Every village possesses a Hospital or Medical Clinic just like every town or city. Takigakure's Medical Clinic is located ten minutes south east from the Takikage Tower and five minutes away from The Cascading Waterfall Park. It is the second largest building in Takigakure no Sato and possesses more than two hundred and forty rooms including surgical theaters.
The building itself is brown in color, consisting of four stories covered with aligned windows measuring 1.5m high and 1m wide, with a 2m space between each window. Any Medical Shinobi registered within Takigakure as an active Genin minimum have free access to the hospital to train under medical experts as well as to heal the injured and treat the sick. There are also a large laboratory available for the Medical Ninjas, ranging from public morgues to dissected animals.
Medical supplies and tools are available for the Medics to operate, skills and patience is the only requirements that the hospital needs. Takigakure's Medical Director can also be contacted and found here.
As you enter the building, you will find yourself in the Lobby and waiting room. A large metal desk is in your direct line of sight. And a single receptionist is seated behind this desk. She is a young woman in her twenties who goes by the name Amanda. Patient information and inquires are all saved and answered here.
Any appointments are held through Amanda only. The elevators leading to the first, second, third and forth floors have restricted access, and only AnBu and Medical Ninja have their own clearance all within a simple ID card. If you are visiting, you are to ask one of those two members for clearance by providing your ID cards. If you are incapable of providing ID, you will not be able to move on to the next floors.
As you go up the elevators, you will find yourself in the surgical and recovery area. This is the floor where all the procedures take place. Medical Ninja are mostly stationed in this area and it is required that one must either remain silent or speak in a whisper or quiet voice at all times. This is because the Medical Ninja need to concentrate and on wrong move could seriously harm or kill the patients being treated. Minor wounds are also treated on this floor, but the room for that is located to your right and is the first door on your left. All other rooms are for surgical personnel only.
Everyone knows how boring a hospital as be. So the Takikage has ensured that besides the beds, there are a wide range of assorted entertainment units that are available for recovering patients. This is to ensure that that your stay at the hospital will be as enjoyable as possible. Visitors are allowed at any time, but one must check in with Amanda at the desk on the ground floor. This is to help keep track of who is in the Hospital.
Now, most hospitals are normally stationed for human patients only; but located on the second floor, one will find that this is the Animal Examination Ward. This floor is where all animal helpers will be examined and treated. Like the regular Ninja, there are some animals that assist them in their duties to help protect Takigakure. This ward consists of a number of examination rooms, surgical rooms, and private rooms for recovering animals. No cages are visible in this ward, however they will be used to contain animals who attempt to harm another animal of human. A total of four AnBU are stationed on this ward at all times, this is to ensure that the staff and visitors are safe at all times.
Like the surgical ward located on the floor below this ward, many medics are stationed in this area. And when visiting, either silence, low inside voices or whispers are permitted on the first and second floors. This is to help the Medical Ninja concentrate while they are performing serious procedures. Medical tools such as scalpels, syringes, and clamps are always available and each tool has been sterilized thoroughly to prevent infection. However, both wards do not use the same tools, there is another set of medical tools located on the first floor which are used for human patients only. The tools for humans only are not permitted on the second floor and the tools for animal patients are not permitted on the first floor. This is to prevent infection and diseases.
As every hospital, Takigakure Medical Clinic is in possession of a Laboratory and Morgue. The Laboratory takes up the entire left hand side of the third floor whereas the Morgue takes up the entire right hand side.
The laboratory is often used to do such things as blood testing, poison analysis, and medical diagnosis. The Lab however, does not always have all the required equipment on hand, and that outside assistance may be required. However, a small room inside the Lab contains numerous herbs that are stored in certain temperatures. This door must be closed at all times to prevent contamination. Ninja who do not possess medical abilities, patients or civilians are not permitted in the Laboratory at all.
The Morgue contains (PC) bodies from Takigakure who have died while in combat. Here the autopsies will take place and will be stored until the deceased family members come to collect their loved ones. Bodies from allied villages as well as enemies, rogue and Non-Ninja also have their own rooms, but a part time guard monitors this section of the morgue. Only the Medical Director of Takigakure has access to the Morgue.
The forth and final floor of the hospital is the staff room. This is where all Medical Shinobi and hospital staff come to for breaks and to discuss things. No one without medical knowledge, except for the Takikage, is aloud on this floor at all. This floor consists or tables, chairs, sofas, six showers/bathrooms, and three kitchens.
