//Enter Winter was definitely here. The sun was one third across the sky indicating that it was well into the morning and not quite noon. The wind was icy cold, slicing through the landscape and battering against anything that stood on the earth. I emerge from the secret forest heading toward the gates, looking around as I did so. In all honesty it was the first time I had ever ventured out of these gates since I was found buried in the village. I look upward into the white sky and squinted my eyes as the sun fell steadily. Fortunately for me it blocked out most of the sun which allowed me to remove the hood of my long ankle length cloak. The white material enabled me to blend into the landscape nicely. Underneath the cloak, I wore a white and black overbust corset over a pair of white pleather pants. The cloak flowed around my attire, hiding the fact that I had come equipped with an assault pack filled with 228 senbon, 6 kunai, 90 darts a compass and a pair of googles equipped with night vision, xray vision and 90 meters worth of zoom. Beneath the cloak I also had a leg pouch filled with a single twelve inch knife which was strapped to my right thigh. My footwear consisted of a pair of white knee high stiletto boots. The stalk of the boots left small indentations in the snow as I ventured out into the countryside. Within moments these pin prick holes will be covered by the snow once more. My makeup consisted of silver smokey eyeshadow and eyeliner and blood red matte lipstick. My long silver white hair was tied back into a high ponytail which was situated at the crown of my head. The length of my hair rained down my back, stopping mid-back but would cascade long past my bottom if left down. After I got outside the gates at a safe distance, I would stop walking and turn around slightly. “You ready, kid?” I say, folding my arms across my chest.

Snow fell in hypnotic circles around the land of Taki, and on the border of Kusa, where lay the Crimson Forest, the land here was barren and white. In the stark environ, wind cut cold on nature, despite the usually warmer climate these regions of the Ninja World offered. The two shinobi who trekked these southern regions of Waterfall would soon come across a flat fog that encompassed the land. Sure enough, given the already bright and white flurry that pelted down on the land, it was beginning to become a difficult thing to navigate through the thickening translucent gray and white fogs. 

But to their pleasure, they would notice a flame hovering ten meters before them. It was starting to grow larger, and soon it would be noticed that a figure was running towards the duo. The man shouted over the slicing winds towards the Takigakure ninja team. He would emerge from the fog and could be observed as an elder man, of roughly forty; he was wearing monochromatic clothes of darker shades of red, perhaps linking this village to the nearby Crimson Forest; the elder possessed gray eyes that shone against the hovering sun's light. "Greetings, shinobi! We are glad you have received our pleas of help. Welcome to Kurenai Village.." He would later on, after formal introductions were produced, led them along the path and through the thicket-smog as he began to go on about the various problems that have recently plagued the denizens of the village.

"Unfortunately, due to this peculiar fog, we have had little to no progression on finding information about these missing persons. But," he mentioned, stepping over a gnarled log that stood out against the white background of his surroundings; "There is a traveling caravan, from the lands of Wind, that has stopped in Kurenai. We don't think these people have anything to do with it, though.. for it seems that even some of their own have gone missing.." Troubled, the man begin to fall into chasms of critical thought as worry soon began to furrow his brow. They continued on into the village, where more could be observed by the ninja team.

Seraph would sigh quietly "Why so cold, why so foggy and why so gloomy" Seraph loved that he was going on his first mission for Takikagure, but didn't want it be like this, times like this would spoil his day, but what did he expect he's on a ghoul hunt he shouldn't really be expecting the weather to be all bright, sunny and wonderful, but the boy would have no other choice, but to cooperate with the weather and get this mission over with.

Seraph was wearing a blue jacket, white trousers, black shoes and black gloves, he had to pouches at his back and one was containing a set of bo shurikens, a set of hira shurikens and 10 explosive tags, in his other pouch opposite to the other he had 5 northern wind grenades and 20 smoke pellets.The boy wouldn't have his feet on the ground for he was levitating on his hoverboard 7 inches of the ground.

Seraph would sigh when Vampress asked if he was ready "I'm always ready" Seraph would start to walk with the villager after he had received the introduction. Seraph would look at Vampress "Do you think we should talk to the villagers who got there stuff missing?" Seraph would ask as they were walking.

To the dismay of the Takigakure team, a wail would be produced on the horizon. It came from a sorrowful soul, which seemed to send a colossal wave of despair into the soul's of the men and women gathered. Albeit done in the style of a requiem, the song itself was beautiful. It would not cause the men to seek out death, how ever; in lieu, those who succumbed to its message would begin to stagger mindlessly into the thickening mists. For whatever reason, the shinobi who had been assigned to the mission of finding out about the peculiar occurrences in Crimson Village were left unharmed by the dreadful Noonwraith's song. The elder seemed to be unaffected, too;

"There she is!.. The song of the Noonwraith." he turned to the Waterfall ninja. "Due to this mist, we can't find out where she is coming from! Most of the people who have fallen under her song's trance have disappeared to the north, but to where, I know not..." Despite the hazy environment in which they stood, they would recognize the man's pent up frustrations and sorrows. "Please.. please find my son. He and his fiancee were to be married within a few weeks' time, but it seems that he has fallen victim to the seductive song of the siren."

Now, they would be left to their own devices for some time as to privately investigate any situations they themselves could come across.

Effect: These monsters appear in fields when the sun is at its highest. Swaying grains on a windless day announce their arrival. They dance in circles in the light of day and draw farmers in to join them.

Description: Also known as Suicide Ghost, Hangman Spirit, or Noonwraith. Sivian Banshees are the spirits of females who committed suicide out of despair. Somehow, these evil spirits became stuck in the world. They seek to spread their misery to others. Sivian Banshees closely resemble Ghosts or Banshees. Sivian Banshees have no physical attacks, but they can use their "Whail of Despair" against anyone in a 10 meter radius. Those who hear it must make a Fortitude Save 18 vs. Death or become so despondent that they will commit suicide. Lawful Good creatures are immune to this wail, although it will make them sad. Victims that miss their saves immediately seek ways to destroy themselves, although the Banshee can delay this event and make unlimited Suggestions that can hinder, although not directly hurt, their new brief-lived friends. They can strike with their claws dealing 20 Armour Points of Negative Energy Damage. Holy water does 12 Armour Points of Damage. These apparitions are insubstantial and can pass through any solid object that is not blessed or consecrated. Blessed, holy, or Masterwork weapons will harm them. Burning the physical remains of a Sivian Banshee will immediately destroy it. Sivian Banshees dwell in the ruins of the places where they died. Most victims of a Sivian Banshee continue to rot wherever they did themselves in. Sivian Banshees are not part of nature. Using a Speak to the Dead to talk to a Sivian Banshee will depress the user for 1d6 weeks.
Yields: When a Sivian Banshee dies they turn to dust. This dust is called Specter Dust. 2 cups of Specter Dust can be collected per Sivian Banshee. By using an infusion process the Specter Dust from a Sivian Banshee can be used to create Light Essence. This process takes 2 hours to complete. Every 2 cups of Specter Dust creates 1 cup of Light Essence. Light Essence is a light green swirl like color.

Picked up my laptop today so should be resuming back to normal now. //IC: We had not long been travelling out of the village’s entrance area where Seraph rode up on a floating contraption. I studied it with mild interest for a few moments before turning at the sight of fire. Since the landscape was so white, anything that wasn’t the colour of white stood out like a severed limb. The old man with grey eyes approached us in a somewhat panicked state which had me uncrossing my arms. Neither Seraph nor I answer the man, but he continued to ramble on as if not appearing to notice. Silly old coot. I decided to allow Seraph to take the lead, since I am only serving as the back up. But when he asked for my advice, I merely stared at him for a few moments. It was a valid question and I actually appreciated his willingness to seek advice considering how cocky he was. I nod my approval. “Sounds like a good idea. Where would you like to start?” I say, feigning interest. This was Seraph’s mission and I was willing to observe the decisions he was to make. I knew to step in if I felt he was off track, but I was very interested in the caravan that the old man spoke about. But at the sound of a soothing song would drift over the snow and roll into the village. The song sounded longing, calling for lost love and targeting the weak. So the song creates compulsions for the villagers to travel north only to not return? Was this a genjutsu? “Seraph, how is your knowledge in genjutsu?” I ask, my minds-eye awakening as I spoke the words. I closed my eyes briefly while using my senses to listen and feel the area around me. What could be out there that is causing this? And where is it? Seraph felt a bit freaked out in this place, but continued to keep his cool Vampress nodded to his question, but Seraph had already gotten some information from the villager whose son was missing right now they had nothing to track or to seriously look into but the Caravan, when he looked at it earlier it looked suspicious enough, but he had not entered it yet.

Seraph then responded to Vampresse's question "Yeah I do know a lot about genjutsu, and I'm sure I would of broke out of one by now" Seraph would reply, Seraph Tasukeru would immediately activate and the boy would insist that they go into the Caravan and check for anything that can help them with what they’re doing. Seraph would walk over to the caravan and hope Vampress was following him the boy would try and open the door by the door knob.

Description: Allows a full three hundred and sixty (360) degree field of vision. Unlike Byakugan, the user sees life in its normal colors during this tech, no details spared. Signs of life, thermal readings and X Ray vision is near perfect. Can also read a determine the difference of a regular shinobi to that of one with a bloodline or if they house any foreign presence by the different chakra waves displayed when observed through Tasukeru. This does not mean one knows the BL right away. Must have encountered the BL before in order to know exactly who they are. The ‘C’ ranked version grants the user up to 50 meters of observing. As both Seraph and I moved further into the village, my attention shifted around the area while my senses continued to branch out. Seraph was skilled in genjutsu, so that saved a lot of time. But I wanted to know more about him. As we approached the caravan, Seraph attempted to open the door while I thought about simply ripping it off its hinges. I stand to the left of Seraph and the door and look around behind and around us. “So, what made you decide to leave Konohagakure and join Takigakure?” I asked without looking at him. May as well pick his brain for information to report to the kage. But part of it was also for my own curiosity. Despite the boy did seem the type to keep a heavy lid on his privacy. However, when it came to me, if I wanted something I always got it. Always. While I awaited an answer, my eyes shifted around the area, my gaze lingering on the town folk to see what kind of people they were. I mean, just because people are going missing without a trace or reason, doesn’t mean that someone here may be responsible.

Seraph would remove his hand from the door know and turn to Vampress " The reason I left Konoha isn't really a strong reason for leaving a village, I got bored, tired and a bit overshadowed by the other Shinobi, so one night I leaped over the gate and left to the land of wind then from there I came, like I said not an actual reason for leaving Seraph would turn around once more and attempt to open the door of the Caravan.

So Seraph was a deserter because he grew bored. But overshadowed? I study him for a few moments while he worked on the door. “I appreciate the honesty.” I said, my tone surprisingly gentle. “However, your statement leads me to my next question: what happens should you feel the same way in regards to Takigakure?” I ask, Seraph will need to answer this carefully because this particular response may or may not seal this young man’s fate. Despite my way of living and my hard time obeying orders, I was to some degree loyal to Takigakure. It was the village that took me in despite what I’ve done when I woke up all those years later. But if I grew bored in Takigakure, would I desert it for another village? In my honest opinion, no I don’t think I would. In fact, if I grew bored within the village, I would find something to entertain me, whether it be going on a killing spree, fucking a few people, or simply demanding something from the Takikage. But becoming a traitor? So many choices Seraph may have had, yet he chose that one. As I continue to watch Seraph for a few more moments, I was mindful of my sensory abilities and was attempting to move out as far as my ability will allow. But my patience with the door to the caravan was thinning out to the point that I approach the door, standing beside Seraph and rapped my knuckles on it rather loudly. “If someone is inside this caravan, open the fucking door or I’ll destroy the caravan!” I shouted a warning. I would then turn my head to Seraph and give him a playful smile and say: “If no one answers the door by the time you count to five, kick it down.”

During the conversation between the two, a shadowy figure moved from within the caravan, yet distributed no source for the senses to pick up on; its movement had been fluid as wind. When the boy attempted the door a second time, the eye of the unknown entity shot towards the peephole. It would then notice, and also hear the two voices and gain their descriptive qualities; upon hearing the threat of the vampyric woman, a hand - fleetingly - grabbed at the door handle. Upon the count to five, had the boy, given his already absurd impatience and overly zealous demeanor, kicked the door as his comrade instructed, he would find it opened upon his attack. Seraph would then plunge into the dark room, perhaps slipping on loose sands, had he not the light footstep of a small-sized creature; this would also come as a total surprise to the snappy woman who had seen her fair share of the known demons of this world.

On the inside, where now the silent and vaporous thing resided, darkness crept around them, as an even colder presence swept into the Chinook caravan. In it's current form, the thing could not be seen nor easily discerned; from his surprise entrance "attack" on the Onigami genin, the boy would have only suffered humiliation following the instruction of his superior. The darkness settled into silence, following the rushing flurry of snow laden winds.

"I'm not sure we should be talking about this right now maybe after the mission" Seraph entered the caravan and lost his balance then fell, he would pick himself up from the floor as he felt a strong presence surrounding the room. Seraph wouldn't look back at Vampress, but he began  to talk to her "Do you feel like someones here?" Seraph would question Vampress in regards to what he felt earlier.

Seraph wouldn't be able to see anything in the dark room, but Vampress didn't feel like a human being to him, so Seraph would think she probably had a way to see, until Seraph just though a bit harder he's not completely normal either, Seraph activated his Tasukeru and now had a 360 degree view and was able to read thermally and x-rays, the room got slightly colder as he awaited Vampresse's answer, then he shouted. "Anyone here?"

Seraph’s response to me in regards to my question had me narrowing my eyes. “No.” I said firmly. “When I ask you a question, you answer it immediately.” I said, irritated that the kid spoke to me in such a manner. Sure, I was still indecisive about whether I liked the boy or not, but so far the answer would be no. My sensory abilities were picking up nothing, yet I could not shake the feeling that there was an occupant inside the caravan. When Seraph attempted to try the door again, it swung open of its own accord and I watched the genin tumble into the caravan unceremoniously. Inside it was dark and cold, yet no visible concerns popped out at me. Despite I wasn’t able to see anything straight away, I knew that there was something there. My senses were definitely on high alert now [all supplementaries listed]. So far I saw nothing, the caravan looked empty from my current position in the doorway while Seraph was inside the small building. “Oh, there is definitely something here,” I said softly, scanning the room for any auras that may be present there [Soul Sight]. “Tell me everything that you see.” Unbeknownst to Seraph, I begin to utilise my mastery over the soul to attempt to gain information from the spirits that occupied the area. My soul would reach out into the spiritual plane to where I would begin my search of any spiritual activity that surrounded the area. If we were unable to see anything here, perhaps the spirits will see what is unseen [Spirit Reflections 1|3]. I also wanted to know just how long this caravan was here as well. I looked around the area once again, hoping to see if anyone is close enough for me to ask the question. But since the small village was so scared, mostly everyone was hidden away indoors. It was obvious that they expected the shinobi to investigate without aid, but surely there was someone out in this shitty town that had enough balls to form a complete sack, that would be out and ready to help out if needed. The Stance [5] Rank: "E" Skill: TaiJutsu/Supplementary Effect: Stance is a crucial part of using any weapon. This is the basic stance technique. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Begin with the feet in a 90° comfortably separated at about half a shoulder's width apart. Center the weight on the rear leg. When throwing the user shifts their weight to the front. This causes the hips and shoulders to twist into the throw forcing the body's power into the throwing arm. After the throw is complete recover by returning to the original stance to ready the next throw. Limit: Must be a Throwing Specialist. Defensive Throw [10][20][60] Rank: "D", "C", "B", "A", "S" Skill: TaiJutsu/Supplementary Effect: A technique in which if the user has his sights set on a target ready to attack, the senses of the Throwing Specialist is so in tuned with his surroundings the user is unable to be flanked. Special: --- Drawback: The user may only learn this technique by the class that they are. This means that in order to learn the "C" Rank version they must be "C" Class, if they wish to learn the "B" Rank version they must be "B" Class. Description: A technique where the subconscious mind, where the subconscious body reacts just as they are attacked while flanked or while their back is turn. The body reacts in such a way to where they are capable of withstanding so much. This technique makes it where the Throwing Specialist is incapable of being surprised attacked, a sudden second sense kicks in as their body screams out to them yelling at them telling them to move, duck, dodge or anything else within that manner. This works on whenever they are being attacked. This technique however has a major flaw. The user is capable of dodging only whenever the opponent's class is equal or lower to that of the rank of the technique they know. This means that a "D" Class user that knows this technique cannot use this against an opponent that is "C" Class or higher. Limit: Must be a Throwing Specialist. Improved Uncanny Dodge [80] Rank: “A” Skill: Supplementary Effect: The user can no longer be flanked. Special: –- Drawback: –- Description: This defense denies an opponent the ability to sneak attack the character by flanking them, unless the opponent has at least 4 more Class Points than the target does. Class Points is the invisible number found in between Class Levels. 0 to 500 Training Points there is 1 Class Point every 100 Training Points. 500 to 1,500 Training Points there is 1 Class Point every 200 Training Points. 1,500 to 3,000 Training Points there is 1 Class Point every 300 Training Points. 3,000 to 5,500 Training Points there is 1 Class Point every 500 Training Points. 5,500 to Infinite Training Points there is 1 Class Point every 800 Training Points. Example: User has Improved Uncanny Dodge with 535 Training Points. An opponent with 900 Training Points can still perform Sneak Attacks while flanking the User. Example: User has Improved Uncanny Dodge with 1,660 Training Points. An opponent with 2,100 Training Points cannot perform Sneak Attacks while flanking the user. Limit: Must learn from a Master of Goutetsu 轟鉄 (Strong Iron). Must know Uncanny Dodge. Soul Sight [10] Rank: "D" Skill: Supplementary Effect: A Soulcaster can see the auras of others. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: This does not allow them to know their alignment, but can indicate an emotional state, like anger or love. Using this ability, a Soulcaster can recognize other Soulcasters and the Adopted Soul that individual has taken. This ability does not allow the user to see in the dark or see invisible creatures. A voice rang out from within the ghastly confines of the caravan. It seemed to be displaced and held no true point of origin:

"What do you want?... There is so siren here."

The eye of the Onigami surveyed the room and happened across an airy form of chakra somewhere in the left corner of the caravan; having noticed that the young boy had spotted him, the figure released its air-form and returned into a solid human. There appeared a Chinook male, at about roughly six-feet, five-inches, who had been dressed in clothing typical of a sand dweller. He crossed his burly arms and eyed the two Takigakure shinobi who had troubled his current abode.

Outside, the trio would hear a plea for help. Despite how loud it rang out, it seemed to be coming from a location much further outside the village...

Was this a ploy of the siren enemy, or an actual denizen in trouble? Skipping any formal introduction, the Scirocco descendant informed the two ninja present that the scream sounded like it came from his younger sister. Well it had become obvious that Seraph was not going to answer me and was more preoccupied with the unseen occupant of the caravan. Or shall I now say our now-visible caravan occupant. My cherry coloured eyes scanned the male carefully noting that he was large and bulky. But obviously a talented male indeed. “Well clearly you’re deaf. Seraph let’s go, we are wasting our time.” I said, turning heel and walking out of the doorway and out onto the street. At the sound of someone yelling for help, my attention shifted to the direction the voice was coming from. My sensory abilities branched out as my eyes briefly closed [Detect Chakra 1|3 rounds], if there was anyone or anything within a 20 metre distance I will be able to sense it. Whether it be an animal, or a person. If that plea for help was from the siren, I would be able to determine whether it is an entity or a living, breathing being. All the while we were briefly informed of whom the plea belonged to didn’t mean shit to me. But why would a young woman be out in the mist within a village where there claimed to be some kind of people-stealing entity out there? I release a sigh. Mortals were truly stupid creatures at times. “Seraph, now is the time to go and investigate, stop wasting time with the guy in the bus and put yourself to some good use.” I snapped, folding my arms across my chest as I did so. “This is your mission after all.” I added, throwing a look over my shoulder toward the teen.
