a p p e a r a n c e:
Upon first impression, the first thing one would notice is Tachibana's long hair - a visual anomaly among other more typical male features. His hair seemingly grows like a weed even when cut, continuing to grow at a hastened pace even despite his own aging. Due to this fact it is only ever cut yearly and only down to the point where it wouldn't become a nuisance.
His face besets the idea of a shinobi, matching the ferocity and killing intent of one with a cool gentleness. His skin, pale, seems to never tan or blemish, stuck forever in a torpidity of youth - a gift of the misfortune.
Long has Tachibana abandoned the traditional shinobi garb instead wearing a Hanfu, a robe of older custom which would only adorn the rich, powerful, and scholarly. While he is more than capable a fighter this garb reflects a portion of his own refined attitude, preferring to think of himself as a scholar cultivating the arts. He owns many a different colored variations of his garb and each has been particularly tailored toward this end.

¬ Tachibana
The lost souls of the Tachibana family, who roam the known world shamed by existence. Tachibana, feels close to them, like any family. If he hears about one, he'll go out of his way to meet them. If they need help, he'll go out of his way to help them.

a f f i l i a t i o n :
¬ True Neutral
The "true" neutral looks upon all other alignments as facets of the system of many things. Thus, each aspect--evil and good, chaos and law--of things must be retained in balance to maintain the status quo; for things as they are cannot be improved upon except temporarily, and even then but superficially. Nature will prevail and keep things as they were meant to be, provided the "wheel" surrounding the hub of nature does not become unbalanced due to the work of unnatural forces--such as human and other intelligent creatures interfering with what is meant to be. Absolute, or true, neutral creatures view everything which exists as an integral, necessary part or function of the entire cosmos. Each thing exists as a part of the whole, one as a check or balance to the other, with life necessary for death, happiness for suffering, good for evil, order for chaos, and vice versa. Nothing must ever become predominant or out of balance. Within this naturalistic ethos, humankind serves a role also, just as all other creatures do. The may be more or less important, but the neutral does not concern himself or herself with these considerations except where it is positively determined that the balance is threatened. Absolute neutrality is the central or fulcrum position quite logically, as the neutral sees all other alignments as parts of a necessary whole.
P e r s o n a l i t y :
¬ Personal Moral Code
As with many other individuals Tachibana appeals to his own ideals and ethics code. This esoteric code governs nearly every action he takes, going from whether to take a mission all the way down to what is said during a simple conversation. Thus it is hard to sway his actions if one is not some sort of authority figure, being one - if not the only, exception to his moral standings, he often charging blindly into battle on a drop of dime on their say-so.
¬ Stubborn
The lack of capacity to stop, whether it be in a battle or during a mission. Tachibana seldom gives up on anything he ever does, partially because of his upbringings. Of course, like any personality trait, this has served him well and horribly. At times it gives him the push needed to continue on to greatness. At other times it forces him to overexert himself, or fall into a trap of some sort.
¬ Short-Fuse
Tachibana is known for having a short fuse by which can easily set him off. While this does not come into play in typical social situations, it typically does so during missions or other important events. This plays into a portion of his domineering attitude, wanting to be clear and concise with things and get on to doing what he feels is the correct action himself.

¬ Broken Meridians -
"Why does he persevere?"
An ethereal hand slowly entered the chest of a child, ghosting through as if it was made of something immaterial. Yet it made contact with something and there was a spark. A resplendent light shone on a wavelength that wasn't visible to the other three figures in the room, as a translucent figured tugged upon something seemingly important. The child shuddered and cried, a wailing that seemed far more desperate than a normal infants wail, the color in his cheeks slowly dissipating. However, as feminine hands picked him up and rocked him the color returned in spades, the child laughing as if nothing had happened at all.
The face of the figure whom owned the ethereal hand grimaced, turning up into a scowl of both disgust and anger. The mother's eyes widened, she smiled, and suddenly collapsed.
¬ Genin-
"Why does he continue?"
The infant was older now, old enough to be called a ninja. It was the events of his first mission, and nothing had gone correct. A routine patrol mission had turned sour and enemy ninja had zoned in upon their group of nubile Genin. The mission leader - a Jounin was nowhere to be seen, most likely killed in action. As the two other Genin and the child sped through the forest misfortune was at every step. They tripped, smacked into things, and lost their footing at every turn. Not all of them made it back today, one of the Genin - the child's best friend perished due to a combination of misfortune and the ninja. Wracked with grief, the child took the third Genin into his arms, and together they wailed.
The figure smiled, but noticed something particular. The child was gritting his teeth and staring out into the distance, almost as it if was toward the figure.
¬ Chuunin -
"Why won't he suffer?"
A long head of hair blew in the wind as an older teenager peered over a cliff with binoculars in hand, a second ninja standing by. A scouting mission - all he had to do was give the signal. However, the flare didn't go off, his cohorts could never make a move until the flare was lit as it was the signal for attack. The enemy in the pass just under the cliff could if unabated continue forward, walking toward what would be an important convoy of supplies needed for his village. The teen's smile followed the grimace of a figure standing behind him. Standing, he assured the second ninja it would all be fine, though he wasn't sure if he himself believed it to be true. Bellowing with all his might the teen charged toward the individuals.
The shadowy figure's grimace followed him as he went, sowing the karma of misfortune.
¬ Jounin -
"Why does he persevere?"
Paper in hand, an older male's eyes widened while he stared at an official edict - he was promoted. Holding back what was going to become an emotional outburst - albeit a happy one, he walked back to older female before lifting her up and twirling her. The two laughed and celebrated, soon joined by others who he had come to know. The figure seemed to be getting smaller, the karma of misfortune shrinking with every laugh and smile. Eventually, the celebration died down and the night was beginning to end.
As the male stared off the side of a balcony, one hand draped over the side as he gazed into the city below, a tiny insignificant figure spoke.
"How do you persevere?"
"By remembering who has suffered due to me - you, and living for them. And for her. .", he said pointing back to an individual soundly sleeping, not turning his body while he did.
The figure's eyes widened before it grew smaller still, letting out a small squeek as it did. Turning around he reached out and picked up the figure, who now stood no bigger than an a kunai, before crushing it within his palm. A wispy sort of smoke rose from his palm, a malevolent face appearing in it before it dissipated into the wind.
"For them, I'll always persevere."
