Pattern Perception
Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: With this technique the user is capable of performing Jutsus that deals with the type of perception of Pattern kind.
Special: ---
Drawback: Without this the user is unable to perform Jutsus dealing with the Pattern Perception.
Description: Pattern Perception are like figments, a pattern technique creates an image that others can see, but a pattern also affects the minds of those who see it or are caught in it. This means that those who are trapped within Pattern Perception Techniques are also affected by other sensations that affects the mind itself such as blindness, unconscious, stunned, or even nausea. In affect, Patterns are very similar to Figment, however they have added affect used to subdue an opponent, harming their inner mind in a certain way to allow the user to perform more harmful techniques or escape without problems.

Miyako would settle in a clearing near the capital, crossing her legs under her as she sat on the soft grass surrounding her. Of course, she couldn't really feel the grass, being in tough, thick red leather. The air was cool, from being so close to the ocean. The ocean, she wasn't too fond of it when she was actually on it, being seasick and all, but that was only one time, and that was litterally the only time she had been on a boat on the sea or even been to the ocean.
She sighed rested her arms on her legs, thinking. She wanted to learn some perceptions. She didn't know any genjutsu. It would be interesting. Pulling out a book she had got not too long ago and had brought with her, Miyako glided her gloved hand over its surface. Reaching over, she pulled her glove off, and than went back to feeling the hard cover. It was made of some kind of animal hide, she reckoned cow hide, for it looked to be leather. Brown leather, with words etched into the cover with the title of "Perceptions and Their Many Skills".
Opening the cover, she went to reading about the perception she was interested in as of now: Pattern Perception. Under the appropriate title for patterns, was the text: Patterns are the way things fit together. Everything and everyone has their own unique patter, their own genetic makeup. Things things can be altered, or made to look altered, with certain perceptions. These are Patterns, and Figments. Both aren't very different, but patterns mess with the users mind too, affecting it like their victims. Only with a focused mind can one pass this.
She nodded. She thought she understood well enough. Everything had a pattern. Like in a person, the way their family line is, each having similarities. That was a pattern. Or the way a tree twisted or the way the bark looked on it. That was a pattern. Altering it, at least in the imagination, would be a powerful thing indeed if used correctly. The simplest of changes could turn the tide of battle. Like making the illusion if rain when fighting a lightning user. Rain is bad for lightning, so they would stop.
She decided that she would have to try that one sometime, it would be interesting indeed.
