{Kitchen}
The kitchen is styled between modern and past times. The benches are varnish-coated wood with smooth black bench-tops. Wooden cutting boards and sharp cutting knives are at the cooks command. State of the art ovens, microwaves, toasters, grillers, stoves, pans, fridges, freezers and kettles are also up for offer. Pots and pans gleam with their polished surfaces, knives, forks, spoons and smooth wooden chopsticks are neatly stored in a draw out of the way but ready for use. Good china cups and plates are used for the guest room, slightly inexpensive Tupperware used for everyday occasions.
And the in-the-wall pantry is always full to the brim of a good selection of foods and goods.

{Front of mansion}
The Koukan Mansion is a tall creamy-white, 2 story building; very long and very wide. It is built in a squared “U” shape; the flat edge being the front, and the 2 points marking the back. It has many windows and a long pathway to the front entrance. Framing the path to the entrance of the house is a well kept hedge with spots of white flowers.
The house is complimented with trees and vegetation in the finest greens and specks of bright coloured flowers lay scattered over the grass and hedges. Located on the left and right side of the path to the entrance of the Mansion is 2 large fountains of crystal clear water; with a rim big enough to sit upon to stare at one’s reflection in the calm waters.
A Tall fence runs around the entire property; to keep prying eyes out. The trees may have been cleared partly from the land inside the fence, but outside the fence the trees grow thick and tall; adding to the secrecy of this Mansions location. Mist always hangs about the thick forest beyond the fence, but it thins out and completely disappears once it hits the walls of the Koukan yakata Mansion.
The grass is green and soft beneath ones feet, the garden always kept to a neat status and the windows are always shining from recent cleaning; this Mansion is really one to stop and look at.
{Back of Mansion}
The back of the Mansion is in no way cut off from the front of the Mansion; as in most houses it is cut off by a fence. No, the beginning and end of the back yard and the front yard are determined by one’s own eye.
The back yard is as green and well kept as the front, but the back yard is somewhat bigger than the front yard. Trees and a thick hedge frame the yard by the fence; to keep people out, and training in. There is a large clearing among the vegetation; a football field big to be precise. This area is used for combat and training.
On the other side of the yard is a thick cluster of tame hedges and flowerbeds; all around another concrete fountain. Seats of white metal, curled in fancy patterns; are placed about in this cluster of vegetation; making this the ideal place for centring ones self, or simply to read a book among the fresh air.
The back of the Mansion is like the top of a squared “U”, and the two points are connected by well constructed decking and veranda; marking a porch and the back door to the Mansion. This deck is equipped with wooden tables and chairs; for outdoor meals and activity.
Beyond this portico is a well sized in-ground pool; with a wooden frame. This pool has 2 metre wall at the head with a miniature scale forest fountain, complete with rocks and small green vegetation to add to the effect. The pool has a depth from 0.7 meters (shallow end) to 7 meters (deep end). This pool has an inbuilt diving board and a semicircle cut out of one of the straight walls; the arc lined with comfortable seats and foot space for relaxation. A spa or hot tub is built in next to the pool, also in-ground. It is large enough for 7 users, and has a ranging elevation of seats to suit the short and the tall alike.
{Green house}
The green house is settled at one of the corners at the back of the yard; behind the thick cluster of vegetation and hedges. It is a tall; see-through tent, about 4 meters in length and 3 meters in width. Herbs, Medicinal plants and flowers are grown here on one of the 2 long tables lining the walls.
It is set in an area where the trees were removed enough for the sun to penetrate its walls from the moment the sun rises and until it sets.
Pots hang from the lining of the roof filled with falling vines and flowers; setting this little tent into a dazzle of greens and bright happy colours.
{Lounge room}
An inviting room of comfort and friendly conversation, the lounge room is made for guests and house members alike. 3 creamy-white coloured couches sit in a square of 3 sides; the 4th holding a large plasma screen T.V. The couches are so soft one might sink in a few centimetres once seated and each couch is lined with a reasonable sum of cushions. A coffee table at knee height sits in the centre of the 3 couches, holding the remotes to the television and a assortment of magazines and recently read books. This coffee table has an inbuilt chess board; the glass pieces set in a little draw on the side of the table.
The walls of the lounge room are a-lined with shelves of reading material of all sort. Paintings sent from overseas and within the country are lined neatly on the walls providing a break in colour and style. Board games and card games are set nearly on a shelf of its own; a little bag of fake coins providing safe gambling.
This room is well lit with large windows; set as to when the sun sets, colours of orange, vermilion and pink dance across the walls. Overall a nice room for relaxation.
{Guest rooms}
The guest rooms are simple but comfortable, in total there are 4 all stationed on the second floor. They all contain a double bed, with forest green bed covers and a deep mahogany bed frame. On the left side of the bed is a night stand, made of the same mahogany from the bed frame. On the right side is a small mahogany square chest of drawers containing 3 drawers vertically placed from one another. The room is painted with a forest green finish, making peaceful yet tasteful and completely unorientated to either sex perfect for any guests that reside with in.
{Bathrooms}
There are 2 bathrooms; one set on the first and second floor of the Mansion. It consists of one tall and wide shower, one bath / hot tub, a bench holding 2 sinks with a large overhead mirror and a towel rack.
The toilet is set in a room just outside the bathroom door; again one on the first and second floor of the mansion. The bathrooms and toilet rooms alike are shiny with white tiles lining the walls and blight blue tiles lining the floors; and each has a lock providing privacy.

{Aclime's room}
Aclime’s room is occupied by a small collection of simple yet classy furniture. His bed is a full sized mattress that could fit two, though he is commonly the only person in the room itself. The sheets are thin and dark brown with a navy blue comforter on top and two fluffy pillows line the top of the bed. The frame of it is a sleek and elegant glazed hardwood. There is a bedside dresser with a small lamp and a candle on the side of it.
A small dresser/desk sits near the door lined against the wall. It is lined with a few pens and pencils, various books and scrolls, and a single book marked as private. Along this dresser/desk, a manila folder with a few important documents such as transfer papers and a passport marked as Gekkido. The book marked as private is a small journal with many jumbled notes and thoughts about various dreams and things that have happened since his stay in mist.
The walls of the room are painted a deep cerulean blue with dark brown trimming near the floor. The window is draped with blue and beige curtains. The carpet is also white, covering the majority of the room. The room has a single window that points to the backyard directly opposite of the door.
In the right side corner of the room is a built in closet which houses all of the clothing Aclime commonly wears as well as a few formal clothes worn on a few occasions. Besides clothing, there is a shelf inside the closet with a few knickknacks and items occasionally used for various activities
{Mika’s room}
Mika’s room is populated by all things fluffy, soft and pink. Her walls are hot pink and her carpet is a soft cushiony white. She has a queen sized bed, covers alternating between slivers, pinks and whites, with many pillows with cloud like comfort. Added to her bed is a large collection of teddy bears - big and small alike (many people wonder where Mika actually sleeps).
Mika has a large desk populated with open books, spare parchment and pens. She has a large shelf to which these books belong; all the shelves full to the point which she has to pile new books on her desk! Mika was always an artist, so pencils, paper, paints and artist tools are stored semi-neatly 2 of her 3 desk draws; to which she pulled out on many occasions.
She has a neat in-wall wardrobe filled with her small selection of clothing; more casual than formal. Her bed-side draw is populated with medical supplies and pamphlets to which she carries with her everywhere she goes.
Mika’s room is messy, but not to the point of no movement allowed. Books, paper and clothing thinly layer the floor, but whenever company is expected; she quickly neatens up the room.
Mika has a cat; a tubby little kitten called Bofu. He lives in Mika’s room; a little kitty basket for him to sleep in sits at the end of Mika’s bed... but Bofu always prefers to sleep on Mika’s bed.
