole ordeal of course, missing the display of wings and flourishing though the light it produced wasn't easy to miss. So who was he? The question threatened to be drowned out by the roar of adrenaline in her system.

It was over just as quick as it began, her neck stiff with reluctance but no sooner had she felt the weight lift did she glower at him beneath the shelf of heavy brows and sunken eyes. She owed Loki a debt and it stayed her hand on the instrument the very same witch had crafted for the nefarious deeds. Her duty to Jashin went above all but... this was the long game. The bishop stepping before the queen.

He got his words out but Hecate wasn't without her own actions, a billowing rush of power flooding throughout the whole essence of her being to dispel such petty parlor tricks and placing a hefty bulwark of resistance. She remained motionless the whole while, staring. There was no way he could pull it off again. That was the best part.

"Not a toy or item?" She chimed in right at the end with a nasty sneer. "Sounds like someone really did a number on you in the past for you to come up with that comparison." She had no idea who he was or his past but she took her shots. With a sniff and stretch of stiff muscle she cut her look back to Loki whom likely been audience to it all undoubtedly, something wild in her eyes behind the calm of her tone. The beast rattling it's cage for permission for just a fraction before returning to the handsome stranger.

"But I suppose if you have to say it, it must have been true. Tough luck, doll~" That did give her pause. "Wait. So is it Belial or Lucifer?" Now something reeked of identity crisis.

Loki saw Belial's eyes flare with the Sharigan, reflexively her's would do the same. She saw the target was Hecate and once his jutsu came into effect upon her, Loki would step in front of Hecate, to make sure that she was not attack while in such a vulnerable position. Loki's eyes glared at Belial's as he made his grand proclamations. Loki glanced over her shoulder to see that Hecate had brushed off the mental attack and was steeling herself for any further attempts. Loki would pay her Y'la a bit of strife to ensure that Loki's own Aura wouldn't hinder her while she remained next to her. Smirking Loki listened to Hecate as she went right back at it with Belial, slinging bile in her words. Loki shook her head, and sighed.

"Both... Lucifer is the name given to him by his father... Belial is the name he has taken for himself. A Fallen God, or I suppose Angel depending on who you ask... fascinating indeed." Loki knew the story of Lucifer, anyone Mildly familiar with Divine Lore would be much the same. This was turning into quite the exciting day, and here she thought it would be a bore, how wonderful. Luci went on to talk about the Mother Goddess, and Loki smirked a bit, "I'm sure she's grateful. You'll have to tell me the story some day, it's one I'm not too familiar with. Which is very rare for me." Loki dropped her hands to the side as it seemed things were beginning to calm down a bit. Her Sharigan faded and her lavender eyes glowed in the shadows of the trees.

Loki had meet only one other Angel of the One God, but it was clear that he was a lesser angel, back then Loki determined that they were more or less the equivalent of witches. Being created by their Gods, to do their bidding, but for someone forced to protect the unworthy Humans from their own stupidity. If she understood the stories correctly, her and Belial where very much alike or at least they used to be. Only difference was she wasn't dumb enough to try and bite the hand that feed her, and she had come to... understand the humans. Loki smiled a bit at the scene before her. "The disgraced Archangel of the One God, The Daughter of Magic, and Jashin's Favorite Murder bot. What a group eh? Thank you for making this day so festive. Ah Yes, my home."

Loki wasn't sure how to tell this to Luci, he had been locked up from some time if she was to believe he was who he said he was, which at the moment she had not reason to believe otherwise, other than his lack of power, compared to the stories, but that could be easily explained by his fall from grace. Her next bit of info would also help to determine if he spoke the truth of who he was, "You know of the Mother Goddess. Then you must know of her first children. I live on the land in which the First Witches created by the Mother Goddess, and where her favorite Morgana LeFaye still dwells."

”I see,” Belial would say dismissively to Hecate, “I did not mean to lose my temper with one of limited mental capacity. But I’m sure that’s part of Jashin’s plan.” The man had made no move on the vulnerable girl, nor did he have plans to in the first place, as cowing her was more than enough repayment. Her reaction to such cowing was delicious however, as she tried to stand tall and firm once again after such humiliation. She was no one of note, it would seem, and thus beneath him. As a bit of a bonus, it would seem that this witch who acted so cool and cold cared far too much, stepping in harm’s way for someone who had earned what they had coming, and so he filed that away as well; as they were doing now that they knew his true name.

“Your words ring true, Loki,” he would begin, easing back into his natural demeanor of a gentleman, “I am both Lucifer and Belial, one given and one taken.” He would tap his chin as Loki finished reveling in the fact that their ‘group’ was of such misfits to cause amusement, and it did just a bit. Belial found himself chuckling at the words despite himself, a quick and light pause from the dramatic, and a lightening of the mood. The true information that he sought came next however, as he was informed of where this place was, if so indirectly. Creatures of the material plane certainly did like to beat around the bush when it came to simple things.

“Ah yes. The Land of the Moons, a place that once controlled the ebb and flow of magic, or so my brother had said.” He would stroke his right horn with his right hand thumb absently, still not used to the little addition, even after all these years. They were black with veins of gold that created rings every other centimeter, right where his temples would be, and he was growing to like them in a perverse way. His Father was still bestowing gifts. Azazel, the ten horned Y’la, watched the others from atop his shoulder and weighed nothing, his sickly yellow eyes far too perceptive. “As for Morgana, I am not overly familiar with her, but I have heard tale of her. Still alive? Surprising indeed! I would love to meet her one day.” His charming smile held a hint of cruelty, hard to spot if one were not looking for it.

“As for that story, I would love to tell my side for once. I fear people don’t know the half of it. Maybe in exchange, you can aid me in understanding this new world. I still need to stretch my wings and wrap them around the world that is.”

Loki chuckled as Belial seemed to figure things at rather easily, "It seems you are exactly who you say you are. How refreshing to have one speak such truths. Sorry for the vagueness, but I needed to verify the information my own way." Loki was satisfied for the moment, although she couldn't verify completely, but her Grandmother would be able to without much trouble. Having them meet would be quite interesting. Loki's eyes gleamed with excitement as Belial agreed to tell her the story in exchange. "You've clearly have had your run ins with witches before... an even exchange indeed. Perhaps we can set a date for such an exchange once you've made your way to my Home."

Loki then walked over to the boulder where she was sitting at the beginning of all of this and grabbed her book. She smiled at Belial, "As far as meeting my Grandmother. I'm sure I can arrange a meeting, of course I'll need something from you. I'm sure we can discuss the details later. Also, When you find your way to the city, ask for me for." Loki walked back over, and placed her hand on Hecate's shoulder, "So you want me to leave you here, or is there somewhere you want to go? Or are you fine just tagging along for awhile?" Loki would ask Hecate, who seemed like she was still in the mood for a good fight.

”I appreciate the information, madam,” Belial would flourish a bow of farewell, which was exactly the same as the others, “and I would be delighted to recant the story for you at a later date. Perhaps in a few months time once I have grown accustomed to this world again and its people.” His golden wings would spread from his back once more, catching the light and glittering in quite the majestic fashion, making it appear as if he had a radiant glow, but it was merely a trick of the light. “As for meeting with your grandmother, if she doesn’t find me first, then we can discuss some details of an arrangement. Farewell.” A powerful flap of his wings and he was in the sky, one more and he was above the clouds on his way.

Once more call out from the distance, this one for Hecate. "Oh, tell Jashin I said hello!"

Time had passed and Hecate lapsed into what could only be considered a standing dirt nap, a yawn pulling at the corners of her mouth as she settled in for the evening of potential killing. But there was no one around. Lucifer fuckface and the blasted witch. She'd lost her again.

Without hesitation she fished out the compact again and flipped it open. Loki. Sweetheart. Darling. None of which really applied but it made for interesting conversation later. "I need you to do that witch thing you do. You know the one with the teleporting and the jumping and saving me half a day trying to run you down. I need to sink this blade into something living soon or I might go stir crazy."

These woodland 'critters' didn't fit the bill.

"Hmmm?" A voice cooed over the Witch watch that Hecate had in her grasp. The voice let out a yawn as she continued, "Ok, love give me a second to get dressed." A literally instant after those words where spoken, Loki appeared in front of Hecate with a sleepy expression on her face. Looking after 2 babies was easily the hardest thing Loki had experienced in her life. She ruffled her hair. She looked at the scythe that she had created for her sometime ago. She groaned a bit, "You won't be killing anything with that thing. Give it here... I'm going to improve it." Loki said as she grabbed Hecate by the shoulder, and as soon as she did, the two of them would disappear.
