So he kept on running and whenever he desired to stop, he just lower his speed further until he finally was walking around. His pulse was high, sweat was pouring down his neck and he had troubles taking his deep breaths needed to keep on moving. So when he had taken almost an entire lap of a few dozen miles, Emi had to stop as his legs couldn't bare his immense weight no more. He had to take a few moments to regain some strength before he could move on with his next step on his training. What had him a little angry at himself however was that when he wanted to start the exercise he still felt weak and incredibly hungry.
Emi noticed that he could not even recover while thinking off food, which had him actually give up and capture and eat a larger bird. When he had done so, he felt that he immediately regained most of his initial power, making him wonder if he had been bound to eat food to recover from that moment on. To see if he could use that effect during his actual training however, Emi thought that he'd try to run some more on the exact same path as before. During the run he did however bring along two birds which were both stropped from feathers and cooked over a fire. It added extra weight to him and was uncomfortable for him to carry around, which had him feel tired even faster than he had been before. But when he finally had crossed the first half of the lap, Emi began to eat the bird while still keeping on running around.
Despite that he had been more tired from the run, he felt how new energy poured into him and for some reason his breath was calming down into a fairer tempo. The focus upon the meat was also beneficial as it made him unaware of how long he had actually been running around. Then when the entire thing was devoured it was actually not that far left until the entire lap had been finished, while he still felt quite refreshed. So when it was time for him to take the other bird, he began to wonder if he would even need it. He ran for a few more miles before he decided that he would actually eat it, just to keep on running even further. When he finally had to stop from tired legs, he had run almost 5 laps around the valley around the village. Emi then knew that the food would had gotten even more essential for him.
