Chakra detection
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu/Passive
Effect: The animal companion can sense a person's level of chakra.
Special: ---
Drawback: Has very limited range. Is not very precise.
Description: Utilizing an animal's senses, they are able to sense ones power level by 'feeling' there chakra. They can only tell if the chakra level is lower, the same, or higher then there masters and has a range of 10 meters. Cannot be used for tracking, being the animal cannot move while detecting the level of chakra since it takes so much concentration.
Limit: Any type of animal.[ 00 || 30 ]Sometimes, Ōmo likes to take days for himself and do his own thing, even if that means being separated from Harue. In fact, sometimes he needs the short separations, if not at least a chance to move freely outside of the house. Unfortunately, he ends up running into a lot more threats without his master - would you imagine the amount of people that are scared by a lonesome lion, even when he's enjoying himself and minding his very own business? The answer is a lot. Over time, after spending so much time within the confides of this village and alongside his master and her escapades, Ōmo has learned a lot about humans and ninja. A lot more than he ever thought he'd know about them. For starters, they each came with a set of abilities, all different in their own ways but composed of the same elements. The possibilities in a being were endless, seemingly, and Ōmo was having a chance to sniff an feel all of this out.
It started slowly, of course. At first he thought it was just an aura or warm presence of the human, but over time it kept growing in pressure and the effect and weight it had over Ōmo. Sometimes, the feeling he got from a human that wasn't Harue might even intimidate him, despite his hardly ever feeling put off by someone else's existence. It was annoying, more than anything, that sometimes he could practically feel the strength resonating off of a human. Sometimes, even, he could feel their weakness as well. But the weak only ever made him excited, like the predator hunting the prey. The only time it truly bothered him was when the power was too much or was greater than his own master's.
Walking through the streets of Kusagakure, Ōmo had many chances of learning more about passersby from so much as just a glance. Not even, in retrospect, as the beast doesn't even have to meet the eyes of an individual to know just how threatening they are to him and his master. It was always measured in comparison to his master, Harue - he had no means of truly knowing just how strong an individual was in terms of their own being. Perhaps that was a bit frustrating to him, as it made him feel like his whole world had Harue at the center of his scope. He supposed that wasn't far from the truth, though, and accepted that he compared the strength of others to her own strength, as opposed to simply studying the base strength of an individual.
