Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: With this technique the user is capable of performing Jutsus that deals with the type of perception of Pattern kind.
Special: ---
Drawback: Without this the user is unable to perform Jutsus dealing with the Pattern Perception.
Description: Pattern Perception are like figments, a pattern technique creates an image that others can see, but a pattern also affects the minds of those who see it or are caught in it. This means that those who are trapped within Pattern Perception Techniques are also affected by other sensations that affects the mind itself such as blindness, unconscious, stunned, or even nausea. In affect, Patterns are very similar to Figment, however they have added affect used to subdue an opponent, harming their inner mind in a certain way to allow the user to perform more harmful techniques or escape without problems.

The scroll screamed at me as I stood there watching it. I had to make sure that I was actually going to do this. I sighed. I actually was. The purple scroll with the velvet lace sat their louder than ever calling my name. I must have been insane to continue forward than just staring at it but either way I did. I reached downwards hoping for me to recognize the mistake I am making. I didn't. I untied the lace quietly and surely and the voices stopped. As I looked upon the ink that was placed on the scroll I took a deep breath and continued.
The first technique was to alter the perception of the mind and create a false sensation for the opponent to feel. I sighed. It wasn’t so bad. I read the description of the jutsu that I could fully understand what I was doing. After analyzing the data carefully I began to work. The genjutsu was designed to affect the mind of his opponent. Bending the actual reality of things to shape his or her own reality. I sighed. Was this a mistake? I shivered. My hands shook. Dear God I hope I am not making a mistake.
I had to get the hand seals down first. Rat, Boar, Ox. These where the three hand seals needed to complete the first act of the jutsu. Hand seals were the worst part of his academy training. This was because he never leavened how to do them fast enough. He kept on forgetting them and how to do them and such to the extent that he gave up on it. It was a miracle on how he survived through the academy. After processing through everything the first time he began to work carefully and smoothly.
I found a squirrel that was just lying on the ground sleeping. This was my new test subject. The Figment Perception was used to create a false sensation. I was going to create the false sensation of itching for the squirrel. I did the three hand seals in the order they were listed in. I could feel the chakra emitting from my hands transferring brain waves towards the squirrel. I stayed calm and collected while exhaling and inhaling.
Suddenly the squirrel raised its head. I remained my focus on it. It began twitching. This was a good sign to say that his jutsu was actually working. Suddenly the squirrel raised its leg and began scratching the back of his head like a dog. I sighed with the content look upon my face. I did not hurt myself in the process of learning a genjutsu. His fears had been all for nothing. He faced the scroll once again to learn the following technique.
