"Oh, that's pretty smart - explains why there is such a large gap between each one of them now" said the male. "Yeah, wonder how the next one will solve the task" said the female and made a small smile. The Suna shinobi felt down after the jump, but was back up again. Fortunately, the Iwa shinobi jumped over without an issue and the tall Akimichi jumped over without any problem at all. Her former bully however crushed the middle of the fence with a kick; it looked like a Gouken move.
Next surprise was gaps spread around in the ground; they ranged from 1 to 4 feet in length. "That one can get tricky for the shorter ones" said Marii and knit her black eyebrows a little bit; the Hoshigake managed to cross the gaps without much effort.
Next, the Suna Chuunin appeared and he struggled quite a bit more than the previous shinobi. After some falling, he got across and the tall Akimichi managed to get over with some effort. Now, the lamppost Jounin had jumped over the fence and was on his way.
Her former bully got over most of them, but tripped on the last one. The last surprise was two ropes that were binded over a big pit with mud; the top rope was knit five feet above the other. The shinobis had to hold onto the top rope while they walked over the mud pit, which was a bit hard since the rope was 100 feet long.
It seemed like the Hoshigake had some problems since his balance was not as good as he wanted it to be. When he was halfway, the Suna shinobi appeared with the Kumo kuinochi in his heels.
Surprisingly, the Suna shinobi had quite good balance and caught up with the sharkman in short time. The duo fought their way over, but it was the one from Suna who won with just a second or so.
He raised his hands and grinned before he thanked the Hoshigake for a good match; it was weigh-in time. Everyone were now in a room that had nothing but a big scale, some lamps and a few, big screens. First up was the winner of today's match; he could not be eliminated, but he wanted to see his weight.
The man had lost 6 pounds and seemed really happy with that. Next up was the lamppost Jounin, who seemed a bit nervous; however, he had lost 4,5 pounds. Number three was the Hoshigake, who after some endless seconds found out that he had lost 4 pounds.
Then was the Iwa shinobi, who had a bland expression on her face. But she had no need to be nervous; she had lost 5,5 pounds.
Kumo's representative was up next and was now 4,5 pounds lighter than before. Last but not least was the Akimichi, who seemed a bit anxious about this. He had lost 4 pounds, which meant that he and the lamppost Jounin were up for elimination.
The next scene showed some discussion between the two teams and then, they walked down to something that looked like a basement. "I wonder who will get voted out..." said the young woman and tilted her head towards Kininata.
