Akira stood among the trees and heat of the Land of Fire, an oasis of icy air and cool demeanor as always. She would take a break from traveling for a moment, leaning back against a tree as the six icicles crystallized upon her back pressed upon it to provide a small cushion of space between herself and the tree. The markings and test number of an A.K.I.R.A. test subject would be easy to see as they shone upon her left arm.

Though Akira would not feel it, something drew her here; and others where being drawn to this place still.

Footsteps slowed as his heartbeat quickened as he first set his eyes upon another of the 11, the subject number on her arm that marked them as one of them. An invisable grimace formed behind the mask as he saw her unmarked body, she was like Kanami untouched by the full fury of these scientists. Why was it only him? Why? He could not see any of the other subjects, she was alone. Glowing amber eyes fixed upon the girl shining out from the mask that hid his charred face.

They'd been walking for awhile now, going in the general direction her instincts told her, and was beginning to get annoyed. It had been hours already and there was still no sign of what they had been looking for.

The sudden surge of rage Kanami was beginning to feel was as natural as a storm at sea for her, but her brother hadn't seen her angry yet and she rather he didn't see her like that any time in the near future. Suppressing her sudden shift in attitude, the girl noticed her brother had stopped walking.

Following the teen's gaze with her eyes, the girl could see another girl leaning against a tree a few feet away from them. At first, Kanami took no notice of her, she didn't seem too special but then she noticed the girls own glowing blue eyes and tattoo. Kanami's yellow eyes narrowed dangerously for a brief second before suddenly dulling down once again. Her relaxed state kicking in once more.

The girl, now calm and knowing that Hayasa wouldn't approach the girl first, took a couple of steps away from her brothers side and approached the strange girl. Stepping a few feet between her brother and the girl, Kanami tilted her head as she spoke.

"You're one of us... aren't you?" Kanami asked, not really sure if the girl was friend or foe at the moment. Through the art of conversation, they would be able to identify her. What she said wasn't what Kanami was looking for in terms of identification... It was what she did.

As Akira remained still form a good few moments in time the direct area around her would begin to show the effects of her abilities; the constantly cold air would frost the nearby plant-life with frozen water that had gathered upon their body. Akira would be cool enough to serve as an oasis among the Land of Fire's forest of heat. Still, nothing would seem to move for a time until all once once; the sudden oncoming motion upon the motionless would be impossible to miss.

A boy with a good deal greater height than Akira's own would be noticed a good distance away, the Ice Dawn would turn to look up upon this person as he looked upon her; his bright glowing eyes would stare directly into Akira's cold blue gaze if he would allow this. Another person, a girl of height between Akira's and the red eyed man, would move between the two; her eyes shining a light golden yellow in the shade provided by the forest.

"You're one of us... aren't you?" The girl would ask; a direct question with intention that was misdirected from what she really asked. Akira's direct line of thought and mannerism would shoot forward as she spoke. "I am neither of you; but I am similar. I am a subject the same as you both." In an act of communication Akira would pause for a moment before speaking her own words. "What is your purpose here?" Clearly these two where here for some reason, else they would still be within a cell as all subjects are usually confined within. It was just as likely that they where here for Akira herself; sent by 'them' to retrieve her.

Eternal Freeze

Effect: With this technique this allows a user the capability and understanding of lowering temperatures around the user in a small radius to where the user is capable creating ice for other techniques for the users.
Special: ---
Drawback: User is incapable of using in extreme heat conditions. Must have a Water Supply out in the area first. Without a water supply the user is incapable of performing this technique. The water supply must be actual supply such as puddles. Mist will not work, nor freezing Alcohol.
Description: A conventional Ice User must have cold climate in order for the user their techniques unless they mastered the release. This technique allows the user to drop temperatures to the point of water freezing allowing the user to create Ice Techniques. When first learned the user is capable of pushing off in the distance of Five meters for the user to create their techniques, where the user drops the temperature towards the right respectable limit. Each time learned the distance increases by ten meters. This means that at max the user is capable of creating ice within the distance of twenty five meters radius.
Limit: Must have up to 500 TP in Hyouton techniques for "B", 600 TP for "A", 700 TP for "S". Once this is done, this technique is gained automatically.

I roamed the lands now, Kaze no Kuni had gotten so dull these days. The little subjects were no longer there, of course, I had made sure they and those AKIRA agents all died in the blast. If a few got out it did not matter though, they would never obtain the power of the demon those bastards had molded me into. Kill and torment, those were what I knew and I continued my roaming, none in sight. Three figures passed into my sight, it appeared to be one teen male wearing a mask and two young females. The shortest couldn't have been older than eight, with a marking upon her arm, the number two hundred.

It seemed like I had run into at least one other experiment from the labs, perhaps I would listen in on their conversation. Like hell I'd do it discretely though, and my massive frame took me through the three. My back would be visible to them for a moment, the 161 I had allowed to show on my right shoulder blade clearly visible before I turned my back to a tree and faced them. My heavily muscled framed towered over these people, I was a good one foot four inches above the tallest of those three, my entire body perfectly proportioned to match such a height. The little one was talking in a rather adult tone, who knew what those freaks had done to her, who cared. I was just here to pass the time for now.

The wind blew softly making the emerald green leaves rustle, composed by nature itself. Words were spoken adding to the symphony above their heads he hardly payed attention to the words themselves revelling in this perfect masterpiece of nature. But some of the words spoken by the girl snapped him back to the harsh reality of the situation.
"I am a subject the same as you both." So as she was a subject the same as them, another member in their family of sorts. His eyes finally took notice of the cold frost forming on the plantlife nearby. But that's impossible these words echohed through Hayasa's head almost making him miss the next words that were spoken.
"What is your purpose here?" Hayasa would remain silent for a moment before he would speak
"We came here to find others, like us" these few words caused an echo of pain to flare up around his throat.

The sound of footsteps reached Hayasa's ears and he turned his head slowly to see who was there. Could it be an AKIRA agent following them, he was a mountain of a man towering over all three of them here. His fears were calmed when he spotted his subject number on his shoulder. So was this person another subject like they were.

(OOC: Ho hum, waiting for the other 7 members... Rome wasn't built in a day I guess. =/)

"We came here to find others, like us" The red eyed subject spoke, his answer stood fairly uncertain for Akira as it could clearly mean that they where hunting; being used to hunt other subjects. This idea would begin to slowly decline down the Cold Dawn's mind as another subject showed itself; being over a foot taller than even the Masked male and over two feet taller than Akira herself, who would look like a midget in respect to the giant.

The reason why the possibility of these subjects hunting other subject declined was due to the way subjects where used; they where not commonly grouped together and even two being together during a mission was rare. With the addition of a third subject, the possibility began to slowly decline to nearly impossible.

Akira would face the new subject who showed his markings straight away, showing his own position without speaking. Looking up a bit to look directly at him, the similar, yet polar opposite, glowing blue eyes of both Akira and this massive subject would be apparent. The new subject had eyes that glistened of the bright summer sky, while the Cold Dawn's dark blue eyes would be as cold as a winter night. Looking back at the two subjects, Akira would speak her mind. "It appears you've found more subjects, just as you two somehow found one another." Her body would relax a bit, no longer being tensed for the possibility of a fight; her instincts knew more than she ever could.

[Mitsuru the Wood Guardian]

I vibrated softly, and a low-pitched droning spewed gently from my form in all directions. As I approached they would hear that first, and then gradually discern my figure. My body was fully clothed, almost no skin left bare to the sunlight. With a large black hat pulled down tight on my head, and dozens of locks of thick auburn hair, my eyes would be just barely visible, more like smoldering coals than eyes as they glowed softly. Demonic would be a word to use perhaps, although that would only just scratch the surface of this troubled individual. Gold trim adorned the jet-black clothing, reflecting light every so often as I walk forward.

A gentle plume of gray smoke would twist forth from the cavern my face resided in, the glowing tip of my cigarette illuminating my features for but a brief moment before they were gone once more. A gloved hand would reach up and remove the white stick, revealing a deep and raspy voice as I spoke for the first time.

"I wonder... which of you would taste the best...?"

It was a rhetorical question, serving not as a threat, but merely to add to the mystery that was Mitsuru, the Wood Guardian.

As Hayasa and the strange girl exchanged words, Kanami turned her head as something caught her eye. Seeing a man, taller than any she'd seen before, appear from the shadows of the trees, the girl got on the defensive. Or at least, was about to get on the defensive, but once she'd seen the number "161" tattoo'd to his arm, she relaxed.

"It appears you've found more subjects, just as you two somehow found one another." As the girl spoke, Kanami turned to face her once again. The girl had also noticed the other occupant of the area, her unaltered position against the tree remained the same.

"I wonder... which of you would taste the best...?" a voice said, drawing the girl's attention over to a strange dark figure of a man, callously dressed in smart clothes. Out of all of them, this man seemed the most unusual.

"And you are?" Kanami asked blatantly, narrowing her glowing eyes at the stranger.

[Mitsuru the Wood Guardian]

Smoke curled lazily from the tip of the cig, held easily between thumb and forefinger. My gaze shifted as a little girl spoke, only my eyes moving, the coal-red glow fixated on her position. Already in my mind had registered the plethora of glowing eyes all around, as well as different tattoo seemingly similar to my own. Of course mine was invisible beneath layers of clothing. I towered over this child, and it would be but the work of a moment to feed her to my hungry little friends....

But that would not do. It seemed that I shared some sort of connection with this little creature, and perhaps with the others as well. There will be food soon, my little ones. Be patient... With a thought I would quell their hunger, and the vibrations would subside just a bit. Bringing the cigarette back up towards my mouth, I paused right before taking another drag.

"Few know my name. Those who do call me Mitsuru, the Wood Guardian."

Taking a breath filled with smoke, I would breath out slowly and continue.

"Once before some called me by a number, eleven. Those lives have since been....consumed."

(OOC: Kanami - The group so far is a masked deranged boy, a volatile girl, a tiny freezing ice queen, a massive man made of sand, and a freaky smoking woodsman... 'unusual' pretty much describes the group as a whole. XD)


"I wonder... which of you would taste the best...?" From Akira's vantage point below the man's head, she would be better capable of seeing his glowing eyes from under his hair. The smoke and glowing eyes would be almost hypnotizing in a strange way, the dark light reflecting off the gray smoke. As always, Akira's straightforward thinking would register his words as a direct threat; once again being ready to fight if a battle ensued as she slowly walked toward the man.

"And you are?" The girl who was currently considered an ally to the Cold Dawn would speak a simple question, which the strange man would answer with more smoke from his cigarette. "Few know my name. Those who do call me Mitsuru, the Wood Guardian." More smoke would be inhaled before further words would be spoken. "Once before some called me by a number, eleven. Those lives have since been....consumed."

Akira would not be frightened of this man, she had been through far worse to even consider this deranged smoker as a threat. "Listen, Mitsuru." If Mitsuru would allow for it, Akira would have made her way directly in front of the man by this point; having been slowly walking forward curing his speech and being forced to look up at the man as she stood and spoke. "My name is Akira and we are all subjects here; you will never feel warmth again if you attempt to harm anyone." Along with this, the saliva along the cigarette Mitsuru smoked would become frozen and the area would become cool around the Cold Dawn, serving as a warning to the man of which Akira knew nothing about other than his apparent threats.

Even though Akira knew none of these people, the fact that they where all subjects and unlikely to be dangerous led her to become nearly protective of them; likely an unconscious response to the idea of being alone once more.

So there were others... many of them. Tsume stayed well back from the group as she rubbed the brand upon her arm uncomfortably. At least one of them seemed to have the same brand, one she even recognized... the tall male. She strode forwards with purpose and bowed her head as she reached the group. She acknowledged that they were there before turning to the tall male once more. She reached up to let her finger tips splay across his shoulder blade. "I know you..." The words lilted musically as she spoke. She smiled up at the male as she drew her hand away. She had seen him in the facility in Kaze no Kuni.

She looked to the rest and bowed once more. "Pardon me for my rudeness, I am Tsume." The rest of these people were unfamiliar but perhaps they would in turn introduce themselves. She could not help but feel that they were all like her, that they had been trapped as well, torn away from that which they once loved. She stiffened as a vision of the past clouded her mind once more. A day on the beach when she was so young, with a beautiful woman in a white dress. The time before this had all happened, the time when she was loved.[/size]

I stood there, listening, unflinching no matter what was said. These humans bored me, perhaps killing them all would have been a good option, forcing them to suffer the way those children had suffered at my hands. Then there was another, a woman came who seemed to recognize me, recognize my number, it didn't matter though, she was just like the rest. Simply brushing off her words along with her hand I moved from my spot against the tree leaving a few simple words behind. "I'm done here, you humans do as you please, I will hunt alone."
