Nothing. The word had two meanings to Kii, then. The first, which Kii found amusing, was exactly what he was living for. Second was all he could see, then.

A single voice broke the numbing silence, the numbing feeling of the nothingness which enveloped him. It was cold, empty, yet it had redeeming characteristics which...Faintly reminded Kii of...

No.

Not possible...Right? He had failed to understand the voice's message in the first place, he shouldn't jump to conclusions...

Again, it boomed through the darkness. Immediately, Kii whirled about in a desperate attempt to find the voice which seemed to echo from all around him. Still, though, there was no message to be communicated...Almost as if...It didn't have a message, like...Like it was teasing him...

Numbness disappeared all at once as the sensation of falling overtook his body. Then, a sharp pain was sent through his back, as if he had hit 'rock bottom'. Literally.

With a short gasp, and a choke, Kii lurched forwards, his fists grabbing almost desperately at the covers which lay haphazardly over his previously sleeping body. His breathing was heavy, trapped in a constant cycle of hyperventilation, a short choke, and a cough.

When he managed to calm himself down, the only thing which seemed to replay itself in his mind was his dream...Along with the voice...Only...Much, much clearer.

Disappointing...Son. To think that you were so pitiful...You'll never become stronger, not unless you are to take the life of another...Many, many others...

Axcel was returning to the village after training right outside the gates. In no time, he found himself passing the endless fields of snow into the snowy village that he liked to call ‘home’. It’s where he has lived for over a decade now, which is most of his life considering his age.

His arms were stretched out and he let out loud yawn, “Now what?” Axcel said aloud to himself. “More training? …Eh…” Axcel could not think of anything better to do, so he decided to do what he tended to do the most. Train.

He made his way towards his favorite spot, the large isolated pond in the village. The weather was nice for a day in Yukigakure, cold and snowy. He sighed as he walked along the pond, making sure to keep his chakra in synch so he doesn’t fall through. “Now…what to practice?”

There was no stopping it. The voice replayed itself over and over in Kii's head, like a broken record. The physical images of his dream had seemed to have faded, leaving that voice which plagued Kii's mind like a virus. The voice grew in strength as the dream faded, and Kii found himself outside near a large pond which was usually lifeless, trying desperately to wash the thoughts away. It seemed, however, that there was another here on this day...The least- and the most- thing Kii had hoped for.

Then, he questioned himself. What was he living for? Why did he exist? He had no meaning, or so he decided. His foremost duty was to live up to his parent's expectations, not do disappoint them...

"To take the life of another..." He found himself mumbling quietly, repeating an unspoken command. Staring intently at the other, he now recognized him as Axcel from the academy...He was weak...Always weak, even weaker than me... he thought, slowly advancing towards his lone figure, yeah...

[Axcel]

Axcel was scratching the back of his head as he pondered what to train. “Argh, I don’t know!” He shouted out of frustration. He was not best at making decisions, in fact it would be easy for one to recall times when he has made awfully poor choices.

Then he began to feel the waves of the pond beating against his feet. That was the result of another person approaching him. Axcel wasn’t aware that other people came to this pond and was surprised when he found out he was not alone. He turned to the distant figure and squinted his eyes in an attempt to make out who it was.

“…Shimizu Kii…?” He mumbled to himself, that was a face he hasn’t seen in a while. He remembered him from the academy…he could recall Kii giving him looks as if he was stupid or something, but that was about it. The rest of his memory was vague when it came to him.

Axcel stopped what he was doing and made a dash towards the figure, completely unable to tell that he was obviously being troubled by something. He slapped his hand against Kii’s shoulder. “Yo Kii! I’m trying to learn a jutsu, but I’m not sure what to learn, any suggestions?!” He said with a loud and enthusiastic voice.

Axcel began to approach Kii, which didn't quite surprise him. Axcel had always been very...Outgoing. Annoyingly so. Kii immediately pulled away as Axcel attempted to slap his back, glaring daggers.

He began to mumble what would have seemed to be incoherently to Axcel. In fact, he was repeating what his father had ordered him to do in his dreams, what was left of his sanity attempting to stop himself from doing anything stupid. That sanity, however, was only held by a thread. A thread so slender, that Kii would likely go under- lose it all, oh-so-soon.

Shakily, Kii reached down and into the pouch at his side. A small glare, the light of the sun bouncing annoyingly off of metal, confirmed Kii's decision. Staring directly into Axcel's eyes, he brought the kunai up, ready to launch.

[Axcel]

Kii responded with nothing at all. Axcel stood there in a state of confusion. Usually when he asks someone something, he gets a response back, but Kii remained his usual silent self. He pulled away when Axcel raised his hand to slap his back so he figured Kii had some sort of phobia about people hitting him or something of that sort.

“….” Axcel responded to Kii’s silence with more silence. “Whats up with this guy…” Axcel thought to himself as he stared blankly. “Oh right, he must be a mute…That would explain why he never talks…ah it all makes sense now.” He believed he had found his answer, but he only placed himself in a situation where he looked even dumber.

Then he noticed the kunai slowly being pulled from Kii’s weapon pouch. Kii then glared at Axcel with what seemed to have a very dark intent. He looked abnormal, and now Axcel was beginning to pick up signs. Why was he suddenly pulling out a kunai? Axcel found the answer, and was ready to spring to action.

“Oh so you wanna spar!” Axcel completely misinterpreted the situation. He still had a training mindset going on, and sparring would be a nice change of pace compared to learning a jutsu. A grin grew across his face, he was ready to have some fun.

Kii couldn't help himself from rolling his eyes at Axcel's stupidity. Kii could feel that he gave off an almost visible haze of...of, hostility. Of threat. Of...almost...hate. Not directly towards Axcel, no, while...an idiot, Axcel had never done anything to spite Kii. No, it was a hate towards the world.

His opponent grinned stupidly just before Kii slung his arm forward, letting loose the kunai without warning towards Axcel's head. He jumped back as he did so, attempting to gain some distance.

He decided to put up a defense immediately. Handseals flew by in a blur as he thought through the jutsu and its seals, Serpent...Bird...Hare... "Hyouton! Hyoukeibi no Jutsu!" A sliver of ice immediately broke from its place atop the frozen pond. It made its way to Kii, attaching to itself and flowing about him in a ring. Defense: prepared.

Axcel had leaped back before the match started, but he wasn't expecting Kii to attack out of the blue. Axcel's arm instinctively slid into his kunai holster and pulled out a kunai. He swung it in front of his own face, making it in time to redirect the kunai that Kii threw at him. "Fighting dirty eh?" Axcel tossed in a few words in between the assault. When his kunai had clashed with Kii's, he caught Kii's kunai with his free hand. Now he was dual wielding kunais as his 'sparring' buddy performed a jutsu of his own.

The ice had swirled around Kii which showed that he was currently fighting from a defensive state. Axcel immediately recognized the jutsu. It was Hyoukeibi no Jutsu, which was a technique that utilized ice as a defense. "I know what’ll get rid of that…" Axcel muttered underneath his breath as the grin on his face grew wider. He threw Kii’s kunai back at him, directing the object towards his face. He did this so Kii would hopefully set his eyes on the kunai itself opposed to him.

Then he quickly reached into his weapons pouch and pulled out an exploding tag which he wrapped around the other kunai he held in his hand. He then threw the kunai towards the ice guard, making sure to throw it with enough force that the kunai with stick into the guard without falling down. While it soared in mid-air, Axcel made the handseal to activate the tag, knowing that the exploding tag would have a slight delay to it anyways.

No, Kii didn't like to move. No, Kii wasn't so stupid to pay attention to a kunai his guard could easily block, and yes, there definitely was a kunai with an exploding tag connected to it soaring towards him.

The first kunai was deflected by his guard, which writhed upwards to do so. It hadn't been thrown with enough force to stick, and as such, landed buried in a white abyss. To his dismay, Kii was forced to roll to his right, his guard following by hovering around him as he did so, causing the kunai which held an exploding tag to pass slightly above his coiled-up body, and to his right. If the explosion were to go off right next to him, he was at a distance that would cause his guard to take the blow, but not shatter completely.

As he rose, he spoke to Axcel for the first time, "When killing is involved...There is no such thing as dirty fighting..."

Axcel’s grin quickly faded when his attack was easily seen through. “Damn, I shouldn’t be underestimating this guy. After all, he is a shinobi from Yukigakure just as I am.” He thought, taking pride in his village’s ‘greatness’.

“When killing is involved? But killing isn’t involved, right? We’re just sparring!” Axcel was taken back by Kii’s statement, after all this fight was currently on hell of a misunderstanding. He was not aware that he should be fighting for his life opposed to fighting to better himself as a sparring match. Kii was there to murder him, but Axcel was under the impression that they were just having a simple sparring match.

Axcel was still a bit unsure of what was going on, but his mentality was still set to battle. As he sprinted forwards, his hands went through a quick string of handseals. “Suiton: Mizutsume no Jutsu!” He called out, as water from the pond wrapped around his hands to create a pair of dense water claws. When he was only a few feet away from Kii, he dove forwards and slashed in an “X” form with both claws, aiming to attack his chest.

Description: Creates a claw around the users hand which is pressurized and will allow te user to cut with their "bare" hands. Acts as if it were metal, as the water is both highly pressurized and infused with chakra. Lasts two posts, cannot form handseals whith the claw "on".
Limit: Must know Suiton no Jutsu (Water Release). Must have a water source.

Kii made no point to speak with Axcel any longer, his later actions would easily explain to Axcel just what was going on. Handseals flew by faster than none but a ninjutsu master could surpass, dragon, serpent, bird...

Immediately, snow just a bit in front of Axcel's feet piled onto itself and shot forward, traveling at around ten piles per hour in the shape of a five-foot wave. "Hyouton! Shiroinami!" It was very close to Axcel, and at ten miles per hour, there was a good chance it could hit him, but Kii decided it was best not to jump to conclusions- or to underestimate his foe.

However, to show Axcel just what was going on, he quickly pulled a kunai from his pouch. Making sure Axcel was paying attention, he slowly brought the kunai towards his head, staring directly into Axcel's eyes. The kunai's tip pushed meaningfully into his headband, drawing a screeching sound as it did. Ever so slowly, he brought it along the metal of his headband, crossing his village out from his life. He knew these actions- both the killing of Axcel and the crossing of his headband- would mark him as a missing-nin, and change hs life.

Axcel’s assault against Kii had failed, for his attack only cut through the snow wave that Kii had sent towards him. A little bit of snow was not going to stop a pair of highly pressurized water claws, and Kii should have known that. Axcel figured that he only intended to use it as a defensive maneuver, or he might have just not have thought it out very well.

Whatever the reason might have been, the distance between the two was beginning to shorten and the difference in speed was notable. Axcel continued to sprint forward, and as he did his opponent began to slowly pull out a kunai and bring it up to his forehead protector. “What’s he doing?” Axcel thought as the water beneath him splashed as he ran across it.

A slow yet loud screeching sound could be heard coming from Kii as he slowly scratched his headband. As he did, the distance became shorter and shorter between the two, and finally Axcel had gotten the message. He wasn’t here to spar, he was here to kill him. Axcel wasn’t sure why, but now things had suddenly changed. He was fighting for his life and for his village.

“I can’t say I know you very well, but you just made the biggest mistake!” Axcel said, he slightly regretted the fact that he would have to take life today. But as a shinobi, that was the inevitable. When Kii had taken his time scratching his headband and notifying Axcel of his intentions, Axcel had been running at a full sprint to close the gap and enter melee distance. This time he wouldn’t be stopped by a juvenile trick like with his last jutsu. He slashed across with his left arm, cutting through part of the ice guard, and then with his dominant arm he lunged forward attempting to stab Kii in the stomach.

Axcel closed the gap between Kii and himself very fast, not to Kii's surprise. Part of his ice guard was chipped, however, it wasn't so easily taken down. The explosion from earlier had taken a toll on the right side of his guard, but it wasn't enough for Axcel, now. His ice guard was capable of withstanding several chuunin-ranked jutsus, and as such, was able to intercept Axcel's second attack.

The hare seal formed by Kii's hands signaled the start of a new jutsu. Water quickly formed into the size of a small hare directly behind Axcel, which immediately jumped upwards and exploded just behind Axcel. Kii stepped back the moment the hare had jumped, however, to insure the explosion would not harm him should Axcel dodge.

Axcel’s slash and stab was foiled, he didn’t think the ice guard would put up such a defense. After that attack, the claws lost their form and simply reverted back to normal water. Upon the water reverting, Axcel glanced at Kii, waiting to see what he would do next. If he was able to anticipate the technique he did then it would be easier to avoid, or so he thought.

Kii had performed only one handseal, and it was the hare. Axcel was lucky because had he done any more handseals he would have been unable to keep up. The hare handseal most likely meant the hare explosion technique. Even if it wasn’t, Axcel was not going to stick around to find out. He immediately ceased his chakra molding and fell through the water as if he had done it by accident. Then he began to swim away as the explosion creating a wave pushing him even further.

Now must have had Kii under the assumption he would be out of the water in no time. However, Axcel was capable of staying in the water for quite a long time, at least much longer then this fight would require. While the misunderstanding likely had Kii occupied, Axcel himself began to flash through several signs.

“Hyouton: Hyourou no Jutsu!” Axcel’s words were jumbled up as he spoke. Ice pillars shot up and surrounded Kii. The way he used his jutsu could also cause a bit of confusion. Instead of using the jutsu to capture and freeze Kii, he used it to surround him by several pillars of ice. The only exit left now was down.

Drawback: After returning to surface the user must rest half of the time used underwater. As example, if the user has stayed under for 20 minutes, he’ll have to rest 10 minutes before the jutsu can be used again.
Description: Simple technique used by channeling chakra to mouth, lungs, ears and eyes. With chakra moved to mouth and lungs the user gathers air from the water and is able breath underwater, chakra guided to ears protects from the aching caused by pressure, lenses of chakra protecting eyes work like swim goggles.
Limit: Anyone can learn it, the techinque doesn’t even need a scroll, smart ninjas should be able to figure out the process on their own.

Hyouton - Hyourou no Jutsu (Ice Prison) [30]

Effect: A technique in where the uses the ice that is down upon the ground and is used to encase an opponent in a pure white like prison.

Description: A user quickly does a few hand seals as they quickly slam their hands against the ground. Doing so they can create a large like sheild of snow that would either be used against an opponent or for themselves as a defensive like fashion to where the technique comes forth to stop from incoming attacks.

Underwater? No thanks. Kii decided to stay put, Axcel probably wanted him to come below the surface. That, or he wanted him to stay put...But then, what was the point of leaving the bottom open? To attack?

Well, he would have to take his chances. And, just in case, he fused his feet with chakra and began to scale the side of the prison. As he reached the highest point possible, he sat, cross-legged, upside down, staring at the water's surface...Waiting.

[Axcel]

“Is he even going to attempt to do anything?” Axcel thought to himself as Kii simply sat there with his legs and looked down upon him. He seemed to be waiting for Axcel, just as Axcel had been waiting for him. He cursed under his breath, thinking about how his earlier plan had failed. No matter though, things were actually turning for the better this way.

He flashed through several handseals and focused his chakra as his chest seemingly expanded when he took a deep breath. “Fuuton: Kamaitachi!” he exhaled, blowing a great wind into the ice prison that Kii had remained in. There was no room for escape considering the speed the technique was used at, so even busting out with an exploding tag didn’t seem plausible in Axcel’s eyes. Since he was able to breath under water, using this technique was possible and it was even more efficient here. The reason was because water was mixed in with the whirlwind, creating a stronger effect.

“Lets see him get out of this one!”

Kamaitachi (Cutting Whirlwind)

Description: The shinobi uses a fan or the correct elemental affinity to blow a concussive wind that is imbued with their Chakra. When the opponent is caught in the wind, a tornado will raise them into the air and hold them with the Chakra. The wind will then begin to cut the target like a sickle.
Limits: Fan Type Weapon or Elemental to Fuuton.

Kii braced himself. The water bubbled up for a moment, before releasing a torrent of wind and water towards Kii. Instinctively, his hands rose in front of him, as if to 'protect' his body. This, of course, wouldn't help, but Kii had little worries.

Being a ninjutsu master, Kii was able to recognize the technique as 'Fuuton: Kamaitaichi', even without Axcel's jumbled announcement. This meant it was a chuunin-ranked jutsu, and probably the last his ice guard could take. An explosion, a Genin-rank jutsu, and now a Chuunin-rank jutsu. The ice guard had fulfilled its duties excellently, but shattered as it moved to take a majority of the hit. Little of the jutsu was able to pass by his now shattered guard, but what did left tiny scratches over most of his body.

To be able to form a fuuton-type jutsu beneath water...He'll be down there for much longer than I up here... Kii sighed, and reached into his pouch to retrieve an exploding tag. There was a small splash as Kii landed atop the water's surface to lay a tag against the wall, and jumped backwards, out of reach of the explosion. He formed a single handseal, which set off the tag within a short amount of time, giving Kii a way out of his prison, which he gladly took.

Axcel had a wide grin on his face at the sight of his attack being a success. It could have been better, but several minor cuts will go a long way when taking the weather of Yukigakure into consideration. The grin soon faded away though as he was reminded what he was fighting for. He was fighting a missing-ninja of Yukigakure, which was punishable by death.

He quickly swam around his ice prison and towards the surface of the water. Upon spotting Kii, Axcel focused his chakra and began moving faster and faster until he eventually disappeared and reappeared high above Kii. The only thing that could be felt was the cold aura that he gave off as a result of his Kaishin bloodline.

Under normal circumstances, being caught in the air would be a very bad thing. However, Axcel had a plan of his own. As he soared up in the air he made a single handseal and water around Kii began to rise in a circle around him. The water separated at quickly formed 800 needles of water which all pointed at Kii from a downwards angle. His only escape from death now was up towards Axcel, and he had better hoped he was able to jump high.

While the needles fired, Axcel took out 6 shurikens, 3 in each hand, and threw them downwards towards Kii. If he jumped up, he would most likely take a direct hit from at least one of his shurikens. If not, then he would be fatally wounded by his water needles, all while having to deal with the area around him getting colder. He hoped Kii had a high pain tolerance. Well, not really.

Description: This is the basis of using the Sensatsu Suisho. When first learned the user gains the capability of using this technique to where they are only capable of creating a hundred Water Like needles and then directs them a specific target at high speed, leaping backwards before impact so then the user doesn't get caught in the crossfire. The user is capable of using this as well to shoot the needles towards other directions that does not interface with the user. This technique can be raised by how many needles will be created. Each time the user learns this technique they gain the capability of forming a hundred more needles. This technique can only be learned nine times before the user has to go up a higher rank to learn this technique.
Limit: Suiton Soushi (Water Creation). Must have the Water Release. Must be part of the Kaishin Bloodlimit. Must have knowledge of Kuri Buki E Rank

Kii assessed the situation immediately. If he were able to create another ice guard, he was afraid that there were too many needles to be blocked...And, that he wasn't familiar with the jutsu itself presented a problem. His ice guard may not even be able to take the beating that the needles would dish out. This same problem also presented itself at the thought of using his snow wall technique- that, and that he wouldn't be able to protect himself from all sides.

From above, Axcel had attempted to block the exit. There was a simple solution which Kii came to- shunshin. Axcel had used it, or so it seemed, and Kii would mimic the ability. He looked dramatically upwards, his hand reaching into his pouch at his side. Before he was able to retrieve a kunai from within, he dissapeared, reappearing behind Axcel. Along the way, Axcel's weaponry had been diverted from their path by Kii, and he now began to form a single handseal from directly behind his opponent- ram. With that, water from below quickly writhed upwards, wrapping a bit around Kii's arms before lashing forward in an attempt to constrict Axcel and rob him of any movement, "Suiton: Rikkido Haji no Jutsu!"

Should the jutsu succeed, Kii planned to lift his arms up as he began to fall and send chakra into his feet so that he would land upon the water. As he fell, he would jerk his arms downwards, attempting to slam Axcel down on the jagged ice near the small island in the pond.

Effect: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported.
Special: ---
Drawback" The user is only capable of doing this THREE Times per day after learning it the first time. Each time learned the user is capable of going into this multiple times. Each time learned the user is capable using this technique an extra turn per day. If the user uses this technique more then stated, the user's muscles will cramp and render the user unable to run about.
Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination. Shisui Uchiha, one of the most talented Uchiha, was feared as "Shisui of the Body Flicker" ("Shunshin no Shisui"), likely referring to this technique.

Effect: Causes water to wrap around the users arms, then stetches forward as a string of water from each arm, two inches in diameter. The water will wrap around the opponent to hold them.

Axcel's grin slowly faded away as Kii disappeared from sight. His eyes widened when he felt a presence behind him, without a doubt it was Kii. He had to think of something and quick or his life would be ended in a flash. He had no time to think though, because soon a liquid from the pond wrapped around his falling body, gripping him tightly.

"Wha-what the heck?!" Axcel yelled as the water gripped tighter and tighter until movement of any kind was taken away from him. The water that had gripped around him began to guide him over the solid ground, and he knew right away what was going to happen next. His body would be slammed onto the ground which could easily fracture or even break a bone. If that happened, the tide of the battle would certainly flip to Kii’s side.

“Shit! This can’t be happening! If I die here then I’ll never find out…” Axcel’s eyes were shut as his thoughts strayed from reality and the world around him darkened. He could feel his body moving quickly towards the ground. Axcel’s kekkai genkai which he was still unsure or fully aware of kicked in as his eyes shot open. Description: By using and understanding the formation and basics of Cryomancy the user pushes their chakra past around them in a large circle, doing this and pushing in their understanding the Bloodlimit Kaishin is capable of lowering and dropping the temperatures within the certain distance in order to create ice for their techniques to use. A conventional Ice User must have cold climate in order for the user their techniques, but with the Kaishin bloodlimit allows a user to create Ice Techniques without the option of litterally having cold climate. This technique allows the user to drop temperatures to the point of water freezing allowing the user to create Ice Techniques. When first learned the user is capable of pushing off in the distance of Five meters for the user to create their techniques, where the user drops the temperature towards the right respectable limit. Each time learned the distance increases by ten meters. When first learned the user is only capable of creating techniques of C-Rank formation. After twenty meters the distance increases to B-Rank Training and the user is capable of using B-Rank Techniques. When the user reaches the distance of fourty Meters the training increases to A-Rank Training and the user is capable of performing A-Rank Techniques. When the user reaches at the A-Rank Stage the Ice techniques can not be melted away by conventional means. The only way capable of getting through is by crushing through the ice techniques. When the distance reaches to Sixty Meters the user reaches to his final form of training and must learn the S-Rank version of this technique to perform S-Rank techniques but must be learned with a S-Rank Training.

Description: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited; however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state. When first learned the user is capable of having or capable of creating up to Five Clones. Each time learned the user learns this technique the number of Clones is capable of increasing by one. The maximum amount of clones is Ten for the Difficulty Class of D Rank. For each Difficulty Rank Increase the number increases by five of maximum but learning is still one per learned.
