Isamu was flying high in the air above his homeland. For his long flight Isamu had assumed the shape of a large bird. Several hundred feet up in the air he would be only a speck to the unaided eye on the ground. Underneath his sand feathers was his thermal enhanced katana cursed with metal concealment and Weight of the Earth as well as his shock enhanced melody arm.

Stowed around various parts of his body were the usual contents of his butt pack: 12 hira shurken, 5 wireless radios, his multitool, headlamp, both his compass and dungeoneers compass, a piece of flint, one holodisk, 3 gravitic pressure bandages, and five explosive seeker mines. Isamu's cloak was folded and sealed by sand to his back. In it's folds were 30 explosive kunai each sharp and deadly. The usual contents of his tactical vest were also tucked away about his form. These included 6 more kunai, 2 smoke grenades, a tear gas grenade, 40 each of locking tags, explosive tags, incendiary tags, and lightning tags, his copy of the BINGO Book, a gem of prescience, 1 dust of dryness, and his goggles.

Isamu had kept the form of his utility belt. In it he had stashed 5 magnetic emitters, 3 blood clot pills, 5 thermal capsules, 3 soldier pills, 2 sets of rigid manacles, 1 handheld inspection tools, 1 handheld surveillance monit
or, 4 surveillance spikes, 1 motion sensor, 1 tracking device, 10 tracers, his field cauterizer, and 3 sonic emitters. He also carried his maps of Chilon, Cleobulus, and Solon. Now he checked his compass to ensure he was still flying true towards River Country. Sure of his course he turned his eyes back to the long stretches of desert as they slowly turned grassland, and then to forest.

Now that he was in neutral airspace Isamu altered course to the North, following the great rivers that had given this country its name. As the night fell over the land beneath him Isamu landed in a grove of trees to rest for the night. The Genin strung his cloak above him to provide some shelter in the event of rain and fell into a light sleep.

Isamu departed before the first rays of sunlight broke the horizon. The Sadojin climbed high into the cold Spring air and the sun pierced through abating his hunger. Now Isamu followed the river to a familiar land. One that had frequented his nightmares and thoughts often in the last two years. Rain Country.

Now over Ame no Kuni Isamu reflected on the time he had spent in Amegakure, cleansing the Crimson Prison. He wondered about the three shinobi he had met there. Was Yoshinee still the Amekage? Amira had stepped down since then it was possible there was someone new behind those walls. He wondered too about Emi and Turin and if they were somewhere down below him now. All three he had known only briefly but they had been a part of one of his most formative experiences.

Isamu checked his compass and tracked back to the Northeast towards Hi no Kuni.

Isamu was nearing the meeting point but the day grew short. Isamu set himself down on the side of a massive lake and made camp for the night. The Sadojin woke at dawn but allowed himself an hour to soak in the morning suns rays. Isamu recited the message in his head once more before breaking down his camp. Isamu took his bearing by compass and returned to the skies watching the lake fade behind him in the distance. He was close now.

Isamu landed a half mile from the meeting point and did a final rundown of all of his equipment. The journey had not been as long or hard as his trek back to the village from Taki no Kuni several months ago. The techniques and archane chakra lore he had studied in the interim were already paying off. Satisfied he slipped beneath the earth and glided towards his destination.
