To the Land of Grass, I go.

[Topic was created to catch up to Tenryu on a mission due to my absence.]

Exiting the forest after vigorous weeks of training, so it seemed Akibane had readed a certain stage where he wasn't allowed to increase in strength, speed, nor mentally. Maybe it was his own will to stop training and to go out in the world to attest his strength to no other but himself.

Note in hand which read...

Akibane -- I've left to pursue a Missing-Nin. She has moved for the Land of Fire. When you receive this, join me. I will leave signs as to my direction of travel. Make haste, brother, and come prepared.

It was only logical that his younger brother had to catch a ferry to the next location in which he needed to cross to get to the Land of Fire. This was the Land of Grass. Akibane wasted no time for he was way behind. But he would indeed catch up before the demise of this mission. Never were he punctual...

Dipping through the open space, at times he'd leap for double digit feet measurements, and or even blurred to a mere obsidian streak evaluating the speeds in which Akibane traveled. His current destination was the Mist Boat Village. Akibane had to get there to continue following the tracks of Tenryu.

Hours passed. Minutes blunk.

Ariving at the Mist Boat Village, Akibane would swiftly choose a boat. Situating himself within said vessel, he'd toss the owner a bag of money-- the amount needed to get him to his destination.

"You're on a mission right? You dress kind'a like the other guy who was here sometime ago. Keep your money. I'll take you there free of charge. I'm sure whomever you're hunting deserves to be caught..."

Akibane hadn't words, only a mask to hide behind which hid his facial expressions that said without words: Are you stupid? Fine then. Akibane nodded... gratefully? The boat set off. The waves of the sea were violent. Clouds stirried high above in the heavens of gray and black colorations. A storm was coming. Funny. Akibane never thought he'd die drowning. But if they didn't reach the shoreline in time, they both would die a wet death.

More hours passed...

Thunder echoed throughout the heavens, accompanied by very few droplets-- it began to drizzle. Luckily for the oceanic passengers, they made it to the Land of Fire.

"We're here... alive. That was very close right my, friend?"

Without words, Akibane was gone just before the sailor turned to face the Hunter. As if he were never there...

A sign?

Tenryu removed one of his shuriken, and placed a piece of his clothing on it, and stuck it to the ground, as a sign for Akibane to later follow.

Akibane kneeled down to inspect what was left behind. Without touching, he'd varify whom it belonged to with only sight and smell. The scent was of Tenryu's. Now it was was evident that he was present within the Dock Village. Thusly, Akibane would search the village for suspicious eyes. Sort of like the one who had driven the boat to his current location. Someone would recognize him for Akibane stood out like a sore thumb.

"Where have you gone, brother?"

He spoke to himself silently.

"So you're back again?" The old man was obviously confused, and almost instantly, Akibane knew the old man thought he was Tenryu due to their attire. Akibane stood there silently without gestures or even the slightest of movements. "I thought you went that'a way with the little girl? Is the little girl home safely?" The old man pointed in the direction; Akibane played along and pointed with him as if clarifying himself...

"Yeah, towards the fishing Village, if not, there." The old man turned to his elder wife for some backup as to prove he was right in a case he needn't do such. By the time he had turned around, once again, Akibane was gone as if he were never there. He was traversing through unknown territory within the direction of the Fishing Village. Should he get lost, he'd ask for more directions on the way.

Before beginning this treck, Tenryu used a Kunai to cut into the grass, and design an arrow pointing west, to the path that he took. This was a clue, to help lead Akibane in his direction when he finally arrived.

"Thanks, brother."

Akibane dashed off into the woods.

Swiftly making his way through the woods with ease, it was a matter of time before he'd stumble upon a carcass. Slowing his pace and shortening his strides to the point in which by the time he came a foot within range of said cadaver, he was at a complete halt. He'd examine the the slit throat. It wasn't doen by a kunai due to the marking it left. Also, Akibane noted how the cut was performed at an angle, and it was deep. Someone had thrown something... but from where? Such was easy to dictate. He'd look at the marking once again and picture where the projectile came from. Akibane was so skilled at this type of situation, that, if he were wrong, he'd only be off by a quarter mile. Which was nothing to a ninja.

He dashed off once again...
