He walked from the burning clearing within the forest of Oto no Kuni. Wandering the land he asked several he found to the location of a nearby Dojo. All gave the same answer, thus he walked on 'til at last he arrived within the City of Dante and moved to the Kenjutsu Dojo. Stepping into the building he looked around and saw a woman teaching a class and shouted to her. "Oi, I'm here for some Battoujutsu training!" Turning she quickly threw a wooden projectile at the man which he stopped with the flat end of his sword, "You gunna teach me or what?"
Smirking at him she nodded and began with the basics, simply showing him the stance. It seemed he was expected to imitate the style to create the look of the stance. Though it was a simplistic stance Marasu held a disadvantage due to his blade being wrapped about his fake hand. A smirk formed upon his features as the silver locked male saw the challenge in the act. Slowly he bent his knees to mimic the bowing way she stood, simple movements they were, yet the basics were always simple.
From his half bowing stance the single handed shifted his blade bearing hand to the opposing hip. Blade pointed back his palm moved to hover an inch away from the blade, halfway down. It was a close imitation of the woman's stance modified as he had needed and did with all of his alterations. The two gazed at each other, sizing each other up and gauging the solidity of each other's stances.
