Personality:
Arieru is a rather cocky individual with little respect for the higher ranks and equal respect toward the lesser. He feels that his superiors are no more than he is and should not be treated any different from anybody else that bears the privilege of life. He despises those who are as arrogant as himself and has no sympathy for anything. He does, however, mask his stone heart when in need of others. He knows how and when to use others for what, which gives him an advantage during important missions. Despite his selfish ways, he is very fair and open-minded to those he believes may be able to help him. He is least often inconsiderate toward others due to the fact that he may need them in latter times. He is a victim of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) as well as Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). He believes his soul is a supernatural entity that once ruled before and it is his duty to stop everyone’s suffering by ending the world. Meanwhile, the intelligent Arieru also labels himself as a misguided lunatic. In battle he has proven himself to be an excellent tactician and an even better analyst. Arieru's character is an immortal that lives for eternal pain and suffering, giving him the image of a martyr, but not a pacifist. He hates the fact that he is near double the age of those students in his graduating year because he is also very mature for his age.
Appearance:
At first sight of Arieru, one can see a nearly flawless young creature of medium peanut butter skin and long, slightly coarse sand clolored hair similar to that of a lion's mane ending a bit below his shoulder blades. His level-pointed nose also compliments that of a lion with its small nares and widened nostrils. A set of troll like ears lined with sandy hair sit upon a strong muscular jaw line in which is displayed with a thin curtain of facial hair leading down to a point on his round chin. His eyes still narrow and deep; his pupils bearing a unique chocolate jelly color. His lashes shine long and curly, as do his naturally arched brows dark and deep. Having been built very muscular, especially the legs, ankles/Achilles, forehand and entire area between mid-back and upper-ear base, Arieru's posture lacks straightness.
Judging from the second glance you become aware of his small, golden ringed earrings. You begin to notice the golden tribal markings which devour the whole left side of his chest, shoulder and torso, excluding his arm and the red heart below his left breast plate in which it surrounds. Then behind him the gold tribal markings feed upon his left side untill a large skull with one set of left-bound seraphim wings stare about its one-hundred-eighty degree vision. Aside from his mysterious body markings, his palms and feet appear to be heavy.
Viewing Arieru in your mind for the third time, you begin to wonder in detail. His nails resemble claws; thick and rounded upon their edges up unto common points. His teeth are white as heaven except for the red pointed ends of his oversized canines.
His primary attire consists of several distinctly fabricated pieces. He wears a translucent color changing body suit in which resembles a chameleon turtle-necked swimsuit. Depending on the amount of light it recieves, this garment's color can range from Arieru's skin color to a midnight-navy color. The neck is capable of being pulled up over the nose as a frontal facemask. This piece is both waterproof and flameproof, and allows him to naturally blend in with both night and the shadows. The only things essentially as close to his skin as his suit are the short navy bicep lace tied onto his bicep and his sweat. Layered upon his body suit are a set of breastplates that courteously cover the rib cage, but are crafted around the abdomine. This upper armor is complete with a pair of matching knee pads forged into his lower clothing layer, as they both are elegantly marked with countless angled slits. His entire clothing-layer is nothing more than the previously mentioned, a baggy pair of navy hakama with two very large hidden pockets, a matching obi tied in a small bow, a pair of matching kyahan and finned tekkou, and a pair of waterproof foam waraji. He also wears a pair of cestus which completely blend in with his tekkou. The last major component of Arieru's wardrobe is the nicely fit foul protector he wears over his hakama for both groin and rectal safety.
Rather in casual times, he touches up with a small sleeveless combat vest (the folden red collar high as his the nape of his neck),a pair of designer hakama with white leggings and a pair of yotabi. He also keeps a padded half helmet, his sake and his pair of cestus.
After a close examination, one can only help but think of how uncommon a person (Arieru) could be. Arieru appears roughly four years younger than he actually is even with his facial hair (chin curtain). The more detail taken into consideration, the more Ryau Zega takes the tone of a traditional ninja-lion anthromorphism.

History: Arieru was born on the border of both Bear and Bird Countries on the closest cliff toward Wind Country. Fortunate enough for his parents to have been former ninja for Hoshigakure, Arieru had been taught how to defend himself at an early age. His also loving parents made sure he had everything he had ever wanted. He had been home-schooled their in the mountains by the two of them with the help of his maternal grandfather and every so often when they came for long visits, others on his mother's side of the family too. He lived the perfect life, he and his happy family, up until the age of three. At the age of three, Arieru longed for a younger brother. He had been lonely with himself and needed someone to take under his wing; someone to play with. His parents, surprised at his request, couldn't guarantee his satisfaction at the time.
Months passed and passed more, the young lad persistent with his request. Then one day his mother went into the hospital. His father told him that she had been pregnant then. Happy as could be, his eagerness overwhelmed him. Nearly a week later his mother had come home and said that she lost the baby. Another series of months went along when the young boy's mother's stomach began to swell -this time. Arieru's face had never been lit so bright ever when he heard that a baby boy was on the way for sure this time around. They would then get back to their perfect life on the cliff top, even though Arieru's mother was restricted from many things.
Five months followed when Arieru's mother barely woke up one day. Looking over to the other side of the bed where the agonizing whispers had crawled out from, Arieru's father could see death in her eyes. Arieru, too young to fit the pieces together, stare at his mother paralyzed in shock. In the least amount of time possible, the man rushed his wife to the medics. That day Arieru had been left under his aunt's supervision. Upon the father's lone return, hundreds of questions filled the air. His father, too exhausted emotionally, mentally and physically, went straight to his room and collapsed on the half naked water bed. Arieru depressed lay sit against a wall and cry himself to sleep.
The two live in prayer for a week before the father is called in by the medics. Arieru is left once again. This time, he practices his fighting skills and studies to burn time. Hours later, the father comes back with a small baby in his hands. The baby is taken to a special room in the house and kept there for the rest of the day. Arieru continues his study until he falls asleep. Waking up the next day to his father taking care of the baby, Arieru is able to see his younger brother for the first time. Satisfied with his new family member and dissatisfied with his old family member, Arieru continues his days studying. His motive was "because mommy wanted it."
A full month went by this way before "mommy" returned home from the hospital by her self. The family was now happy again, but that didn't stop Arieru from studying. Arieru would practice and study on a near-daily basis for four full years and a couple months. This included when his grandfather died of brain disease and his grandmother died of lung disease. Then his aunts and everyone else moved away.
Ever so busy with his younger sibling, his parents gradually stopped home-schooling Arieru. He later grew rebellious and resentful of his younger brother. His anger then became his inspiration to study; to learn. He would eventually bite up the nerve to test his mother's authority. He grew stronger every time he was disciplined by both she and his father, until he had become immune to the pain. He grew to himself and began to live within his own imagination where he could create a world of his own; where everything was granted to him. He would argue with the smaller one to relieve his anger and had often been punished for it.
Over the years, he did this up until the point his anger and jealousy; his hate and resentment could no longer be restrained within. He would learn how to use his skills, knowledge and advantages in the worst ways imaginable. He would torment small animals and insects. He began to play with fire. He grew more and more sadistic inside his little head and his parents wouldn't know any of this because they were so busy trying to care for the other child that they had forgotten about Arieru. Arieru would miss meals because of them and their ignorance just like he had almost missed his education.
Upon reaching his personal long-term goal of his four year study, Arieru thought he'd take a break from study and focus more on gaining combat experience. With his family and several animal families being the only specimens for a long ways, Arieru began his training. After living rebellious toward his them for three years, he would achieve a docile, however, nonchalant attitude in his pre-teenage years. This attitude would get him attention in the household as well as anywhere else his story was told.
His parents hated the fact that he could laugh in the brink of being yelled at or that he could remain emotionless and blank in the heat of an abusive argument. Perhaps only he knew that it was an act of course, for it would take even more time to master the art of completely not caring without being stupid and losing opportunities. He would be damned before he hinted anything they could use against him to change his attitude or punish him anymore.
A year went by without him giving the slightest sign of doing anything bad and to mask his true colors, he had developed a decent relationship with his brother and father. He would manipulate them to gain the upper hand every time he wanted something or disagreed with his mother and she would give in every time faithfully. After a couple years, his mother would become jealous of their relationship and change her ways to get on Arieru’s good side too. Arieru could now manipulate his entire family at the age of fourteen years.
Over the next year, Arieru became bored manipulating his family and began to roam the mountains. One day, he came across a lion family. Amazed at how they interacted amongst each other, he would return to that same spot to watch them everyday. Within due time the small cubs become adults. By this time, Arieru is fifteen and has become very familiar with the borderline mountains. He then grew bored of watching the lions everyday and went back to studying after one of the cubs had been killed by a bear. It would take two more years of regular study before Arieru began to feel as if he weren’t learning anymore. Also antisocial towards his family, he would center the world on himself. He then started back going to the spot where he had watched the lion cubs grow into adulthood. Luckily, they still lived there; minus the cub that had been killed. He had still remembered that day.
One day, Arieru is caught trespassing in the lion’s territory by the father. Upon the father attacking Arieru, the young man blacks out and they go tumbling off of the grassy cliff. Lucky enough to have lived already, Arieru wakes on top the dead lion. Knowing not of what had happened nor his location, Arieru roams through the mountains labyrinth for a week. Just when Arieru reaches home, he blacks out once more.
Waking up standing over his brother’s carcass in a puddle of blood, he undergoes another blackout. Then, waking again with his father dashing toward him, he quickly form the rabbit handseal, and hovers backwards across the floor and through the door to the outside. As his back touches the door, his furious father throws several shuriken when he jumps into the air. Then swaying around the side of the front door and over the top of the small cabin to the other side, Arieru tackles his father as he comes out of the door. Flying off of the cliff, Arieru’s father vanishes into the dark fog below. Dropping to the ground, Arieru rushes back into the cabin to see his mother sitting in a rocking chair staring straight ahead in some type of shock or trance. Arieru, not knowing the cause, calls out to her several times before unknowingly grabbing her by her neck and shaking her. Partially blacking out in anger, Arieru’s sight loses color with him choking his mother.
Waking up in his bed this time, Arieru believes it was a bad dream and goes off into the cliffs. Just then a voice tells him if he cooperates he won’t blackout anymore. It then tells him to eat a handful of the grass ahead of him sprouting from the mountain rock. After, he follows the directions that the voice gives him and within several days he finds himself at the entrance of Wind Capital City. After settling himself on the streets of the busy city, he engages into conversation with a mysterious man, not much older than he is, in a clothing store wearing a turban. After being lectured on increasing one's social status on the ladder of heirarchy, Arieru convinces the man to help him become more successful. The man encourages Arieru to enroll in the shinobi academy after discussing the clothing in which the young boy had been buying. He is later introduced to Sunagakure No Sato. There he was introduced to alchohol and now takes pride in getting drunk every so often. In addition to becoming a somewhat heavy drinker, Arieru gets two pair of Orpheus Fangs implanted in his mouth by Legendary Iryonin, Kamyuja Jenzo.
