Saint Souzen's Hospital
The main hospital of Amegakure is a stout tower, its walls made from pure while marble, although stained with years of rain and grime. Its form is rectangular and each of its four sides is riddled with small windows into each patients room. Along the back of the building, operating as something like a spine for it, is a wide elevator to take patients up to their floors.
Floors 8 to 10: The operation center takes the top three levels of the tower. Containing all the specialized machines, such as CATscans, X-ray machines, as well as all the operation training theaters. The eighth floor in particular is devoted entirely to operating rooms, containing at least two dozen fully stocked rooms, always ready should a ninja return damaged from a mission.
Floors 4 to 7: Its healing and resting center consists of floors 4 to 7 of the tower, where it is equipped to deal with patients still recovering from their injuries. The center of each floor is its doctors center, where there are meetings rooms, staff lounges and reception desks for them to work within. Along the sides of all the floors are the patients rooms, most are able to hold up to eight or ten patients at a time although there are some private rooms available too.
Floor 3: The third floor of the building is the childrens and maternity floor. Structurally it is the same as all the floors above it, the only difference is its function. The east side of this floor is devoted to the maternity ward, with birthing rooms and infant care centers along it's wall as well as a devoted nurse office. The west side is much like those for the healing and resting center, although it has been decorated in a way to make the stay there more pleasant for the resting children. Like the maternity side it also has it's own devoted nurse office.
Floor 2: The second floor is the guest floor, containing a restaurant, gift shop, a garden and some small apartments for the families of some patients to stay whilst their relative is recovering.
Lobby Floor: The bottom floor is the lobby, containing mostly the reception desk, several rows of waiting chairs and a few doctors offices. After entering the automatic from doors you will be in the waiting and GP room, where there is ample seating for both patients and relatives. Along the sides of this floor are the GP doctors, essentially performing 'family doctor' level medicine rather than emergancy medicine. In the center of the floor is the reception desk equipped with an intercom connecting it to all the nurse and doctor offices throughout the tower. Behind it is the stairway that leads up through the rest of the building.
Around the back of the floor is the emergency entrance, were drastically damaged shinobi and civilians are brought in on gurneys and taken straight into the elevators to the operation floors.
