Rebuilding the wall mission.

Description: Part of the East Wall has grown old, and has several cracks in it. A section of it collapsed killing several citizens in the village.

Kinzoku finally made it to the site where the wall had been damaged. Looking out upon the wreckage, Kinzoku saw the foremen of the team standing there waving his arms with directions. He appeared to be working really hard…Kinz knew his arrival would bring a releaved smile to the mans face.

Approaching the foremen, Kinzoku shouted a quick hello, “Oi, Foremen, I have arrived to help.” A smile crept across his face, and he seemed to be snickering. Kinzoku took it as a giggle of relief. The foremen quickly realized he was serious, and with a throat clearing breath, the foremen set him to work….washing the dishes of the other workers.

Kinzoku sat there scrubbing with a look of indignation upon his face. He was a darn ninja. Who was this moron to make him scrub pots? Kinzoku continued doing it however. He didn’t want to blow this mission. Kinz was barely containing his anger though. Hopefully he would get a chance to prove himself and actually do something usefull.

As Kinzoku sat there cleaning, the other workers worked. They began destroying big debris and then hauling away little debris. It was a very well run project….and Kinz wasn’t even helping. A small frown crossed Kinz face for the first time in a very long while.

While Kinzoku sat there, something big happened. With his eyes, he was able to catch a glimpse of a rock giving way underneath a boulder, and when it did the large rock would very likely fall upon the worker beneath it. With its size there would be no way for the worker to survive. This was Kinz’s chance. Anyone who was looking would barely notice him vanish beneath the ground.

As the boulder came crashing down, the worker let out a big howl, and then was silenced by the boulders deafening sound. All the other bystanders gasped in horror, but that horror was soon replaced with admiration. Kinzoku had pulled the guy underground, to safety. Now he stood there with Kinzoku hanging onto his side. “I win”, he said with a huge smiley face.

The workers crowded around him, all expressing their admiration. Lets see who they made wash dishes now. Kinzoku couldn’t help but smile as the people who realized he was a ninja began asking him for help with their own work.

As the new most popular worker in the camp, Kinzoku was actually becoming overworked. Everyone wanted his help. He had to split not only his efforts, but his bugs efforts throughout the camp. He had a swarm or two moving rubble, and another swinging pickaxes. There were even a few passing out drinks to tired workers. At this rate it wouldn’t be to long before the wall was fixed. All thanks to Kinzoku’s efforts.

The camp was running smoothly. Kinzoku was going around with his channeled lightning strike to destroy some trees that had fell near the debris, and to light some cook fires. Everything ran smoothly. The wall was finally almost cleared of debris. The camp was warm and full of happy thoughts that night.

Everyone in the camp was eating their food with smiles. People who had them played instruments, and many danced foolishly causing laughter. It was a pleasant experience.

With things progressing so smoothly, it looked like the wall would take only a day or two more to finish. Kinzoku could probably be thanked mostly for that. He and his bugs had cleared about ninety percent of the rubble combined, and now all that was left was moving the wall into place for the most part.

Kinzoku actually had an idea that might save time and effort on this part as well. There was a nearby rock wall with an overhang that was of a very dense mineral from what he heard. It was also of excellent proportions. It would make a fin addition to the wall, so much so that they might think about making the whole wall out of this rock. Kinzoku needed only t transport it and place it in the area cleared for the wall.

Before heading off, Kinzoku asked the foremen to hold the building process until the following day, and when asked why, Kinzoku merely asked him to trust him. The foremen did as asked, and Kinzoku was off to concur the rock face.

The rock face was an astounding site. It was bigger then most of the buildings in Iwa. A stone guardian to protect the stone village, how fitting. Now the trick was how to get the massive amount of solid rock, from here to the wall. No easy task for anyone else, but Kinz had a plan.

Using his eyes to find the weakest sections of the rock, Kinzoku climbed the face of the stone and began placing the human fire bomb seals in specific locations. The seals he created weren’t that strong, only ranking about a d rank damage, but with the strategic placement and them all going off at once, the rock would surely come loose. With one handseal, the explosions could be heard a mile away.

The rock tilted slightly, almost to the point where Kinzoku thought it would tumble. It stopped at a slant however, and Kinzoku carried out phase two of his plan. Releasing his Kikai, the bugs each grabbed a piece of rope, Kinzoku had hauled from the excavation camp. It was quite a large amount of rope. Finally after lashing the rope around the rock, the bugs all took hold of the strong tether. Kinzoku hopped on top of the boulder, and the large swarm of bugs pulled with all their might.

The large rock made a long deep trail in the dirt path Kinz had used to get to the remote location, but after a bit of hauling, the camp came into view. The bugs pulled the rock right up to the camp, and after some things were cleared out of the way, they pulled it all the way to where it needed to go on the wall. The bugs set it in place, and the workers began securing it. The wall was essentially done, all thanks to Kinzoku.

With a few handshakes and smiles, Kinzoku packed up his belongings and left the camp. He considered this mission his most successful yet.
