Sairen sighed softly as he walked up the steps of the rather small looking dojo within stone village. His eyes wandered looked around quietly as he entered. As he entered, he noticed an older man sitting down and drinking tea. As Sairen entered, he bowed politely to the man. ”E-excuse me sir a-are y-you…” The older man looked up and then stood up slowly. ”Yes, I am Juushen your father told me you were to arrive today… He is a good man it seems right that you chose an honorable way of combat…” The older man said as he revealed his Katana.
He then stood beside Sairen as he crouched and held his hand on the hilt of the blade. He then entered the basic stance of the technique. Sairen glanced at him as he stood beside him. ”Alright Sairen mimic what I am doing… Your lessons start now… If you are anything like your father then you must be a fast learner.” Sairen jumped as the older man called his name as he slowly crouched and entered the stance. Resting his hand on the hilt of his sword.
The older man looked at him and stood up straight. ”Crouch lower…” He said calmly as Sairen crouched lower to the ground quietly.”You almost got it now straighten up your arm that is holding blade…” The older man said calmly as he watched Sairen. Sairen then slowly straightened his arm. As the older man paced around him silently. He then sighed as he looked at Sairens feet.
”Now pivot your feet…” The older man said as Sairen did as he was told as he still kept into the stance. As the older man faced him again. He then snorted as he glanced at Sairens hand. ”Your grip is not tight… I thought you are a warrior grip it like a man…” He added still being calm as Sairen now gripped the blade tightly. Sairen then looked at the older man he smiled.
”Now stand up straight…” The older man said softly as Sairen stood up straight. He then faced him and crouched down swiftly to get into a stance. ”Now get into the stance!” He barked quickly as Sairen quickly crouched into the stance mimicking his sensei. He then smiled and stood up straight. ”Good Job now time for the real lesson… This stance is very important for what I am going to teach you…” He said as he sat back down and continued drinking his tea. Sairen then stood up straight as he walked back to his Sensei.
