If you're going to post a contest...

For all contest holders:
Lately I have been seeing many contests. Some of those contest have not been specific enough which makes it hard for a lot of contest entries to be confused on what to do. Please note that if you post a contest please try to make it specific as possible to help ensure a good contest and results. An easy way to make a guideline would be such as this:


[b]Type:[/b] (What kind of contest? Signature? Avatar? Banner? Coloring? Drawing? Etc.)
[b]Length of contest:[/b] (How long will the contest be held? Please say how long. If you say no rush, try to at least make a due date to close it so that it will not be open for so long. You can extend the contest if you'd like but just make a post saying it was extended or such.)
[b]Award:[/b] (The eye-catcher of all of it. How much will be awarded?)
[b]Pictures:[/b] (Post any links or pictures in here. If posting a picture please add spoilers to it to not stretch the page by doing a spoiler code with brackets in it - [] - and dont forget to end it with a /spoiler with brackets in it.)
[b]Colors:[/b] (What colors would you like on the item, if any.)
[b]Size:[/b] (How big? Small? Etc.)
[b]Text:[/b] (Want it to say anything?)
[b]Skin:[/b] (What skin are you using? As in the background of the site. By giving the skin, the contest entries withh be able to create a skin to go well with your skin choice.)
[b]Changes:[/b] (What changes made to anything, if any)
[b]Others:[/b] (Anything else added, deleted, or such to it?)


Of course you don't HAVE TO follow this outline. but it's just a general outline to help out anyone making a contest. But if not using the outline just remember, PLEASE BE SPECIFIC AND THE CONTEST MUST BE WITHIN THE SITE RULES. Thank you for your time.
