Drawback: Wire in the palm, over time, can undo itself from the gloves, making repair required semi-often.
Description: A pair of full gloves, with studs on the knuckles, and sharper studs on the fingertips. On the palm of the glove, ninja wire is used, to add an extra cutting effect in the case of a grab. The cuts from the wire aren't much, but more than ten, albeit tiny, cuts on a vital place like the wrist or neck can make a difference.

An unusually quiet boy for his age, often staring off into the distance, eyes glazed over. And with seemingly no heed of his surroundings. Occasionally, he can be found looking directly at a wall, for hours on end, with no contact with the outside world. Sometimes he can't even be spoken to while in this "Trance-like" state, and must be roused as if he were sleeping.Appearance:
However, when he does talk, it's usually something with meaning, or a simple "Hello, how are you," and rarely in-between. To the few who he talks in excess to, he has a sort of strange sense of humor. He has a tendency to call everyone "Brother," or "Sister." When drunk, which is surprisingly often, he'll always be seen with a smile on his face, and words in the air in front of him. All in all, being drunk seems to alter his personality... not that that's new to the world of drink.
Hogo's height and weight make him a fairly thin man, with muscles around his body, although not very noticeable under his clothing. Most often he tends to wear a long, lightly colored, thin closed jacket. A loose dark green shirt rests underneath, with the kanji for "Boom" (ブーム) on the front of the shirt. His arms are long, going down to just above his knees, are not covered entirely by his jacket, and barely covered by the shirt. His face is fairly oval, with a well rounded chin that usually has whiskers sprouting from it. His nose is a little big, although not so much that it's immediately noticeable. For pants, most often he'll be wearing full length light brown pants, with ties a few inches above the ankles. Two sake bottles rest on the side of his right leg, held up by a pair of straps, just above the knee. His fairly large feet are covered by a pair of sole-less sandals, although there are times when he simply walks around barefooted.

Effect: A technique where the user takes the time to formulate, or create Rock in order to use other types of techniques for great usages.

Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Rock like formations for other types of techniques. Cannot be used on Sand
Description: What occurs is that the user takes the time to push down into the ground their own chakra. As the user does this the user takes the earth like materials found within the ground which is the components of soil as they begin to formulate and harden them all around in order to create harden rock like materials. The user may slam their hands against the ground in order to use this technique or just by pushing their chakra down to the ground. A user can gain the capability of grabbing onto the very ground and molding a piece of earth into a hardened like rock. The more the user learns and the higher the Difficulty class the user becomes the more they are capable of mastering this type of technique. When first learned the user is only capable of formulating rock into the size of their hand. When the user learns the "C" Rank, version this type increases to five meters in radius. Each time learned after that, the distance increases by ten feet giving a total distance of thirty-five meters in a radius distance. For each Difficulty class the User is the larger number this distance becomes. Each Difficulty class after C The distance increases by Ten meters. This means that if a user becomes S Rank in Difficulty Class and learns the S Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of formulating Rock within a Seventy-Five meters Radius.

Tsuchi funshutsu no Jutsu (Earth spewing Technique)

Effect: A technique where the user takes a deep breath then spits out earth from his/her body, this can be used as a source for other jutsu or it can be used as a projectile.

Description: The user holds the dragon seal and takes a deep breath expanding his rib cage but instead of oxygen, earth is exhaled. He will only spit out half his body weight of earth then the chakra from his body will then increase the mass according to the level of the jutsu. For a reason it is generally used to create earth where there is none, to allow the ninja to use other earth based jutsu. The earth is in a form of liquefied mud though after a few seconds of being in the open atmosphere it will harden into a natural, solid soil. The radius, speed and the amount of damage of earth varies at each rank. E rank = Half your body mass. D rank = four meter. C rank = ten meters. B = twenty meters. A rank = thirty meters. S rank = Fifty meters

Effect: Creates up to five birds made out of earth that fly towards the opponent and attempt to inflict damage equivalent to kunai.

Drawback: The technique must be relearned a number of times in order to make a large amount of birdies. The technique is fairly easy to dodge.
Description: After performing the required handseals, the user is then capable of channeling chakra into the earth. For each time that the user has learned this technique, they become capable of creating up to five birds of the user's choice, made out of stone. These birds have sharpened beaks and are used to attack the opponent, moving at the same speed as the normally thrown kunai as well as dealing approximately the same amount of damage. The technique is only capable of being learned up to a maximum of ten times.

Deido Nohara no Jutsu (Mud Field)

Effect: Causes the area (10m x 10m) around the user, given that it is earth and stone, to become mud.

Drawback: It does not work in certain environments, such as tile and metallic floors.
Description: After the hand signs are performed, the user slams his/her hands into the ground. If the environment allows it, the area around the user will become a thick and heavy mud. No chakra is required to maintain the state of the area.

Drawback: The amount of mud capable of being released is only the size of the body. Must hold the Rabbit handseal for the duration of the technique.
Description: A ninjutsu technique utilizing the mud techniques of the Earth Release, Turikki-Usagi is used in order to make the field more dangerous for the opponent. By performing the required handseals, the user will create a number of small rabbits from the mud around them, perhaps half a foot in height minus the ears, with a maximum number of five rabbits per time that this technique has been relearned. The technique can only be learned a maximum of ten times. Then, the rabbits will move around at the user's whim, and, upon the user's command or forceful impact against something, will quickly become nothing but a puddle of mud.

Effect: A technique where the user hides within the ground for a brief moment to surprise attack the opponent from under ground.

Drawback: ---
Description: The user takes the time to push into the ground by using their Earth Release. The user pushes into the ground quickly so that to be used against the opponent later on. The user at this point cannot necessarily move within the ground at this moment, but the user does know by feel of when an opponent is right above. When an opponent is right under the user reaches up to take the opponent and drag them back down to the ground in one fell swoop without movement or notice. The opponent is unable to move for one post and the user is capable of slamming out of the ground with one movement.

Doton: Joushou Deido no Jutsu (Earth Release: Art of the Climbing Mud) [20/500]

Effect: Creates a ramp of solidified mud that is capable of reaching, at maximum, ten meters in height.

Drawback: The maximum distance isn't that high. The ramp is not very stable, and more weight than 500 lbs upon it will cause it to collapse. Lasts three turns. The last two drawbacks can be eliminated by performing Deido Yakiire on it.
Description: Another technique that utilizes the flexibility of the mud over the average flexibility of the earth. Performing the correct handseals, the user will cause the creation of a mud ramp to appear. Sliding upwards until it has reached the appropriate as set by the user when he first performs the technique, with a maximum height of eight meters, the mud will then hold in place for a few turns while the user is capable of using the ramp for whatever purpose he wishes. The ramp can be made permanent by performing Deido Yakiire upon it.
Limit: Must know Deido Nohara. Must have Doton no Jutsu.

Description: The user uses the basic Doton - Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique) as they slam down into the ground. Doing so the user is capable of moving about within the ground capable of rising, singing and capable of pushing through the very ground in multiple types of ways. This type of attack may be used so then the user may move away from the very opponent and attack at the moment's notice.

Drawback: "C" Rank and "B" Rank versions are not perfect, a strong drilling like attack is capable of pushing through the attack. For Techniques of "A" and "S", Rank Version a strong technique of same rank in a drilling fashion must be used in order to get through.
Description: The user uses their chakra and concentrates greatly along the very attack. The user slams their hands down against the very ground after performing a few handseals as the user concentrates to push up the ground up in a small distance. The distance of the technique is dependent of the knowledge of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) and the difficulty class the user is for the technique.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release, Must have knowledge of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique). Depending on the rank of the Technique, the user wishes to learn is dependent on the Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) needs to know.

Effect: Allows user to break rocks apart into sharp shards.

Drawback: Can only be used after another jutsu that creates pebbles or small rocks in some shape or form.
Description: After using a technique to create rocks and pull them up out of the ground, the user can break them into smaller pieces, each sharp and dangerous. This is not an explosion, but simply a breaking apart of existing rocks. For this technique to work the rocks cannot exceed 1 meter in diameter. You are only capable of breaking rocks that are within the range limited by your rock creation.

Effect: Brings the user and target to a deep gloomy pit, where it is impossible to use NinJutsu- or GenJutsu- jutsu. Escaping is not possible either unless the user stops channeling chakra in the jutsu. The user of this jutsu channels his chakra around the area, making all the chakra molded (for nin/gen-jutsu's or even walking on walls) being drained and disappear into the air.

Description: After performing the handseals, the ground suddenly lowers and some kind of force is pushing you and the target(s) down.

Effect: A Thin like layer of earth is used to surround the user as a protection against on coming like attacks. The stronger the user is the stronger the technique becomes means the stronger the defense is to help the user.

Drawback: This Technique is ineffective against Lighting Techniques. The user becomes weighed down and is unable to perform fast movements such as the After Image technique.
Description: A thing layer of earth is used as a protection around the user. The layer makes the user seem a little darker then usual but this type of technique takes up a lot of concentration, chakra and understanding. When attacked by certain attacks such as TaiJutsu attacks the feel of the attack seems less then that of normal. This technique is capable of protecting the user against two "D" Rank like attacks before the shield begins to break. For every Difficulty class the user increases the technique increases in strength allowing the user to withstand more. When the user becomes a C Rank difficulty class the user can withstand Two “C” Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty of "B" then the user is capable of withstanding One "B" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes a new difficulty class of "A" Rank the user is capable of withstanding One "A" Rank of Jutsus before they start to break within the user. When the user becomes "S" Difficulty class the user is capable of withstanding Two "A" Ranks of Jutsus before they start to break within the user

Ishikyojin Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Stone Golem Summoning) [260/500]

Effect: The user gains the capability of understanding, and creating an amount of Golem like stone creatures to fight forth against on coming opponents. The Golems are to be considered as large Slow like creatures that are moved by the chakra the user pushes through in order to create and sustain.

Drawback: The user must have knowledge of the Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) in order to create the large type golems. The more that the user knows the more golems the user is capable of creating forth. Hands must stay along the ground at all times depending on the Difficulty class of the User. If the user is D Difficulty, class the hands of the user must stay along the ground at all times. If the user is C Difficulty Class, the hands can be removed for six seconds before they must put their hands back along the ground. If the user is B difficulty class, the number of seconds increases by six seconds. For every Difficulty class that the user gains, the number of seconds increases by six. These Golems are extremely slow so techniques like the After Image will not be able to be seen and understood.
Description: The user creates a few handseals as they slam their hands down against the ground. Doing so, the user is capable of creating a Giant Golem made out of stone at the size of four meters high. The golems are slow, but extremely resourceful against TaiJutsu like attacks. Each Class up the user becomes the stronger the Golems become in order to be capable of withstanding certain amounts of attacks. At D Difficulty class, the Golems are capable of withstanding Three D Rank TaiJutsu techniques. At C Difficulty Class, the golems are capable of withstanding up to Three "C" Rank Jutsus before suddenly shattering. At B Difficulty Class, the Golems are capable of withstanding up to Six "C" Rank Jutsus before suddenly shattering. At A Difficulty Class, the Golems are capable of withstanding up to Nine "C" Rank Jutsus before suddenly shattering. At S Difficulty Class, the Golems are capable of withstanding up to Twelve "C" Rank Jutsus before suddenly shattering. When the user learns a higher version of the Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) the user is capable of pushing through yet another Golem, but one Golem must come out every six seconds.

Heika Ishi no Jutsu (Arms of Stone Technique) [290/500]

Drawback: The added weight decreases movement and speed, while also hindering the usage of hand seals.
Description: Heika Ishi no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes the Earth Element. Once the required hand seals have been performed, the user would press both hands onto the ground and use his/her chakra to pull the earth and stone up in order to coat the arms. The amount of soil and stone used to coat the arms varies between one to three centimeters. When in operation, this technique can withstand the abuse of three C-Ranked TaiJutsu attacks before crumbling apart, or a total length of 24 seconds (4 turns) before crumbling apart.

Description: An advancement of the replacement technique utilizing Deido Nohara as the catalyst, the user will quickly perform a singular handseal in order to quickly escape from their current position. Swapping places instantly with a mass of mud, the user is capable of appearing away from their location, in the same location as the mud that had been used, a maximum of ten meters from the user's original location.
Limit: Must have Deido Nohara. Must have Doton on Jutsu. Must know Kawarimi no Jutsu.
Deido Sakana no Jutsu (Mud Fish) [330/500]

Effect: Allows the user to swim rapidly through the mud as though it was water.

Drawback: This jutsu is ineffective in other forms of soil.
Description: The user manipulates his/her chakra in order to swim rapidly through mud. When submerged, they can move somewhat faster than they could in water, given that they are decent swimmers in the first place.

Effect: Allows the user to create clones out of Mud.

Drawback: Needs a source of mud that can supply enough mud to make the desired amount of clones. Ex: If there is only enough mud to make four clones, you cannot make eight, only four.
Description: Using mud in the area, the user can create mud clones depending on his/her ninja rank/class. Because the clones are made of mud, they are more durable than most other clones. May take two hits to destroy instead of one. The personality of the clones depends on the user’s personality. The user can channel thoughts with the clones. The weight of the clones and amount of mud needed depends on the user's body weight. Finally, the user can control what the clones say, and control the clone’s actions. The Mud Clones are capable of using any technique that deals with mud.

Effect: The user drags an opponent down into the mud then converts it back to its original state.

Description: The user begins the combination by dragging a target into the mud with them. Once the target is secure, he/she leaps out of the mud and performs the necessary hand signs to convert the mud back to its original state.

Doton: Iwagakure no Jutsu (Earth Element: Hiding in Stone Technique) [50/500]

Effect: Allows the user to phase in and out of rock in order to evade attacks or track opponents.

Description: By applying the principles of Underground fish projection, the user is able to quickly sink in and out of stone on a whim, avoiding virtually all damage. By simply focusing doton charka through their body, the user will briefly change the same color as the surrounding rocks before vanishing from sight. As they travel through the ground, no other skills can be performed, but their movement speed is dramatically faster so long as the user stays within stone. This skill is only usable 5 times a day once trained; however, this jutsu can be retrained in order to obtain the ability to add another usage.

Description: User holds back taking in gargling their own inner spit, as well as the loogie that is found within bringing it down to the throat up to the mouth. The user then hurls the large loogie to smash into what the user may wish. By focusing their chakra they are capable of changing the color of the loogie . When the loogie hits it creates a marking along what the user wishes. Some are capable of creating a vibrant color to allow the user to follow or allow others to see easily. The loogie spit (Not the color) disappears within three Roleplaying Days (Three Days that are Roleplayed out).

Description: When the user lifts the very blades up into the air, this technique is used to where they give a push towards the blades to hurl them towards one direction. This technique however can not be used for re-directing, and this technique is only capable of pushing forth in at least a ten meter of distance.

The wrist is in a position where it can easily strike or block, and the fingers are curled in with the index finger hooked out, which helps in trapping an opponent's arms while blocking. The arms can be used for short or long range techniques, as well as the elbows, combined with various feints and strikes.

Description: (Fake sleep) An attack in which the name is half accurate. The user falls asleep, yet is still conscious along with lightning reflexes. The result of being attacked in this state results in being attacked by a very powerful drunk person. The user also loses his temper very easily if awoken in the best part of sleep. (Note: The user is a very light sleeper when this "attack" is used.)

Hogo Okamoto was born and raised in Waterfall, he grew up with his father, three older brothers, and no mother to speak of. But whoever his mother was, he must have inherited most of her genes. His family was fairly loud and brash in their actions, and tended to argue a lot, leaving Hogo in the middle of it all. When he reached the age of six, he decided that it would be best if he stayed out of the middle of all of the fights. This made his normally quiet persona, go even quieter.
When he was seven, one of his older brothers died, he was a ninja, and had gone out on a "C" rank mission where he was killed by a bandit. That moment, made Hogo think "I never want to experience the loss of one of them again..." So he took a similar path as his late brother, and became a ninja, vowing never to let his family come under harm. When he told his father, he wasn't sure what emotion to feel at another of his son's becoming a ninja... so he chose pride.
Happy that another of his boys was going to take the undertaking of the ninja art, he backed him completely. He gave his son a gift, a shirt embroidered with the first word Hogo ever spoke, "Boom." Since then, he has requested such shirts, as he seemed to constantly be growing out of them.
At fourteen, he graduated with below average, but still passing scores. Mostly because he blew off or didn't bother to do the written work, and only worked well with practical things. After that, Hogo decided he would take a few years to train. He mostly spent his time working on his strength and reflex speed, but did a wide plethora of other things as well. During the course of his training, he developed a liking for the use of traps, and ninja wire as an art, so he also did quite a bit of training on that as well.
On Hogo's sixteenth birthday, his father gave him his first taste of sake. This proved to be a major breakthrough in his training... After about five cups of the alcohol, he was laughing and singing and being loud and brash like the rest of his family. After awhile, the owner of the bar had gotten sick of him, and after a failed attempt to ask him to leave, he tried force. Force, didn't work. After taking up what, to Hogo, felt like a normal fighting stance, but was actually that of Paiken. After the owner had been knocked out, as well as one of the other drinkers who he got kicked into, his father coaxed him into going home.
Hogo, after hearing his father tell him what happened in the morning, decided to practice the martial art. Some of it came naturally, some of it came after watching someone else who knew the style use it. Bars quickly became a hangout for him, after, and sometimes during training. On his seventeenth birthday, his father gave him two bottles of sake, both the alcohol and the bottles strong.
Now at two weeks after his birthday, his hiatus on missions to sacrifice for training is finished. And he now is somewhat pissed, after hearing what most "D" ranked missions include.
