Eagle Eye
Rank: D
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: enhances sight for a single post.
Special: None
Drawback: Only usable for one post and causes a slight blurring to sight as it returns to normal.
Description: Most of the bow men you read about in stories and books, even in the Archery books, train heir eyes to zone in on the target in the distance and block all else out to achieve it. Usually it deals with long distance type shots, such as to take out an exicutioner to save a friend or in the case of one ninja story I read, to simply assassinate at a safer distance and allow easy escape. In this jutsu, the user narrows their eyes and focuses the chakra to their eyes to enhance vision at long distance for momentary periods of time for a long range assassination shot from a crossbow or long bow. This is only a matter of a few seconds and is used to focus on distant targets for a sniper type shot at a target.
Limit: Must be a bowman and possess at least a long bow to learn and use this.

The Capital had become silent as people hid in their homes. The battle of conflicting sides of the Mist Ninja Village had raged in the city. The odds were stacked against those who relied on hard work. They had become the victims of those of talent. Kotaro walked through the city as people moved in a hurried fashion. He entered a long alley the end seemed to be shrouded in darkness from where he stood.
A long walk down the alley would it had an end about fifty yards. A folded paper from Kotaro's pocket was revealed to be a target. He turned and took a walk back to the start of the alley. The target was far from gone as he turned and looked back. Retrieving his bow, he looked down the alley, into the darkness. He raised the bow up to his eyes as he looked again.
Kotaro wanted to test a technique whispered among archers like himself. He focused his chakra into his eyes. It seemed to have no effect until he squinted. The world around him seemed to blur as the unknown became clear to him. The world re-focused the target at the far end becoming clear. Kotaro readied an arrow keeping his eyes on the bulls-eye.
Aiming up, compensating for wind, all were adjusted for as he pulled back the arrow ready to fire. He released the arrow as it flew into Kotaro's vision becoming as focused as the alley walls. The arrow nailed the target. Kotaro held his eyes open for what seemed as an eternity after the shot. He blinked and stopped the chakra flow to his eyes. The world became blurry. The whole alley was a brown and red blur.
He rubbed his eyes for a while as his sight returned to normal. With this ability he had to make the shot count like any bowman shot. The mantra of a true sniper “One shot, One kill.” Kotaro readied his bow and arrow again. The darkness of the distant parts of the alley was revealed to him once more as chakra flowed in his eyes.
Tunnel vision... The world to Kotaro's left and right was blurry it's details non-existent as the world beyond was his real focus. The arrow was ready, held firm on the string and body of the bow. The tension was brought upon it as Kotaro drew the string back. The arrow was released flying towards the distant target. His upper body strength was channeled into the bow as it proceeded to sink into the target.
Kotaro's sight began to blur completely again. He knelt down rubbing his eyes. Even when he opened his eyes the world was fuzzy shapes and colors. The fuzz began to fade away to solid shapes and colors. He stood and readied his bow once more. His normal vision couldn't pick up the distant alley and target. Kotaro narrowed his eyes and focused his chakra as it came into view. The alley beyond soon came intro view and was sharp.
Kotaro could easily see his previous shots and the bulls-eye. The old shots were only inches away from his true goal. The red bulls eye reminded him of the red eyes that routed him at every turn. He looked up as he readied his bow and arrow. The string drawn the distant bulls-eye seemed to grow dark spots in its iris. His hands felt dry as they touched the steel arrow. It felt like he had to suddenly hit a target in the desert.
His heart thumped in his throat. Kotaro's pulse was felt all across his body as he steadied the bow. He loosened his grip as relaxed. Still staring down the alley. He suddenly snapped the bow back up. Drawing the string and arrow back he shot down the alley. The speeding arrow kicked up dust as it spiraled to the target. The red eyes looked at the oncoming arrow as it sunk deep into the bulls eye...
