Alternative Method to Train

Let's be honest. Training sucks. Maybe for most of you it has kinda become normal. To be honest, it never has for me. I'd guess I've trained under 3,000 TP in my time here, and I'm no slouch. I've gone out of my way to stockpile training points from not training. I'd rather engage with stories, and training isn't really a great way to do that. I've written a lot of metaphorical hogwash when I'd rather write active tales of my creations living fascinating lives.
Let's do some quick math. On Y I had 263 techniques at my last revamp and 35 skills.. I'm by no means one of the strongest people on this forum, either.
If, for each of these, I posted all the training pre-typed, with no interaction, I'd be waiting for 298 grades, at least. Given that it often now takes about a day to get a grade, let alone get back in and write another post, it would take 298 days of waiting around for training. Not writing. Not developing my character. Waiting. For this reason, many people prefer to train in private threads to speed things up, but the result is less interaction, less time spent on what people enjoy. Further, for every technique learned, one must update their TP count, as well as their bio. Hypothetically one can wait for this, but I find it get's messy to do so.
On the other hand, grading long training sequences can already suck for staff. We have to go through a lot of posts, read them, come up with a grade, et cetera.
I believe, to get new players to stick around, we must make the necessary grunt-work of training less unpleasant, and more narrative-focused. For this reason, I propose a new system be inserted into the Player's Handbook
Training Sequences
Rather than train a single technique at a time, a character may decide to focus on a training regimen that includes a number of different techniques. To do this, a player must declare in advance that they are doing so. A player may only do one training sequence at a time, and may not do regular training while they are in the middle of one. A player may no start a new training sequence until staff has graded their previous one.
A training sequence is composed of a number of techniques that are listed up front, and costs an amount of TP equal to the total of what those techniques would cost to learn. (For example, a user might do a training sequence about the Lightning Release, where they learn 10 "D" Rank Techniques. This would sequence would 'cost' 100 TP.) Further, these techniques may depend upon each other for requirements. As long as all the techniques will have their requirements fulfilled when the sequence is complete, they may be trained at once.
A user may then make training posts towards this sequence as a whole, where they tell the story of how their character acquired this broad set of skills. (For Example, in one post of the above mentioned sequence, a character might attempt to train to Lightning Ball, and in the process of failing, notice that their misshapen creation resembles a bird, and therefore learn something about Lightning Raven).
Each post a user makes towards a training sequence, rather than include the jutsu they are training, they would provide the name of training sequence, and the number of points they are attempting to earn towards it. A user may use posts in missions, events or interactions towards these training sequences. They must, however, keep in mind that their posts must fulfill both the original purpose as well as the purpose of showing training
When they are done with the sequence, they will post again in the thread where they declared their training sequence, with a link to any posts or threads where they worked on this training sequence (if they are outside of this thread). Staff will then read through these posts, and provide a grade for the whole sequence. If they have earned enough points to complete the sequence, they may add all the techniques to their bio. Otherwise, they must continue training, and may not add any of the techniques to their bio.
If a player writes a particularly exciting or long training sequence, staff might offer to use it as a launching off point for a mission or adventure.
