Stone Replication
Rank: "C"
Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: User creates a clone of earth to control.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: ---
Description: Range of this technique is personal. Duration of this technique is 5 rounds per Class Level. This technique requires a small source of earth nearby. Using this technique, the user is able to create a replica of them with earth. This version looks and carries equipment similar to the user except it being made of earth. The user may create 2 clones +1 per Class Level. While the replications are not capable of sentient thought, they share a bond of sort that allows the user to communicate orders to their clones; the bond is only one way, though, and the clones cannot send orders, thoughts or images to the user. As such, the clones follow the user's instructions to the letter. A Stone Replication is its own person and if caught in a GenJutsu, only the replica will be affected, and not the user and/or the whole group of clone. The clones have 2 Armour Points per Class Level of the user, saves equal to that of the user -2. It may not have more than 2 movements per round. It does not benefit from any Temporary bonuses the user may currently have. A Stone Replication has a Bludgeoning Resistance 15 and takes 1/2 as much earth damage. A Stone Replication may not stray further than 1 mile from the user, although it if is not within 30 meters of the source it was created from, it suffers a -5 penalty skill checks. It cannot use any techniques at all, and carries the very same equipment as the user except chakra-dependent items such as exploding tags. Poison and mastercraft bonuses are not carried over to the clone's equipment. Lastly, it cannot normally perform any activities requiring particular attention, such as sensing chakra, setting off an exploding tag or carrying a serious conversation. Once the clone reaches 0 Armour Points, strays too far from another clone or the user or the duration expires, it disappears in a puff of smoke. While the user can freely replace any clones lost by using this technique more than once, the user cannot control a number greater of clone than the specified maximum. The user can also choose to dissipate a single clone (or more) of their choice rather than the whole group. The user also cannot control any other sort of clone while using this technique.
Limit: Must know Earth Release.

In the fields of Otogakure, Zan'ei found himself alone, as he had liked it. There had been a distant cawing at his back, but that did little to abate the work he set out to do here. With a goal in mind, the Genin sought to summon his chakra energies into his hands and produced seals. The affinity for earthen techniques resonated with the handseals he cast, and slowly, there began to rise from the ground a product of earth and chakra creation. This disfigured manifestation of Zan'ei's spiritual prowess began to mold steadily under his domain; carefully, there had been extremities growing; and the details of a cloak and other apparel. Had it not been for his smooth control over his chakra, the low ninja would have had a difficult time with creating a stone replication of himself.
There stood before him now an image of stone sharing his likeness. The physical characteristics of the clone matched Zan'ei's, yet its body and attire shared the same color of the earth. Taken by this -jutsu, the genin looked over it, studying its movements and distinction. He commanded the thing to move and it did so; he caused it to strike, and so it did with the arm and fist that it was ordered to; he ordered the clone to tackle a large tree near the perimeter of the training ground, and it did, but only to crumble into a pile of stone and then smoke as it disappeared. The durability of his technique was not impressive whatsoever and this made Zan'ei a little disappointed. He would then go back to square one and create another doppelganger, but this time, it was created with a twin.
With two stone replicas, Zan'ei was able to go a bit further and test his skill. Each clone had its own sort of consciousness, so he was able to control them separately. One punched the other; his twin would kick in riposte. Since they shared a similar level of durability, these attacks on one another meant little to nothing---it'd been only a test of reflexes and general ability. What he sought to test next was their lifespan based on their moving away from him. This had been an ideal technique for him to be learning, as it would increase his ability to feign and lure his enemy into a technique of the Nara ichizoku.
