Marii had manage to hide herself next to a river near the capital. 'OK.....According to this guy, the formal is supposed to take place in the capital in a black building. The password is aoi sora. I have to dress up as a missing-nin, get the names and get out' thought the girl.
This was quite serious stuff: prisoners and missing-nins on the run were not to be underestimated. Which might be why this mission had been a "B"-ranked one. But getting the names was easier said than done. The criminals that would attend were ninjas from "D" to "C"-rank, some of them ex-ANBU's. Others were thieves, raptists, pirates and robbers from a lot of different countries.
'First, I have to change my appearance' thought the Kazeraikou and took up some temporary brown hair colour and brown contact lenses. 'Missing-nins probably want to blend in as much as possible...both my eyes and hair are lighter than average and would attract attention. Also, I have to change clothes as well. I can't go around in a Kumogakure attire if I'm going to pretend that I'm a missing-nin from Kiri' thought the girl and took up her disguise.
It was pretty simple really: it was a dark blue, nice shirt and black, comfortable trousers. Her main weapon would be her chisakatana, but the sheath would be more plain than her usual one.
'It would be more common for a Kiri shinobi to have a sword instead of an umbrella. After all, the 7 swordsmen had their origin in Kiri' mused the brunette and applied the haircolour in her hair. After 10 minutes, she cleaned it and applied her contacts. 'Kami, this is strange...might as well get used to it' thought the female.
A little later, her hair was dry as well.
Her hair was darker than it used to be: it had gone from light, cool brown to an intense ashbrown shade. The Cloud nin took up a tube of hairgel with strong hold, and made her hair a lot more spiky than it originally was. It had grown longer: most of it was between her chin and shoulders. But ninjas with silky-soft hair wasn't a common sight.
She knitted the missing-nin headband around her neck and tried to get into the capital unnoticed. Which went fairly well: there was a fair going on. The Chuunin snuck into a dark alley, knowing that missing-nins didn't wanted to attract attention and would probably blend into the background instead. At least she would have done that if she was a missing-nin, no matter how strong or weak she was. 'Now, I have to find some other missing-ninjas who can show me where this stupid formal is...' thought the girl and looked around to see if there was anyone else there.
Then, it struck her: it was in the late afternoon. The other missing-nins would probably not get out before later. 'I guess I just have to wait then...' thought Marii before she sat down between two large garbage containers and begun reading in a book she had brought with her. The girl made sure that nobody could see her from the main street. If they did, they would call the police, her cover would be blown and her mission would have been a failure. But again, the Kazeraikou was rather small, and hiding between some large things was a good idea. Now, she just had to wait for the sun to set, an the mission could start.
