I was growing bored with all of this small talk between the two males. My cherry pink eyes rolled heavenward as I listened to the Takikage discussing past battles. Jesus just how old was this guy? I took a seat without speaking, gently placing the cloak I stole over the back of my chair before I sat down. I remained straight-backed due to the white and black corset I wore. I propped one leg over the other and folded my arms across my chest beneath my bosom. But my head jerked toward the boy when he muttered once he sat down. I then got a proper look at the Takikage for the very first time now as he stood up from behind his desk. He was well over six feet, no distinguishing features showed through due to the hideous mask he wore. But his body shape was interesting enough. The shape of it would have had me guessing his age to be in his late teens, perhaps early twenties. I glance at the other ninja and could easily see that he was still a kid. Perhaps around my age before I went through my… transformation. The Takikage spoke again, explaining why I was here. My expression hardened when he spoke of his interests of me becoming an agent. I liked the sound of that and a small smile formed on my ruby lips. He then moved onto the village being targeted by some unknown force and that the boy, Seraph was bringing trouble our way. Well why the fuck is he here then? I glance at Seraph, wondering just what kind of trouble he was bringing while the Takikage gave me orders to put a end to it all. I get to kill people, that was fine with me; but partnering up with Seraph was something else entirely. I was about open my mouth to protest when Seraph also shared my feelings as well. “Sir, if I may.” I pause, “Seraph is a rogue ninja. Why should we allow him to join our ranks when he has a history of deserting his former village?” I ask, ignoring Seraph’s attempt to bypass the partnership part with a what do I need to do to pass speech. “Well what I want you to do right now is silence yourself.” I say, irritated with his impatience. “All good things come to those who wait. There are reasons behind Lord Takikage’s reasoning and since none of us know you, you are not to be trusted.” Whether or not the Takikage liked my words or not, I was growing tired of this conversation. Personally, I wanted the kid to leave so I could discuss this agent thing in a bit more detail with the Kage. But I knew that was not going to happen. “If you want to become a shinobi of Takigakure, you are to follow instruction and to respect your peers.” I said with a firm note to my voice. |
