Many unassuming plebeians have found themselves born and residing in an unassuming village near the middle of the fire country. It may just be one of the most small and unassuming villages you've ever seen. There's no sinister fledgling plot developing among their unaware, unassuming eyes. SO, when a young, but perhaps wealthy and aristocratic Francelia Fialova decides to purchase an unassuming and abandoned property here, there are no assumptions to be made. Get it? UNASSUMING. I, Francelia, bought this property recently, and hired contractors to construct a superbly unassuming forge in the basement. Of course, being the cheapskate that I am, I negotiated their prices as low as I possibly could. Unassumingly of course.
I went about this as legally and unassumingly as possible. I paid the chief of the village for the stretch of land the cottage lies on, and even had my name registered in the village as a newly settled villager. In fact, as far as anyone is aware, the kindly and unassuming Franny is now a law abiding and contributing member of society. I pay my taxes and everything. An unassuming, tax paying, law-abiding citizen.
As you can see the cottage is about as unassuming as they come. Even to the untrained eye, the forge in the basement appears to be regular. An unassuming forge that happens to be of the finest quality.
Smithy, Perfected
Rank: "S"
Type: Main, Room, 3 Stronghold Space, Craftsman Room
Effect: A Crafting Room dedicated for all kinds of Blacksmithing/Metalworking.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Similar to the basic smithy, this area features a polished stone floor and marble-encased forge of the highest quality. Working in this smithy gives a character a +80 circumstance bonus on any Craft pertaining to Blacksmithing/Metalworking (Armour, Blacksmithing/Metalworking, etc.) checks. This area requires the services of a smith. There may be up to 6 people working in this area.
Limit: Must be created by a Construction Crafter.
Cost: 130,000 Ryo
Lava Forge
Rank: "S"
Type: Main, Room, 1 Stronghold Space, Craftsman Room
Effect: A specialized forge used to help people craft metal items.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: This room consists of the usual elements of a forge with the exception that all tools used are of masterwork quality. In the place of an ordinary forge is a lava forge. The lava forge draws up lava from deep underground, allowing blacksmiths to craft metal items and equipment more easily.
This appears to be an ordinary forge, except that the material within is molten rock as opposed to coals and fire. This allows blacksmiths to work metals at much higher temperatures, giving them greater control over their creations. The lava forge reduces the time required to make a metal item by +1 (Example: Base Crafting time is 1/3rd of item cost. This Forge improves crafting time by +1 making it 1/4 of item cost). This bonus is circumstance bonus. This forge may be accompanied by a Smithy Room.
Limit: Must be created by a Construction Crafter.
Cost: 95,000 Ryo
So to pay for this, I'm using part of the 1mil ryo for stronghold components I was rewarded from snow's advertising contest. Here's a link to where it went down. I should have 851,500 ryo left for strongholds after haggling [max roll with technical path III].
