Like most Ekitai, Iname is full of vigor and always in search of adventure. Naturally, he can also be very aggresive if needed due to how Ekitai children are raised. Iname may feel sympathy towards those in pain, due to the fact that the Ekitai have faced misery for thousands of years, trapped on their small island. But other than the normal Ekitai traits, Iname can be very kind if you get to know him. His friends mean the world to him, and he would sacrifice his life if it would save them. But he would not just charge into danger. He has brains, and he utilizes them, assessing a situation before showing full potential.Appearance:
Due to the evolution of the Ekitai race, Iname has slightly transparent skin, which also gives off a faint shine. He has straight, white hair that grows down just past his eyes and his eyes are also white. However, he can change the color of his hair due to the anatomy of the Ekitai. Besides the large Gourd he carries around, Iname wears the standard Ekitai clothing. A button-up shirt and jacket that are left open, exposing his transparent chest, and he wears long pants. The jacket is black while the button-up shirt is white. His pants are also black.Bloodlimit: Ekitai
NinJutsu Techniques:
Atsui Usumaku (Transitional Membrane)GenJutsu Techniques:
Rank: D, C, B, A
Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Effect: The user is capable of controling the thickness of thier "trasitional membrane". This technique is manditory for all under the Ekitai bloodlimit. This is because it grants them their survival in battles and harsh weather conditions.
Special: ---
Drawback: Switching from ranks that are not next to each other takes 1 post (You cannot instantly switch from D rank thickness to B rank.)
Description: Every Ekitai member begins with the D ranked version of this technique and work their way up. During training, they are required to learn how their transitional membrane is capable of absorbing the air around them in order to "harden". Chakra takes a large role in hardening their transitional membrane because it mixes with the air to help with the process. In order to switch from a higher rank of thickness to a lower, the user must pump the water from inside of their bodies and surface it to their skin. Also, the user leaves their palms permeable (D ranked), thus allowing the usage of the water inside of them no matter what rank their in.
D ranked: Very thin and moist layer of skin. This is the default layer of skin the Ekitai are always in. If punched, a hand would go through them and probably get stuck (like sticking your finger in very thick jelly). This means the Ekitai feel no physical pain. Under this rank, the skin is most permeable, meaning they are able to absorb large amounts of water. Although they feel no physical pain, ninjutsu release based attacks can affect them. Also, this skin is not suggested for harsh weather conditions. Exceedingly hot or cold weather can evaporate them or freeze them easily.
C ranked: Exact manipulation of human skin. Can withstand any kind of weather conditions a human could. Since skin is more solidified, landing taijutsu based attacks are more affective. Physical attacks now cause pain.
B ranked: A harder, rock like layer of skin. An Ekitai under this rank becomes stronger when landing physical attacks. Little pain is received when attacked by physical attacks. When attacked with too much force (B rank or above) limbs might crack off.
A ranked: Skin hardens to resemble that of a metal like texture. No pain is received from both ninjutsus and taijutsus. Physical strength is increased. Speed is reduced. Unable to crack limbs. This state can only last for 3 posts before going back to D ranked thickness. Consumes a large amount of chakra.
Limit: Must belong to the Ekitai Bloodlimit.
Mugen Korosu (Infinite Breath)
Rank: D
Skill: Ninjutsu, Supplementary
Effect: People under the Ekitai bloodlimit are able to breath underwater for as long as they’d like.
Special: ---
Drawback: Some jutsus may not work underwater.
Description: Due to the evolution of the Sagasu Tribe, the Ekitai are able to breath underwater without the need to come up for oxygen. This may serve as an advantage for hiding from an opponent near bodies of water and surprise attack them. Remaining underwater is also a method of “relaxing” in order to become more energized.
Limit: Must belong to the Ekitai bloodlimit.
Kaishin Shimasu (Regeneration)
Rank: C, B, A
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user is capable of regenerating any part of their body that has been lost.
Special: --
Drawback: Process can be extremely slow at first, leaving one vulnerable for attack.
Description: The Ekitai are capable of regenerating any part of their body that they wish. By pumping their chakra and mixing it with either water from near by, or from the rest of their body, the lost body part is grown back in a certain amount of time.
C ranked: Rate of growth is 3 post. When assisted by bodies of water, 1 ½ post.
B ranked: Rate of growth is 1 post. When assisted by bodies of water, ½ a post.
A ranked: Rate of growth is instantly.
Limit: Must belong to the Ekitai Bloodlimit. Cannot grow additional limbs other than the ones that have been lost.
Jelly Clones (Zerii Bushin)
Rank: C
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: One jelly clone is created by the user. When one is destroyed, jelly substance is scattered everywhere and two jelly clones form as a result. Every time a jelly clone destroyed, two more are created, overwhelming the opponent.
Special: Rabbit, Tiger, Dog
Drawback: The clones are only able to do minor punches and kicks.
Description: The Ekitai quickly creates the three hand seals and creates a large glob of jelly. It is thrown on the ground and quickly takes the identical form of the owner, however without a nucleus. The only way of getting rid of them is by freezing them or evaporating them.
Supaiku Tama (Spiked Ball)
Rank:C
Skill:Ninjutsu
Effect:After forming a glob of jelly within the users palms, they mold spikes into it, and harden by compacting it together tightly, creating pressure and making it hard as a rock. A small piece of thick jelly is then stuck to the spiked ball, creating something similar to a chain.
Special:Dragon
Drawback: The spiked ball might break if crashed into a wall.
Description: After performing the proper handseal, the user quickly shapes and forms a spiked ball from their blob of jelly. Once this is completed, the ball is hardened and a piece of jelly glob is attached underneath it. This serves as a chain in order to spin the spiked ball to attain enough momentum to strike an opponent with a deadly blow. If the user misses, they are able to retrieve the spiked ball back thanks to their “chain” and try again.

NoneHistory:
About fourteen years ago, while his mother was still pregnant with him, merchant ships stumbled upon the island that held the Ekitai race. Eager to escape the prison that was the island, Iname's mother and father snuck onto the ship and hid there until it reached the Water Country. It was here that Iname was born.
It wasn't just Iname's family that had stowed away on the ship, and so he was brought up like a nomal Ekitai child. He was trained to fight against the other children, and he would normally emerge victorious.
One day, Iname went out exploring, and saw a group of people headed towards a large gate. The gate had a symbol at the top. It consisted of four lines set up in a diamond fashion pointing diagonally to the bottom right of the emblem. Iname followed these travelers, and thats when he stumbled upon the Hidden Mist Village.
Returning that night to his parents and the rest of the Ekitai that had stowed away that night, Iname began to tell them of the Village. It seemed that the Village he had found was based roughly on water, and would make an ideal spot to live for the Ekitai people. Some of the tribe rejected Iname's offer, stating that they would be rejected for their looks. But the rest followed Iname, and they all became part of the Mist Village.
At first, people shunned them because of their looks. Most of their organs were visible through their skin! But over time the Ekitai that had migrated to the Mist Village would learn to change their transitional membranes. Soon, they would blend in with normal people and no one would know the difference.
The children of the clan were still shunned due to the fact that they did not learn how to change their membranes yet. This is the only reason that people are able to remember that the Ekitai are even made of liquid. But, even if people avoided them, they were still a nice asset to the Mist Village's shinobi.
Now, Iname's family lives as members of the Mist Village. He trains hard as a Mist Shinobi and as a member of the Ekitai race. His training has given him the strength to carry his gourd as a tool for fighting, and he now aspires to become one of the best Mist ninja.
