Investigation of a Crime (M)

[Suka Retto]

Suka arrived at the City of Dante's gates with a smile. She read the top of the gate with a slow voice, clearly taking more time than needed to actually say it. "Abandon... all... hope... ye... who... enter... here...?" She laughed a little. How can I, when I'm this excited? She skipped through the gates and looked around, quickly noting the eyes that looked her way. She blew a kiss to the general area and then continued on a little ways to the left. She didn't get very far, however, when she stopped and started to think.

I don't even know where to go...

She said out loud, hoping Gensou could here her from wherever he was. "So where is this place? The one we need to get to. I want to ace this mission badly." She was ready to prove herself to not only Gensou by showing him she was a competent team member, but also to Her Otokage, who gave her the good sense to complete a mission hand picked by himself.

She put her hands behind her back and rocked slowly back and forth on her heels. She looked around again. She was slowly starting to take in just how murky this place looked; the people in the streets were in groups of 4 or 5 and most of them glanced in either her way or the way of other groups. She shuddered slightly. She was immensly glad that she wasn't there by herself.

After all, what could a little lady do to protect herself?

Dante looked as welcoming as a graveyard, except graveyards are cleaner. It had a dark aura radiating from it that put Gensou on edge. Suka was reading the sign above the gate, but Gensou wasn’t listening. All his focus was on all the dangerous looking people, maliciously staring at Suka.

He believed Suka was strong enough to fend for herself, but the combination of his terrible dreams followed by the danger he felt from the city put him on full alert. He vowed his loyalty to Suka and would do everything within his power to protect her. It didn’t matter how dangerous the city was, Gensou would be more dangerous.

His posture changed along with his body language. Living with a murderer for most of his childhood taught him a few things about projecting a bloodlust. Anyone who looked directly in Gensou’s eyes here would see death.

His mind analyzed his surroundings as he played out hundreds of ambush scenarios. This was the perfect place to get mugged, but Gensou was not going to be caught off guard. “I don’t even know where to go……” Suka spoke. “So where is this place? The one we need to get to. I want to ace this mission badly.”

Gensou took one last look at the people in the area, making sure all of them saw how his eyes mirrored that of a dead man. He then spoke, “It’s this way.” and began to walk. His voice came out a little harsher than he wanted it to. He didn’t want Suka to see him this way. He decided he would apologize after they left, it was better not to show any weakness in front of this shady crowd.

He they continued on only pausing to make sure Suka was close by. Soon later they arrived at the house of purity.

Investigation of a Crime

Difficulty: Easy
Description: An investigation is needed within the city of City of Dante. A disturbance have happened within the "House of Purity" which was attacked not too long ago. The "House of Purity" is an ancient home clan that keeps an ancient treasure inside. We do not know if the ancient treasure was taken yet or not, however we need people to go and investigate the attack. Find any survivors, and find any information as to who had done the attack.
Objective: Reach the "House of Purity" and investigate the area in order to find who attacked the sacred home. Do not pursue the instigator, send all information back to the Village.
Reward:2,000 Ryo
