Journey to the Land of Fang and More...

    Inoryu had come equipped for a long journey, merely packing his essentials in a single butt pack equipped to his right side. This wasn't a mission, so he only packed what he thought was absolutely necessary. This included a weeks worth of military rations, one slot of hira shuriken, one slot of bo shuriken, one slot of darts, two slots of kunai, a speedy healing herb, the world map, a rural map of the Land of Fang, a compass baseplate, and a standard water bottle. Equipped on his person was armour covering his torso, right shoulder, and right arm, a tanto secured to his back, and his Kusagakure shinobi headband secured around his neck. Having already studied the world map, he knew that all he had to do was head straight east the entire way through the Land of Fire, and ferry to Fang. He would choose the public routes outside of the wilderness and stroll along them leisurely.

    Inoryu made for the Port and waited patiently for the next boat to the mainland. He would travel the same route he came with his map and compass, successful in finding the legendary book he desired. He really enjoyed his time in the Land of Fang, it was a beautiful country. This side quest was more of a vacation than a mission. The time for relaxing was over now and he had work to do when he got home.

There didn't seem to be a direct waterway to Kusa from the Land of Fang, so the boat was only able to take Inoryu so far.

He ended up stepping onto the territory of the Land of Fire.

    Inoryu would cast the greater invisibility jutsu and move quickly through the Land of Fire, traveling along the branches. He had to be careful in enemy territory and such precautions were required. He headed NorthWest to his homeland, silently, and invisible. He used all his senses to detect any kind of danger and was ready to fight if needed. He wouldn't hold back in his attempt to flee enemy ninja, though he hoped it wouldn't come down to that.

    After studying the maps available at the library, Inoryu memorized the route he would take as well as any obvious landmarks [Eldritch Memory] before setting off to prepare for the mission. His plan was simple, fly west into the Land of Bears, then approximately 400-500 miles, just beyond the river he would find Bermervoord to the North in close proximity. By using the flight ninjutsu at an altitude of four thousand feet in unison with the deep breath ninjutsu, he figured he would arrive within the day. Of course, he would take with him soldier pills to restore the chakra he would use, and if he needed to he would make shelter and hunker down the for the night and continue the next day.

     Along with the dark grey shirt, black cargo shorts and low black boots, he would equip all of his armor of pristine quality, stealth enhanced umbrite that protected his right arm, right shoulder, torso, and head and secure his tanto to his right thigh. He took a mental note of the inventory he would keep with him with a well rounded strategy. His left butt pack would contain a gas mask, a standard bottle filled with purified water, a spyglass, flint, 40 holder enhancements, four blood increasing pills, five zipties, 10 military ration pills, a speedy healing herb, and a series of explosive tags (3 Fire, 5 Cold, 4 Lightning, 5 Acid, 5 Negative, 4 Radiant). His right butt pack would contain one slot of caltrops, one slot of darts, five small disks, two slots kunai attached with explosive tags; ice, lightning, radiant, and fire, two slots of hira shuriken, 49 senbon, and two slots bo shuriken. He had another slot of hira shuriken and three kunai hidden underneath his shirt by using an adhesive.  

    After visiting his home to pack his gear and equip his armor, he stepped out to his courtyard and weaved the hand seals for the wind release ninjutsu that facilitated perfect flight. He would attempt to arrive at Bremervoord within the day since it was still early in the morning. It wouldn't be the longest trip he's made by flight. He steadily elevated to profound heights, and when it strained his breathing, he activated the deep breath ninjutsu. He expected these two ninjutsu to carry him all the way to the Land of Bears.

    Inoryu continued the system of refreshing the deep breath and flight ninjutsu. He knew he had entered Ame no Kuni by the sudden manifestation of rain clouds above. At an altitude of four thousand feet, he was capable of breathing despite some strain. He observed the land transition below and continued West to Ishi no Kuni while remembering the world map photogenically [Eidetic Memory]. It was a simple thing to stay consistent with his route, though every now and then, he would weave a series of four hand seals and initiate the air current detection jutsu. There was a lot of natural, moderate winds at that altitude and by focusing on them, Inoryu was able to determine North and correct his direction. For the most part, he did not need correction, so he merely continued until he reached the Land of Stone.

    The characteristics of the land below changed and he knew that he had crossed the border into Ishi no Kuni. He was making great time and was more than half way finished with his flight. The chakra drain was less than he expected at this point, all he had to do was keep heading West. He weaved the hand seals for the deep breath jutsu and a cry escaped him like a crane as the chakra caused the air to enter and fill his lungs. It allowed him to breathe at such altitudes, and he wouldn't need to inhale again for an extended period of time. He monitored the land below as it seemed to transition past him, waiting to meet the border of his destination.

    Inoryu exited Ka'aba, the capital of Ishi no Kuni and journeyed East towards his homeland. He was leaving the country a better and more capable ninja having succeeded in the tasks given to him by the Kamizuru clan. He has acquired a powerful item, new friends and the understanding of the esoteric hiraishin jutsu. Hopefully, he had accomplished what he had personally come to do and more covert missions would be expedited to Kusagakure. Espionage is where his ninjutsu is most valuable. An influx of covert missions would allow him more work, and with enough experience he might even possibly be promoted to ANBU. Inoryu trekked easily through the country of stone, following his compass East towards Ame no Kuni. He should arrive at Kusa no Kuni somewhat later into the evening.

    Inoryu was grateful for his armor which kept him relatively dry. The rain pattered against his helmet, breastplate, pauldron and arm cannons softly like a light drum meant to soothe. He weaved a series of eight hand seals, dog, hare, bird, dragon, tiger, ox, serpent, monkey and felt his chakra lift him from the ground. He weaved a second series of hand seals, bird, rat, monkey, dragon, and with a sharp exhale that sounded like a crane's cry, his lungs filled with air.  He would use the flight and deep breath jutsus to fly above the rain clouds.  He continued East over the vast expanse of shadow omnipresent to Ame no Kuni until he touched down in Kusagakure. He picked up the pace with perfect flight to expedite the process.

    It has been some time since he had returned home and Inoryu has accomplished much. He successfully recruited a ninja and integrated him into the village, and the Kusakage was so impressed with his dedication that she assigned him to lead a team a genin. So far things have been going smoothly until a letter came from the Land of Tea. Somehow, an ancestor has passed down a large estate to his possession but it has been rumored to be the location of very dark rituals. His ancestor was a victim of his own intrigue and committed suicide, rogues, ninjas and adventurers are coming in from all over the world to seek the fortune and mysteries of the hamlet. When Inoryu got wind of this, he decided that he would check out the estate himself, alone, as it was way too dangerous to involve his team of genin. 

    Inoryu started following his compass West towards Ame no Kuni equipped with his helmet, breastplate, right arm cannons and pauldron forged pristine with umbrite. A thousand visages would make it appear as though he were wearing a plain black long-sleeve shirt in place of his breastplate, and his Kusagakure forehead protector in place of his helmet, though underneath the disguise truly was a black T-shirt and plain black long-sleeve as well as plain black cargo shorts. His left butt bag contained utility ranging from survival to gadgets, and his right butt bag contained various kinds of weapons, including explosives. His main pack contained several different oils that he could apply to his weapons to increase the damage towards certain creatures. Underneath his clothing was one masterwork, oversized kunai with his unique hiraishin seal, 由, meaning freedom and reason, and one slot of bo shuriken. Five of the bo shuriken hidden in his clothing contained the hiraishin seal and the first two hira shuriken of the slot in his right butt bag also contained hiraishin seals. Strapped to his left thigh was a tanto baring the hiraishin seal on the hilt. The rumors were extraordinary and he wondered how prepared he truly was.

Description: A Light Weapon. These weapons do +1 Amour Points of Damage. The Range Increment of this weapon is 5 meters. A caltrop is a 4-pronged iron spike crafted so that one prong faces up no matter how the caltrop comes to rest. The user scatters caltrops on the ground in the hope that the opponent steps on them or at least forced to slow down to avoid them. 1 slot of caltrops cover an area 2 meter squared. Each time a creature moves into an area covered by caltrops or spends a round fighting while standing in an area, they may step on one. Description: Mix the saltpeter, the distilled water, the powdered pearl, and anyseed using a congelation method. It takes approximately 1 hour to create one. This will make 1 standard-shot of "Northern Wind". The explosive may be programmed with a timer to explode up to 6 seconds. A more contained explosive with a range of 2-meter diameter. The saltpeter creates the intensity in which the chakra properties in the anyseed reacts to the powdered pearl and distilled water allowing for a burst of cold energy capable of freezing its area. Those hit by the explosive (or within the 2-meter diameter) will take 36 Armour Points of Cold Damage and will be frozen in place for 10 rounds or until destroyed. Frozen targets may be set free by destroying the ice from external force equal to 20 Armour Points of Damage. Frozen targets take an additional 25% Armour Points of Damage if struck while frozen.

Description: Explosives Tags are scraps of paper inscribed with a Glyph of Warding. Normally when they are infused with Chakra, they will explode after a set amount of time, remotely, or after being ignited by flame. The tags can be attached to a surface or wrapped around a weapon to be thrown at an opponent. They are very versatile and one of the basic tools. When an explosive tag is detonated remotely, a user tends to use the "Snake" handseal (Uses "E" Rank Chakra and Jutsu Handeals to perform). Similarly, when used remotely, explosive tags can be detonated in sequence, allowing them to be used to trap opponents. When Purchasing: Must designate the type of Explosive (Force, Fire, Cold, Sonic, Lightning, Acid, Negative, or Radiant). The user gains 10 temporary Armour Points per crafter's alchemy mastery. User also restores 1/3rd of their chakra (honor based) for 24 hours. For 24 hours (or until chakra is used, whichever is quicker), the user will be able to ignore starvation and thirst and gain +4 Alchemical bonus to saves against sleep, and fatigue.
