When an explosive tag is detonated remotely, a user tends to use the "Snake" handseal (Uses "E" Rank Chakra and Jutsu Handeals to perform). Similarly, when used remotely, explosive tags can be detonated in sequence, allowing them to be used to trap opponents. When Purchasing: Must designate the type of Explosive (Force, Fire, Cold, Sonic, Lightning, Acid, Negative, or Radiant). All Explosive Tags have a Glyph of Warding equal to Advanced Mastery in Warding Ritual Skill (Base Damage equals to 36 Armour Points of Damage). Must designate a password (if applicable), or exception (if applicable). Please look at Glyph of Warding for more information. Stronger Explosive Tags are created by Playable Characters who know the Glyph of Warding Ritual.

Apparel
Cloak
Rank: "C"
Type: Main, Slot Holder, 0 Slots, Clothing
Effect: Cloaks are hooded outerwear that tend to cover most other clothing and are open at the front.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: A cloak is a type of loose garment that is worn over indoor clothing. It protects the wearer from the cold, rain or wind for example, or it may form part of a fashionable outfit or uniform. Cloaks have been used by myriad historic societies; many climates favor wearing a full-body garment which is easily removed and does not constrain the wearer with sleeves. Over time cloak designs have been changed to match fashion and available textiles. Cloaks generally fasten at the neck or over the shoulder, vary in length, from hip all the way down to the ankle, mid-calf being the normal length. They may have an attached hood, and may cover and fasten down the front, in which case they have holes or slits for the hands to pass through. However, cloaks are almost always sleeveless. Cloaks give a +10 to Sleight of Hand when worn. Cloaks can have special straps stitched in place, allowing the Cloak to stay fluid and not be bogged down. 1 Cloak may have up to 10 of these Straps. Each Strap may have up to 5 Half Pouches stitched in to keep objects inside.
Limit: These type of items may be bought inside any Tailor Shop.
Cost: 1,000 Ryo Each.
- Cloak, Battle
Rank: ""
Type: Main, Slot Holder, 0 Slots, Clothing
Effect: A special cloak that is treated as a shield.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: This exotic shield is not a shield in the typical sense, but rather a special cloak that can be used to foil an opponent's attacks. The user cannot use a battle cloak to make a shield bash attack, but a user can use it to make a disarm attempt. When used in combat, a battle cloak occupies a hand just as a light shield does, allowing the user to carry other items in that hand but not wield a weapon with it. Because the battle cloak is considered as a light shield it has the shield bonus of light shield, however this bonus deflects attacks instead of blocking them. Battle cloaks are retrieved and readied just like other shields.
Cost: 5,000 Ryo Each.
Character Depth
Personality
Charming and witty combined with his overconfidence and tactlessness often has him ignoring the mood of the room and creating his own. A conversation with him can often skip over the more overwhelming details in favour of the more minute aspects that interest him. There are only two scenarios where Batal is not speaking, and those are when he is asleep, or eating, both of which he does as much as possible. Even in the heat of battle he often cannot bring himself to keep his mouth closed, as there is always a nagging voice in the back of his mind saying that this person can go from being an enemy to a friend with the right words. Though a certain amount of his charm is maintained by a cheeky smile and dashing good looks, he prides himself of being an articulate empath that many of his ilk do not achieve.
Tactless and often found with his foot in his mouth, when you talk as much as Batal does, this is often how you are perceived. The weight of certain conversations is simply too much for the Airontoku sometimes, who prefers situations with more levity, and often cannot help himself from turning what should be a more serious discussion into something bordering on farcical. It is not to say he cannot be serious, just that his knack for breaking tense moments seems to come hand in hand with his ability to spoil special moments. A double-edged sword in this regard. Though many of his brethren would certainly be described as tactless, that thoughtlessness tends to spawn from a lack of caring where Batal is simply awkward in the face of overwhelming issues, and prefers to ignore them.
Fearless and always ready to fight, Batal has always dreamed of becoming a powerful warrior who can defend his clan from the many evils that wish to destroy it. Whenever a challenge is raised against him, he answers the call with haste and excitement. His confidence is endless in all aspects of his life, from social situations to combat. Growing up raised in the military, he has eaten some questionable things, and the older he got, the more it became a competition between the soldiers. On the battlefield, he is unquestionably fierce, wielding his massive weapon like a mad man, ready for any who oppose him.
Outspoken and loud, Batal can sometimes steamroll his way into a conversation and take over with his rather outlandish ideas. Impulsive to a fault, he will often be inspired by others and jump into the conversation with passion. When people disagree with him, he can get heated, enjoying the idea of being challenged. Though not unintelligent, he often acts and speaks before thinking, which often leads to his downfall. With his size and loud presence, he is naturally the center of attention as it is, on top of the fact that he is more than willing to jump into conversation with anyone nearby, he can be overbearing for most people.
Protective and loyal to a fault, there is no one in his close circle of confidents that will come to harm when Batal is around. Anyone who he believes needs help will be aided, regardless of the consequences should he see fit to fight for their cause. Though his clan is comprised of people who often do not need any assistance, as they are a hardy people who are trained from birth, his stature and power give him an innate desire to guard those around him. Though he is typically not one to care for possessions, he is fiercely protective of his Sword εξουσία that he received from his parents before they died; it is a reminder of his lineage and his parents own vows to protect the Iron Citadel and everyone inside of it.
Goofy and a bit naïve, Batal often suffered through his education and military service because of his inability to seemingly take things seriously, especially when it came to things he was supposed to suffer through. Often, his superiors would instill extra punishment on the youth, who would only take it as a challenge to grow stronger, and would approach it with the same exuberance as he approached everything else in life. He can find the humor in any situation, which, when combined with his endless lack of tact, has often resulted in less than desirable outcomes for all involved.

Tall, Dark & Handsome are a combination of words Batal will often use to describe himself, whether or not the situation warrants it or not. Objectively, those words all describe him individually. Tall is the most obvious one, as he stands at Seven feet tall, and while he isn't the tallest man to walk the earth, he does tower over most of his friends, which earned him the nickname 'Titan', which he may or may not have started. With his dark hair and bronzed skin, dark is an epithet he uses in the broadest of terms to describe his general features. Handsome is technically true, though his good looks don't protect him from his stupid mouth. Still though, with symmetrical features, high cheek bones, a sharp, defined jaw, bronzed skin, deep red eyes and a cool cross shaped scar on his left cheek, he passes the bar for handsome.
Athletic and powerful, his body is a finely tuned machine for combat. Raised in the Iron Citadel as he was, and being an orphan who was placed into the military complex at an early age, Batal is no stranger to hard physical labour and a consistent training schedule. The large weapon he carries on his back is a significant weight, and carrying it around all day on its own is enough of a workout, but he goes even further by practicing katas with it multiple times a day, brandishing it around as though it were a simple longsword. At any opportunity, he will start doing squats, with the excuse that it simply a good way for him to keep focus, and to keep his blood circulating around his body. Though his diet is inconsistent, it is primarily protein, and with all the exercise he gets, his body is in remarkably good shape.
Relaxed and laid back at most times, he carries himself as though he had never even heard of the military, or that he doesn't have an enormous killing weapon on his back. When he isn't doing squats to try and get the blood moving through his brain, he's leaning against walls, his sword, tables, whatever is tall enough for him to get his elbows on. Though he can switch to combat at the drop of a hat, his bodies natural position is a slouch.
Practical clothing is a must do for someone who spends as much time as he does sweating or rolling in the dirt after getting his ass kicked. He is topless most of the time, revealing his powerful frame, strange tattoos, and many, many scars. His black shorts reach past his knees, but he rolls them up enough to prevent them from catching when he is moving around, the material is thick and fire resistant, as an Airontoku, that is just about the most sensible thing he can do. The belt that is supposed to be keeping his shorts up is a bright orange material, fastened with a silver buckle with a red 'A' emblazoned on it, though realistically, he only buckles it up when challenged by his superiors about looking presentable. His boots are black and heavy, toed with steel so prevent any nasty accidents when sparring or carrying heavy things. Finally, around his neck, some prayer beads, a holdover from his religious mother, and an orange cowboy hat, upon which sit another set of his mothers prayer beads, and a pair of roughly crafted goggles he wears during the dust storms that can pick up in the area around the Citadel.

Born in the Iron Citadel, Batal belongs to the Airontoku bloodline, and given the fact that his parents were killed at a very early age, he belongs to the Airontoku military itself. Stripped of his familial name, he was raised with the other orphans of the state to fight and die for the Iron Citadel. The education began when the children were old enough to walk. On top of standard education provided by the teachers, the orphans were subjected to near torturous levels of physical training daily, all of which was meant to raise the finest soldiers. The impact of this rigorous training had more impact on some than it did on others, and there were many from his childhood that did not live to see the completion of the training, whether by their own hand or through others. Even as a child, Batal seemed to tower over the others, often being mistaken for one of the older kids, and being dragged through training well beyond his level. He never complained about these instances though, reveling in the challenge, quickly outpacing many of the other children his age.
His first concrete memory was being beaten repeatedly for not waking up on time, though the finer details of it are a little fuzzy. Five years of age, already as tall as some as the ten year olds in the bunkhouse, and he was passed out, dead to the world, one leg hanging from his bunk, snoring loudly. The officer in charge of his quarter was unimpressed that the young orphan had managed to sleep through the wake up call, and the sound of all of his comrades getting prepared for the day. The officer had ordered his two bunkmates to restrain him, while he chose the largest members of the quarter to beat the sleeping Airontoku awake. In a rage, he managed to tear his hands free and proceed to flail with reckless abandon to attempt to prevent the beating. He did not manage. Bloodied and bruised, he was told to crawl over to the medical quad to get fixed up, and that if he did not report to training before the end, he could expect another beating, and this one he would not be crawling away from. Batal did not even balk at the cruelty of the event, he simply took the challenge, crawled across the Citadel, got healing from the medical unit, and reported to the training.
Perhaps that beating gave him some sort of brain damage, as it would be the first of many over his military career, and each time, he simply redoubled his passion for combat, and efforts to rebuke the beatings. Often, his overseeing officers would make things more difficult for him simply for the fact that he was louder and more obnoxious than most of the soldiers, which painted a target on his large, stupid back. From five onward, it was an uphill battle for him to survive task after task that was meant to either kill or maim him, and even when he managed to succeed on those tasks, he was often told he did a poor job. In all fairness, he usually did, but the job was done nonetheless. The only upside to his brazen attitude was the fact that he made friends easily with everyone who was not considered a superior at least. He made easy friends with the people outside of the military as well, and especially with those in the medical facilities, as he spent more time with them than with anyone else. Even as a child, his rambunctious attitude and cheeky quipping often got him what he needed, which at this time, was usually medical attention.
He suffered through the training, earning begrudging respect as he went, as the Airontoku are a clan that respect power, and thankfully through his bloodline, Batal was gifted with innate strength that garnered him respect. Though he never made waves or impressed the right people, he was often brought in for projects where more brawn was required than brains, which was his specialty. It's not to say that he was too stupid for sensitive operations, just simply that his skill set was more appropriate for louder, more explosive projects. Though there were many in the military who possessed ninjutsu abilities, the Titan was not one of those kind of soldiers, relying nearly solely on his strength, and occasionally some explosive tags. Though he was happy living within the walls of the Citadel and working for the Airontoku military, adventuring called to him, and as such, he requested leave, to discover more about the world, and to learn more about himself and his abilities.
