The thread for the Doctor to make his Cryptography Encryption in without sacrificing a Roleplaying Thread or sacrificing the need to jump from Roleplay to Crafting while confusing people.

It was time for the Doctor to start creating his own mathematical ciphers. Over the years he had become extremely familiar with the Computer components as well as the encryption components. He slowly poured his heart and mind into the art of encryption. This would be the basis of all of the Doctor's mechanical components. He found himself in the cave as he began typing out the program, making the cipher while backtracking in how to create a cipher.

The Doctor was creating something much more complicated than the simplistic first encounter of a cipher. The first known ciphers were created centuries earlier where one would take the letter of the their language and replace it with another letter. Without the cipher, it would be difficult to come up with the code. However as time passed more complicated ciphers were inducted, such as using multiple languages, as well as using the same letter in multiple ways.

The Doctor was slowly designing an intricate enecrlyption key that could be placed in all of his radios, and even on the Village radios. He needed something that encrypted and decrypted the messages he or anyone was sending through. He also was creating an algorithm that allowed the Doctor to alter the encryption just in case someone got a hold of a radio. He did not need other people tapping into his own radio waves.

Since the Doctor was using radio waves to access his computers, as well as other radio accesses he needed something more complicated than a symmetric cipher. A symetric cipher was a key that encrypted plaintext from a space of possible messages. He looked into encoding schemes which took a string of zeros and ones and encoded them into letters going back and forth. This was needed to be done in real time though.

The Doctor was using three separate languages in the creation of this encryption. Even though he mastered seven different languages, a few of them were not applicable to coding. For the meantime the Doctor was using sylvan, hammertongue, ruathlek, and shadowtongue. He was creating a complicated stream cipher. This would be the catalyst to transmit from station to station as he began employing ways of creating these stations.

After he finishes this he would create a block cipher that would work in existent with the stream cipher. The block cipher would allow the Doctor to access the computer systems he was already creating. There would be two computer systems he was working on. The first was his personal one which would hold all the information he was willing to access just for himself. The other was for Waterfall with some minor differences. He needed to make an access point.

There was an art when it came to creating a mathematical encryption. With the one the Doctor was working on he had to make something bendable for his own personal needs but at the same time he needed to make it difficult to bypass from others. He continued to work plugging the holes and altering the consistencies that could normally be used to make an inference in how the code could work. The Doctor continued to work diligently.

Since radio towers and radio waves was somewhat of a insecure network he had to create an encryption scheme to solve the problem with securing his communications. There was at one point where the Doctor triangulated the signals of a Waterfall Ninja to gain her location. Of course this was the start in how he became Kage but that is a different story. Right now the Doctor was doing something to improve his work, and the work of others.

He was working on something called a Digital signature which was used to solve a unique problem. It is similar to that of pen-and-ink signatures on a physical document. With this cipher, and with this encryption the Doctor would have to have multiple people use the same system, or same network. The problem a digital signature would solve would be as followed. A genin has a digital document, or a computer file.

This genin wants to apply additional information on this document that proves that the genin approved of the document. So, the Genin would apply a digital signature to the profile as if it was a physical form documentation. In essense it would be as if the genin had their own encryption key, their own pass code to access specific information, or apply specific information. This would have to be used in conjunction with the Doctor's security.
