It was definitely a strange day out in Kusa; random phenomenon seemed to happen constantly out here. Was it truly strange? Or was this the true nature of the people from Grass Country? Too bad his homeland was not the same. Ame was no such sanctuary; it was survival of the fittest under that ever constant blanket of rain. Such was evident by the sheer existence of Burakku .. Brutal lands bred brutal beasts and although he no longer ravaged through the jungles, the land of rain still played a part in his evolution. If they wanted to know truly, he'd go into detail about the encounter.
Was that a fox? Another phantom? A poacher? Then a dead fox, and then 10 sonic emitters mysteriously graced the Uchiha's inventory.
Inoryu: 017. You hear mumbling, and look to your left. Walking towards you is disheveled man mumbling about giant Hamsters, being the end of the world. A piece of Paper falls out of his pocket. Utahhikari-Satu: 025. What is this? Someone hung three flat-canisters in a tree. Maybe for later date? They contain oils. One canister says: ‘For the Beast’ the other says: ‘Against the Ugly’ and the third: ‘For the Dragon’. Sounds clear enough. — Beast Oil, Hybrid Oil, Draconid Oil
Inoryu listened intently as Itada told his tale by the fireside and was vastly intrigued. Inoryu had never considered going out into the jungle to tame a creature, especially one as powerful as the smilodon. However, he had used the jungle environment to train and have had quite a few encounters as an inexperienced genin. He began to share his own tale of a day out in the jungle when he had encountered a marble snake. It was truly a test of a genin to be out in the jungle alone, which he often undertook and on that day, he did well to resist its genjutsu and study the beast. He too had cast genjutsu on the snake, but not for taming it, solely as a means to study the creature.
Parts of his clothes nearest to the heat were dry so he turned them to place the more wet areas nearer to the flame. Inoryu had a feeling that Itada wouldn't benefit as much from his tale as he did upon learning how to tame a creature, but he hoped that he had something to gain from it. He was handed a grimoire by Satu and through a quick skim through its contents found it to be very valuable pertaining to genjutsu. "Wow, thank you Satu! I'll be sure to return it after I have studied it," he glanced over at Itada. It may be worthwhile to persuade Satu to allow Itada to borrow the grimoire as well. Either way, he felt a desire to share the grimoire with his fellow genjutsu practitioner.
Inoryu heard mumbling and a disheveled man mumbling about giant Hamsters, being the end of the world had approached. A piece of Paper falls out of his pocket as he passed and Inoryu picked it up to study the document. He understood that it was some recipe for enlarging creatures but couldn't grasp the process. Considering that Itada was the only one to have tamed a creature among them, Inoryu would hand him the recipe while saying, "If you want this, it is yours." Otherwise, he wouldn't know what to do with it, and may not be inspired to ever use the recipe.

Satu would sit contently by the fire listening to Itada tell of how he came to tame Barraku. It was quite the epic. Having felt his fill of the warmth Satu would again get up and begin walking around idly. He would notice a stocky tree and approach it. Three canisters hung from it placed by someone. "Strange, who would leave such valuable things?" Each canister was visibly marked and Satu had surmised that due the weathered appearance of them they had been forgotton. He would collect the three of them and return to fire. Satu would look to Itada and ask, "Could you use these Itada?"
He listened intently to Inoryu's tale as he told it. Having never encountered a marble snake or even heard of it, it would come as a lesson to know such a creature was able to cast genjutsu. Was it truly possible? If so, then perhaps it was time for the Uchiha to update his arsenal of beasts. Depending on just what the serpent was capable of would determine its' worth. Itada made a note to look into the animal once he returned home to the Rain Village. He would gladly accept the gifts from his comrades, taking the time to place all the items away neatly into his inventory, wondering just what he had to give in exchange. He could find a he for just about anything, but he did possess two Discourse Replicators, and offered one of them to Satu in exchange for his oils. As for Inoryu, he would come up with something.

008. Is that a senbon in your pocket, or are you happy to see me? Actually it's 57 senbon, how'd they get in your pocket? — x57 Senbon (Overview)
020. “The little flying destruction machine that could.” A little childish book mayhaps but it still stirs up feelings of nostalgia. You wonder who abandoned it here. — Book: Picture Book (Overview)
Inoryu was feeling a sense of serenity when a book flew at him from a sudden portal. Thanks to his art of throwing and cunning reflexes [Snatch Projectiles and Nameru, To Taste], he would catch the speeding book to prevent getting a bump on his forehead. Then he nimbly transitioned the book to his palm while turning his wrist to use its intertia to open it to a random page with a single hand [Ken Mai]. If anyone were paying attention, the display would reveal a variety of taijutsu forms that he was proficient with, making him to appear to be very responsive and extremely graceful. Skimming through the contents, he realized that it was a tome of experience. Thankful for his good fortune this day, he would place the tome on top of the grimoire in his bag with the rest of his stuff.

Satu would lay back with his arms behind his head and look up at the sky above Kusa. He was so content listening to the his friends regale each other with tails of the field. How he wanted his own creature one day. It was something he had never given thought to but it was definitely something he could see himself achieving one day for certain. Satu would turn on his side and feel a firm pressure against his thigh. "Ouch!" Satu would feel his pocket which was stuffed with more senbon. "How did these get here?!" His eyes would roll and he would place them in his pack he had on his person.
His mind raced with thoughts of items he coukd give to Inoryu in return for his gifts. Sadly, there was nothing currently on his person that would be worth any value to a ninja of his skill. A picture book suddenly appeared, but it was one for children, not one made for shinobi. He thought about items he possessed back home, and whether they would be of any use to the kusa ninja. At the moment, it was hard to think of something, but he would continue to ponder the subject the remainder of his time in the country of Grass.
"Sadly, I have nothing to give in return at the moment", Itada spoke, the expression of deep thought plastered firmly on his face.
023. A short man with a large beard walks up to you. "Here, it's not perfect but it's useful," he said handing you a 2-handed weapon before disappearing. — User's choice of 1 Masterwork 2-handed weapon.
025. What is this? Someone hung three flat-canisters in a tree. Maybe for later date? They contain oils. One canister says: ‘For the Beast’ the other says: ‘Against the Ugly’ and the third: ‘For the Dragon’. Sounds clear enough. — Beast Oil, Hybrid Oil, Draconid Oil
Inoryu observed a short man carrying a large, oversized weapon strapped to his back. As he watched, the man approached from the distance so that the weapon became more clear. It appeared to be a thick polearm strapped to his back, one that looked cumbersome and impractical. To his surprise, the man walked directly up to Inoryu and handed it to him and said, "Here, it's not perfect but it's useful." Inoryu took the weapon in his hands and upon closer inspection realized that it wasn't a polearm, but an oversized fan designed for warfare and martial arts. He opened it to reveal its full width and appreciated the refinement of his reflection in the metal. He closed it, secured it and placed it beside his clothes. "Today, fortune is smiling kindly on us," he said with resolve, "I am trusting Heaven now to guide me on my path. The fan I have now received makes me think that it will one day improve my skill with the wind release."

Satu would shine his halo about Inoryu's fan and it would refract the light into his eyes making him squint , "It truly is a remarkable piece of work Inoryu." Satu was very pleased with all the loot he nabbed during the day. Albeit an odd day to acquire so many things. Satu was thankful to have spent it in the company of his friends. He hoped the three of them could meet many more times like this. Well not specifically like this as the day had been littered with misadventure and uneventful mishaps leading to the exorbitant amount of things now in their respective possessions. Satu would again thank Inoryu for the amazing lunch he provided and thank Itada for letting him pet Barakku. The sun was beginning to meet its position to set in the eastern sky of Kusa no Kuni and the fire began to ember and crackle along with the dying of the natural light. Satu would dismiss his halos to better appreciate the ambiance of this serene natural production and give a feint sigh in awe of its beauty.
Subconsciously, Inoryu was having the same sentiments of Satu as he basked in the dim sky. When next he felt his clothes for wetness, he would realize they were completely dry. He dressed himself and felt the warmth of the fabric engulf his entire body. The day had been quite the adventure and he felt a deeper, kindling bond with his two friends. Like the embers whisking away from the fire, familiarity ignited. He stood up and strapped the oversized fan to his back and said, "It's about time that we returned to the village. Thank you for meeting with us today, Itada, it was a blast!" Inoryu weaved the hand seals bird, dragon, horse, ox, hare, serpent, bird, ram, and produced a storm mote. The violently spinning vortex was sized large enough to engulf the fire and within a brief moment, the fire was extinguished due to lack of oxygen. Left in its wake were two scorched logs. He picked up his large shoulder pack filled with a myriad of items accumulated. He would shake Itada's hand with a grin and say, "Safe travels friend," before starting in the direction of Kusagakure.
