"Tara, thank you for your help those times. But now I'm going to fight my own battles. We werent able to save Mara, were we? Fall back, if you get in my eyesight.."
The words sent shivers instantly down her side. Tara watched as Shinpachi's eyes began to change a different color, forcing her to wonder who this really was. She could feel the aura that eminated around this man and something told her that he was definatly not someone that should be messed with. The words that he had spoken, too, made her curious. The only person she could think of who would still have memories of Mara would have been Etsuko Shiro, but that wasn't the man before her... was it? Shiro had had no bloodlimit ability and this man was styled completly different, yet every detail about him screamed familiarity. When it became clear that Shinpachi's target was the Takikage, Tara decided to back down, instead moving towards the trees. She didn't know what his eyesight would do to her, and she didn't want to know.
It was then that Tara noticed the boy, Uchiha Sakio, near the tree. He was bound and gagged, yet his eyes were wandering to and fro, trying to pick up what was happening here. Tara immediately moved to help the child until she saw the missing nin headband, the slash through the country that damned him from recieving her aid. Running rapidly towards the direction she had come from, Tara decided that she would, instead, start working on putting out the fires.
Her Mizu Bunshin all melted into the ground, leaving little puddles in the ground. Forming a few handseals, Tara released her chakra into the atmosphere, grabbing the water that had now formed on the ground and lifting it through the air in her direction. It moved rapidly, hopefully with enough speed to be out of range when Shinpachi and Seta began their fight; although, Tara felt in her heart that Shinpachi was going to be the victor. She came to a stop, her feet skidding through the soft dirt, before shouting to Shinpachi, "Please don't kill him. I don't know what's going on, but I can tell you that that isn't really Takikage-sama. Something's happened to him, and he doesn't deserve to die, no matter what."
Without waiting to see if Shinpachi would reply, she was out of the area, the water she had grabbed from the ground trailing behind her. She landed back in the area of the village, seeing people still standing around, milling in confusion, the fires still blazing in buildings and trees. Tara shouted, "Everyone who isn't doing something, please get water from your wells and bring them to me." Her water landed with a splash in front of her and Tara began another rapid string of handseals; from the large puddle of water on the ground, a geyser of water exploded upwards, almost twenty feet in height, beginning to spray the area with water.
Tara then performed some more handseals and the water rushing upwards began to spread outwards, at first in tiny sprinkles but then in the form of continually falling rain. The water from the geyser kept springing up, and then moved around with Tara's Ochiru Ame technique. She could only handle putting out this small area for right now, and the villagers homes were desperately more important at the moment than the rest of the area. The art of creating so much water and controlling it was taxing on Tara, who had only truly recently began mastering the art of converting the hydrogen and oxygen in the air into water, but she persevered, water falling from the sky in an increased pace as more and more water began to become available to Tara.
Knowing that this was about the extent of what she could do, Tara continued to bring Falling Rain upon the villagers homes and buildings, watching as the fires slowly began to dwindle in strength and heat.
