Kalin, emerging from the chamber he was trapped in, found himself in a sewer. Although his robe covered his injuries, there was a small bulge where six inches of bone came out of his left arm. In pain and with no visable reconnition of the pain, he moved through the sewer with only the thought of revenge on his mind. With only a discription pounded into his head, he needed a way out of the sewer. As he scanned the walls for ladders and the roof for holes, he started to cry without noticing he did. He may not have shown his pain, but it still came out. My life means nothing for the chance to kill him. He repeated this as he continued to search the barely lit sewers.

After a short search Kalin found his ladder he was looking for. Unfortunately, he didn't think of how he was going to get up the ladder first. So, with a little disapointment, started to search for an easier way out that he could just walk out of. This took almost a minute, but he found a tunnel with an unbarred exit from the sewers. Finally, open for me to search for him Kalin thought as he kicked a rat into the sewer water. He'd better be alive when i find him came through Kalins head as he moved through the tunnel and out to the outskirts of the village.
Beneath the beautiful village located behind the Waterfalls was an area reclusive in construction. Long since abandoned, the sewers of the village now operate as a shady underground area where questioning proclivities manifest. Covered in virid and glowing slime, the stagnated waters of this region offer no essence of vitality to aquatic creatures. A malodorous stench plagues this region, and many larger-than-normal rats find this place to be quite the humble abode. Tunnels and aqueducts lay in suspended murk areas that one should only brave if they are equipped with flash lights or some sort of light-generating source.
Wails can be heard echoing faintly through this region. With little insight as to what is actually going on down here, no one knows about it. Passer-bys, who live in the area wherein the entrance to the sewers is found, quickly run along, minding their own business as these wails continue to pang out from the musty alcoves.
A stroll through the sewers of Takigakure was not something that Aldous found himself doing on a regular basis. In fact, if he could perhaps avoid it, he would. But, rumors are rumors, and this rumor was a good one. Aldous had heard a tidbit, perhaps some sort of lure, or bait to a trap, that there may just yet be something of interest in these vomitous cesspool.
A few steps into the disgusting place nearly made him hurl, but he kept his composure. At least he'd been there on one or more occasions, so the stench wasn't utterly overwhelming to his senses.
But alas, he would need to find direction, maybe a clue would present itself?
A flock of bats would be roused by the sound of faint pitter-patter steps as the young Genin stepped foot into the stank-pit, looking for God knew what within these slime covered stone wall tunnels. Life seemed to be present within the sewers; human life, as much as to the dismay of the flying mammals, caused them to take flight down one of the dark corridors of the sewer complex. The boy would hear the screeching of bats out voceifrate the cries that came from elsewhere within the tunnels, and if he looked up, he would see just how large and black these creatures were. Blind, though, they paid him little mind as their echolocation pinged off of his small body; he wasn't even as nearly as big as one of the rats that they often times found themselves feasting on.
Had the boy turned to his left, he would notice a tunnel that expressed a greater green glower than its adjacent kin. This one, out of all the rest, seemed to stand out naturally. Perhaps there was a reason behind this, perhaps not.
Although the bats were large, and looked particularly dangerous, he paid them no mind. In fact, their enlivening didn't seem to even arouse a flinch from the boy. You see, this child was seeking something. The rumors had piqued his curiosity, and there was no stopping him.
The official hearsay was that an ancient scroll was found. An ancient scroll with an ancient ritual, probably from ancient times. Aldous had no idea what ritual it was, but he found an urge to find the ritual, and perhaps experiment with it.
Being a doctor, Aldous found a compulsion towards obtaining medical knowledge, whether it be truth or fiction. So digging into the depths of black murky markets was something that Aldous was used to, however pungent the odor.
But as he peered around his surroundings, Aldous noticed that to his right was a mostly dark corridor, and to his left was a brightly lit, albeit green passage. Of course he'd take the lit ingress.

Reasons why is because how can you place fear upon the fearless. Limit: Must know Chouba (Taunt), Must have at least two Hundred Training Points before going into.
Curiously, the boy tread deeper into the murky sewers. Had he been a cat, then this situation would have most certainly frightened him; in lieu, he seemed to possess not a fearful bone in his body, but what good would those do against creatures that feasted on blood and marrow? In an elaborately, seemingly innate way, there had been numerous glowing mushrooms growing in that sickly a-lit tunnel; those, and a gaggle of Culvert Fiends, six in total. These leeching underworld spawn, with gelatinous mettle, surged toward the small child. He looked to be an easy prey, for they had lain waste to countless creatures larger than he. Tentacles sprang loose and lashed towards the red-head; abysmal eyes glistened in the unnaturally chartreuse tunnel; jagged mouths turned agape as they primed themselves for victory----that is, if victory was even attainable against this fearless child.

Name: Disobedient Children Will Be Punished! Rank: D IIC Length: 2 Days (24 Hours) Difficulty: Easy Objective: Help a team of searchers locate a missing teen. Description: A teenage girl has gone missing from a party at her house last night. It is suspected that she had left with a boyfriend or a couple of friends despite she was instructed to remain in her room. Her parents have asked for a team of up to three shinobi to track down the daughter and bring her back to the house and to report who she was with upon finding her. Reward: 3,125 Ryo for a Non-Ninja; 4,000 Ryo for a Ninja.
Having left the tower of the Waterfall Shadow, Ginko set out on her mission to find the missing teen. Her equipment remained at the Ruomu; yet her gas mask would be her sole item possession, especially if she dared venture into murky places within the village. As the genin approached the southern border of the -no-Sato, she saw a group of persons within her age group standing at the maw of a sewer opening. The stench alone caused those who gathered at the aperture to cover their noses and mouths with cloths; the kunoichi Ginko was spared thanks to her specialized filter located in her gas mask. Once she came into close range with the scared teens, she would call out to them, having figured that these were the last party-boy's that were out with the missing teenager.
"Hey!.. Get over here." her stern voice shred through the space and sent a chill up the boys' spines. They snapped their necks and hobbled toward the silver haired girl timidly. "Y-y-yes!" they each sobbed and looked afraid; Ginko observed their movements and for the time being let them grovel. In between whimpers, she could make out 'sorrys' and curses. The earth-element kunoichi stamp her foot in the ground and called them to attention. "Alright, enough." She beamed a finger at the red haired kid; "You, start talking. Tell me what happened..." Aside from the mission detail, Gin had little room to work with. All she knew was that a girl had went missing, and that her parents were infuriated. This would cause the woman to cringe as she thought of her time in Seisui... her parents. They were dead now and Gin was the sole survivor of a capital mass murder. Back when she was a child, she hadn't a clue to her beginnings------all those memories had been torn away by years of being a street rat and scavenging to survive. She shook her head and returned her dual-colored eyes towards the red-head.
"Uh... well," he murmured; "This girl.. Hina, well, she got lost." He started to scratch the back of his neck anxiously. "I, uh... I dunno what happened to her. We had a few drinks, smoked a coupla herbs and the next thing we know, she's running towards the sewers." The boy then slumped down to the ground, head in his hands. Both of his comrades rushed to his side, bearing positive words. "It'll be okay, bro.. this chick's a ninja!" One encouraged. "Yeah! A fuckin' girl ninja!" Promoted the other. When their friend seemed like he had had enough, he shook his head madly and began to roar.
"No! No, dude, you don't understand!" He rose to his feet, frenzied. "She went into the sewers, man - she's fuckin' toast! There's no way she survived those Culvert thingies! I bet they drained her dry!" He waxed again and wept for the girl whom he thought dead. Ginko, having heard this ridiculous situation, marched towards the opening leading down into the sewer. "W-what's she doing, bro?!" the red-head screamed. As he fought to stand back up and stop Ginko from entering into the sewers, his friends held him down. He wailed; pleaded, towards the genin not to venture into the green depths underneath the Hidden Waterfall. As her form disappeared into the darkness, the boy merely fainted in his ally's arms.
"Dudeeee, that herb is pretty intense!!" The yellow eyed boy commented as they awaited the fate of Futabatei Ginko....

Tracking Rank: "D" Skill: Skill Effect: Characters use this skill to follow the trail of animals and other persons. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: Can be learned by an Animal. Tracking means the user found a trail if they gain the check, while failure means they did not. If user fails this initial skill check, they simply cannot find that particular trail. After finding a trail, further checks may be necessary depending on the situation. The silver-haired kunoichi moved at a casual pace, eyes peeled so that she wouldn't miss a move. To further add to her search party, she performed hand seals and created clones from the mud that gathered within the underground aqueducts. Two muddy form versions of Ginko emerged and slid over in her direction. Once they full hardened and materialized, she commanded them to spread out from her and search for any sort of track in the wet soil.
One of the doppelgangers, who went east down a serpentine corridor, observed various tracks. It noted the long markings that dug through the earth like roots; perhaps a creature with tentacles moved through this area down into deeper holds of the sewer. But maybe that had been unlikely... as the original Ginko shrugged off that notion, the Mud clone steadily surveyed its area. With the glowing mushrooms aiding in observing the trackings in the corridor, this particular bunshin had no trouble continuing to look for clues. Among the long trails had also been smaller foot prints, although not human. The three-toed imprint suggested an amphibian, which made Ginko question her surroundings as she moved. Whenever she had her back to water, she made sure to be cautious of getting surprised by an underwater assailant.
Her second clone had opted to push north, into the rail-way portion of the sewer. Here, it noted heavy prints in the growing algae. Not akin to those three-pronged footprints found by the first clone, but those of maybe a creature that remained rooted in the ground for long periods of time. Throughout a patch of algae, the clone noted at least four or five of these round markings. Most were of the same large circular shape, having wavy edges and cross-hatched markings at the marking radius. Had the clone had access to proper lighting, then perhaps it would have been able to gauge even more information from the coarse prints in the algae. But since it hadn't, it continued to trudge forward, careful not to step into the slimy mess, even though it was a replication of the actual mysophobic. Since it hadn't gained any luck from searching for actual prints in the darkness, it moved to a brighter area towards the cement tubes.
Numerous, tiny trackings littered this new area where the clone searched, and this brought about the attention of the real Ginko. Had rodents been present here... then the girl surely must have ran from them. If not even the feared Culvert Fiend had reared its ugly head in here, then surely the common rat scared her off. The cluster of small prints was observed for a time by the doppelganger, yet it could not determine the multitude of the mass. Too many had been the tiny footprints created by the rodent; the long track trail looked dotted from an aerial view; it appeared to be the work of a person poking many small holes into the ground, when compared to rodents. The trail split up four different ways after she crossed from the mud onto the concrete towards the tubes. On the grey surface of the cinder, one could observe the brown mud tracks of the rodents.... But wait. Amid the small mammal footprints had been several prints of a medium-sized human... Hina! As the real Ginko and the other clone rushed over towards their third, they all studied for a time the track marks.
It would appear to Ginko that these footprints had been overlooked by the mud clone; having come up from the west, her set of marks had blended in well with those of the rodents in the darkness. It didn't take much time to trace them back to the sewer opening once they were found. Within the smooth walls of one of the four tunnels leading further into the underground system, the small handprint of a human lay on grey stone. It was the hand of Huna, who had happened to trip on a rock in the mud; this clue had been vital to the Genin, for now she knew where to continue her search for the missing daughter.

As the trio continued to move down the corridor, the residue of the mud started to end; here, pressed into the old concrete of the subterranean complex, had been several latge claw markings.. This had startled Ginko - what sort of creature moved through the sewers of this size? With caution, her team continued to move forward. In a select formation, that of the delta, Gin and her earthen doppelgangers snuck through the winding tunnel. The missing girl had to have been somewhere down this way...
Unless the creature killed her-----yet Ginko violently tossed the suggestion out of her head; her belief in accomplishig her mission did not allow her to see negative outcomes in her line of work. Determined to find this child, she commanded the two Tsuchi Bunshin to rush the corridor. Underground predators had been encountered. The use of ninjutsu to dispatch of these vermin had been implemented by the earth-aligned kunoichi, and she had not struggled in defending herself and her creations from the acidic tentacles of what monsters lurk beneath Takigakure.
Her venture would draw to a climax. A door lay before the girl and cautiously, she moved towards it. What was a door doing all the way fown here in the sewers? From the looks of the black and horrendously clawed door, it surely hadn't been used for utility purposes....

The missing girl had finally been found. It felt like time had slowed to a crawl within the sewers and now Ginko was covered in green slime. As she exited the tunnels, the kunoichi followed the woman to her home. Her parents were relieved to find their daughter alive --- filthy but alive.
The silver-haired genin sprinted off towards the Ruomu, desperately needing a shower. She would return to the Takikage's tower in a while, finding her own needs greater than the village's at the moment.
