Description: As of late the Amekage has been working hard on reviving the streangth and glory of Amegakure. Thus a proposition has been made, The idea of a Water Belt Alliance. Mizugakure, Takigakure, and Amegakure, all working together to achieve wealth and glory is quite a desirable situation expecially in Amegakures current state. The Mission objective is simply to travel to mist, and find the Mizukage, convince him to join the Alliance, and then travel with a Mizu Shinobi to Takigakure and propose the idea to him.
Objective: Manage to convince the Mizukage and the Takikage to sign the treaty binding them to the Water Belt Alliance.
Payment: 5000 Ryo

Zag had followed his map into the capital city of the land of water, it was the first forign town he'd even seen, up till now he believed all villages look like the rain village, all bright lights and iron towers that stab the sky, but before him was a relativly small town with short buildings, he approuched its front gates, pausing shortly to take off his headband and hide it in his flak jacket, even though he was on a mission to form an alliance with the mist village he did'nt wan't to be immediatly attacked as a rain intruder.

He made his way through the main streets, passing by people who just looked like civilians to him, he'd just realised even if he could find a mist ninja he'd have no idea how he'd convince them to give him access to their village, but for now he had to find someone, either mist ninja or not, who'd give him access to the gate.

The silent angel landed beside the walking Ame nin. She remained calm and professional as she walked beside him. Her wings flapped once more before they started melting back into her body, they slow reentered into Amegakure's Angel, and to anyone else, she was no angel, a simple woman. As soon as her wings had vanished she took out her glasses from her pocket and adjusted them upon her nose. She softly rubbed her wrists before looking at her teammate for the mission, she wondered why Souzen had asked Zag to participate in this mission, this was the type of mission Mitsukai was made for. She excelled and being a messenger, yet he had sent other nin to play politicians? It made no sense to the Ame nin.

''Hello Zag.'' The kunoichi said calmly as she walked behind him, she coughed, holding her hands before her mouth, as she had been taught by the Odayaka clan. ''Follow me we should be sending a bird to the Hidden Mist Village, hopefully they'll send someone to come and get us.'' Amegakure's Angel instructed as she moved forward silently towards the embassy within the Capital, there she would be able to send a messenger bird to the Mizukage. She had never met the Mizukage yet she hoped her eloquent speech would get a working alliance between both water-inspired villages.

The raven-haired kunoichi marched onward, she did not wait for the other Rain shinobi, he would need to walk at her base, not the opposite.

Zags head snapped back when he heard his name, his eyes were wide with surprise and his heart stopped with a sudden twing of fear, for a second he thought it was that devil Ayake again, but when he realised it was some one else he calmed down and let out a quiet sigh, then when she talked about sending a message to the mist village he realised it was another rain ninja sent on this mission to mizu, albiet the kunoichi was more suitable for such a negotiation, he knew he was'nt excatly the right type of person for politics so he was relieved that some else was here now.

As he followed the kunoichi to the embassy a few questions came to his mind, for one thing she had'nt given her name yet knew his, another question was just how many rain ninja have been sent on this mission, it seemed at this rate the village would be totally empty and everyone would be here in the land of water, not in the mood for much talking he just picked the first one to ask, he caught up with her and walked beside her "Whats your name?" he asked, his eyes narrowing with subtle suspicion, after he was attacked by Ayake's sharingan he had much less trust with even fellow rain ninja.

The woman glided upon the stone steps into the building where she would be sending the messengers. Her stilleto shoes hit the stone, sending sounds vibrating around. The streets were emptying themselves, the only people to hear the sounds created by her feet were Zag and herself. The woman happened upon the door and froze as she heard her new companion talking to her, asking a question. She turned around for her moment, her eyes meeting with his. She betrayed no emotion, her posture perfect, as expected of someone of the famous Odayaka family, she had to be the image of the perfect woman and wife.

''You do not know who Amegakure's Angel is? The Amekage's assistant right hand woman stands unbeknownst before you?'' Mitsukai said before pushing the door open and entering the room. She spoke with the man at the desk, explaining in brief sentences why she was there and what services she required. The man nodded and started the preparations, soon he gave paper and ink. The woman did not pay any attention to the Genin that tagged along with her. The woman's fingers moved swiftly upon the surface of the parchment. Within the next few minutes the message was complete and the paper was handed to the man. The man soon disappeared behind the counter and released a bird towards the Village Hidden in Mist.

Amegakure's Angel spun upon her feet and walked out of the room, passing beside Zag she simply whispered. ''And now we wait.'' And with that she walked out of the building and lingered in front, she did as she had said, waited.

Zags eyes narrowed further at her words as he continued following her, he didn't care that she was the amekages assistant, but the way she spoke and even acted she seemed so unnecessarily smug to him, that and the fact that she didn't properly answer his question "Amegakure's angel isn't a name." he muttered under his breath, he ascended the steps to the embassy behind her quietly, he had more questions but figured another rain ninja will probably pop up soon and he'd just ask who ever it is instead of the kunoichi before him.

With the message sent and nothing left to do but wait for a reply Zag rolled his eyes and left the building, although it wasn't raining he took one of his parasols out and opened it up above his head, using it as a sunshade, and sat on the embassy's concrete steps and simply waited as well, so far this mission was going kind of pear shaped for him, so he just thought about the payment he'll be getting when its over.

Finally....Jin had arrive at Mashimizu, the capitol of the water country. A lively place it was, much taller buildings than in Kirigakure. It seemed odd to him that a single genin would be sent on such an important mission, He must have really impressed the higher ranks with his latest work! Or maybe everyone else was just too busy to take care of the mission.

He made his way down a seemingly empty street, his headband dangled loosely from his throat. He had no intention of hiding the fact that he was a Kirigakure shinobi, he was proud of his village and the people of Mizu no Kuni were very hospitable to their own fighters.

As he made his way down the street his right hand dropped to his side, gently it gripped the scroll carrier on his thigh. His red eyes scanned the local area. There was little to no one in sight, other then the two that stood idly outside the Mashimizu Embassy. A young boy and a girl, could they really be the ones from Ame? He wouldn't be able to tell from his distance, if they weren't the ones he was sent to find then he would simply search further. Mitsuhiro said the nin would be in the capitol somewhere, it was just the simple task of finding them.

A sigh escaped his lips, Jin preferred not to spend too much time outdoors. Mizu was too wet... It would be best for him to get indoors quickly. He advanced on the Embassy, it was best to start his search there after all. He stopped at the steps momentarily simply to glance over the two that were there. A light sandy odor emitted from the Kirigakure genin.

Zag was bored by the waiting, he got up off the embassy steps and streched his legs then reached into his flak jacket to take out his headband and tied it around his head where it usually was, no point hiding where he was from anymore, he had a look around, barely a soul was out this time of day, the streets were practically barren, but he did notice one person, way on the other end of the road, 'He must have just got here.' thought Zag, from this distance he could'nt see him that well, he hoped it was the mist nin, anything to hurry up this mission so he could get back to amegakure.

The stranger in the distance started climbing to stairs, Zag's eyes following his ascent, looking for a village insignia or something to show he's the ninja sent to take them to the hidden mist village, finally when the ninja was close enough Zag saw a headband being worn around the strangers coller, he actually did'nt know what the mist insignia looked like but he took a guess and figured the four little squiggles was it, eventually what Zag assumed to be a mist ninja had reached the embassy and was about to head inside when he stopped and briefly looked at the two, thats when Zag spoke up "Are you looking for rain ninja?" he asked, a tone of half interest clear in his speech "We're supposed to wait for some one from kirigakure to take us there."

Mitsukai crossed her arms and simply remained silent as she waited for their escort or at least waited for an individual from the Village Hidden in the Mist. She had heard many things about this Hidden Village, it seemed quite the place to see in one's lifetime. Amegakure's Angel had travelled all around the continent, yet she wanted to especially see Kirigakure. Soon another individual approached the embassy. Mitsu swiftly got up to her feet, her eyes behind the spectacles scanning the figure before her. She was quick to note the head band adorned upon the man's neck. Incrusted within the metal was the symbol of the Mist Village.

''Hello.'' The Odayaka said calmly. Her hands remained at her sides, not too far from her pouch. She had no idea if the Kiri shinobi before her was one that came in peace, maybe the Mizukage had seen her message yet had no interest in allying with Amegakure, which is why she was prepare for any event, may it swing her way or not.

''Have you come about the letter I have sent to your village's leader?'' Mitsukai added.

Jin wasted no time, it appeared clear to him that the two befor him were the very shinobi he was sent to retrieve. But befor he could take them, he would have to question them. If only a little, it would be foolish to simply take two random 'shinobi' to his hidden village. If Kirigakure shinobi were willing to do that, the village wouldn't remain 'hidden' for very long.

He stood calmly, his left arm rose so he could rub the back of his head soothingly while he spoke. The soft silken shirt he wore so loosely had folded with his movements, His right still remained casually at his scroll pouch for no other reason then the comfortable position it allowed him. Both of the shinobi spoke out to him, but it seemed apparant which one was the leader. Jin's red eyes shot over to her as she spoke.

''Have you come about the letter I have sent to your village's leader?''

"Ah yes, My village has recieved such a letter. But not the late Mizukage, but rather the Anbu were the ones to intercept it."

His words held a slight sorrow.

"You see, Our Mizukage has just recently died. I'm sure by the time I get back to Kirigakure the funeral will allready be proceeding."

His facial features went from that of sorrow to glee. Perhaps he was just insane, Mist was well known for putting out odd Shinobi after all. The genin chuckled lightly at his own thoughts, which were currently about the 'funny umbrella dealy' that Zag was carrying. He would of course keep his thoughts to himself, and remain on topic with the two Amegakure shinobi.

"Befor I can bring you to my village, I'll just have to see some proof that you are the people I'm seeking. Perhaps a mission statement or something of like?"

Jin was able to ask his question in a tone that seemed at the same time friendly, and unfriendly. It was also accompanied by an eerie smile. His head only slightly tilted to the side.

Finally the representative had arrived, Zag listened quietly to the banter between AA and the mist ninja, he was rather surprised to hear that their mizukage had died, looks like the two villages did have some similarities, even if it's the high mortality rate in kages, Zag got up onto his feet and stood next to the rain kunoichi, all the while keeping his parasol in hand and trying to keep a cool but guarded demeanor, inside though he was actually laughing at the accent the mist ninja had and was thinking how hilarious it would be if they all talked like this one did.

The mist nin asked to see some sort of mission statement, luckily Zag had one from when he volunteered for this mission at the tower, he reached into his flak jacket and pulled out the mission briefing and opened it for the mist nin to see "Here, we're supposed to propose an alliance between the rain village and both the mist village and waterfall village to their respective kages, we've come here first." he rolled to scroll back up and held it out for the mist nin to take "Oh... and sorry to hear about your mizukage being dead." he added, glaring at the odd mist ninja's expression, Zag just figured this guy was trying to Psyche him out, something that would be easier if he didn't smell like a beach.

Their Mizukage had died recently, was Kirigakure in a fragile state? What had happened to the Mist Village, had they been recently attacked? Had the man or woman died of old age? Or had it been an assassination within the walls of the village, had the leader been corrupted? So many answers, yet Amegakure's Angel had no answer. She looked into the man's eyes as she listened to him speak. Zag was the one to show the proper papers, giving proof that they had been the small team that had been sent to perform a peacefully treaty or an alliance between both the water-themed villages. It is only after Zag revealed the papers that Mitsukai spoke. She had waited for her turn, being the polite Odayaka that she had been raised to be.

''Please accept my condolence towards you and your village for your recent lost. We Amegakure shinobi know how it feels, we have seen our share of our leaders' deaths.'' Mitsu said, her voice betrayed a slight emotion, one of sorrow, it was not of intense sadness, yet one could easily determine that she was serious and was not lying.

''If it is possible, we would like to attend the funeral. We would like to prove that Amegakure is ready to prove their worth to Kirigakure in times of need. Of course I would understand if this is a no, we know how people can feel when one has passed on, they may feel betrayed if someone of another village is present. Yet I feel it would be strategic for both of our villages if we could pay our respects to your late Mizukage as he passes to the other side.'' Amegakure's Angel further explained. The last portion of her speech had less emotion, she had returned to her former self, trying to figure out two or three steps ahead, taking the paths that would be better for her mother country, Ame no Kuni.

Her posture was straight, her hands remained to her side yet sometimes they would sway as she spoke. Her eyes were kept on the Kiri shinobi, especially his body language, trying to determine if was he was saying was sincere, which it seemed to be. Her braided hair fell to her back, and she simply waited for an answer from the shinobi before her.

Jin reached out and took the papers gingerly. His red oculars examined the documents while he listened to the two Amegakure shinobi. He turned the sheet this way and that, as if he were trying to make heads or tails of the thing. After a few moments of just examining the sheet he was satisfied. Jin folded the papers back up and prepared to place them in his own pouch.

"I would like to hold on to these so I can present them to the Anbu that guard my village gate, it will surely allow passage for us all."

And that was it, they were in. It was just a task of traveling to Kirigakure now. Jin cared little about the death of his Mizukage, yes it was a sad event but his village had gone through a vast amount of leaders in a short time. The stinging pain of a leader lost was almost like a pin prick at this point. Jin grinned at the two Amegakure shinobi.

"Both of your sympathies are appreciated. I would love for you both you to come to the funeral, afterall....what better place to meet people?"

He let loose a light chuckle befor turning from the two Amegakure shinobi. He waved lightly for them to follow.

"Lets go!"

And with that he was gone, a light gust of wind replaced his form and in a moment his body was relocated ten meters from his position on the steps. From there his gaze looked back one final time befor he performed a second shunshin and went further down the street. Jin was eager to get back to his village, and he did not intend on walking the distance. The faster he could get back the better.

When the mist nin took the scroll Zag crossed his arms and listen to what was pretty much a speech from the rain kunoichi, she seemed to go on forever about, but eventually the mist nin seemed satisfied and said that they would be granted passage to his village.

When the odd mist nin headed off Zag let out a muttered groan and looked sideways at AA "Do we really need to go their kages funeral?" he said, the annoyance clear in his voice ", he sighed then leaned his parasol on his shoulder and made a few hand-seals, then threw his parasol and stepped onto its pole, immediately he flew off after the mist nin direction.

As the Mist-nin finished examining the papers and invited the two individuals to Kirigakure, a small smirk appeared upon Mitsukai's face, they had gotten in. Now to attend this funeral and then she could hopefully meet up with the new Mizukage if one had been appointed that is. It could probably work her way if the Mizukage was new, maybe he would want some help as he started rising to power.

And with this long white wings sprouted out of the kunoichi's back and soon she was running foward, her wings beating elegantly behind her before she was lifted into the air. Soon she was flying close to the ground, keeping herself up with the speed of the two other shinobi. ''You do as you please Zag, I am not your mother, you are not obliged to attend, I will though.'' Mitsukai said simply as she flew beside her fellow Ame nin.
