//Personality;;
As the alignment shows, Ryo doesn’t really think about things one way or the other, but rather just does whatever he happens to be feeling at that particular moment. There is no leaning towards the ‘good’ or the ‘bad’ side because to Ryo, there is no good or bad; there is only what is. While not sympathetic towards dictators, his heart doesn’t go out for the paupers of the world either. Unlike other true neutral characters, though, Ryo does not commit himself to neutrality. He commits himself towards doing what he feels like doing at the moment. He lacks any sense of commitment towards a village, a community (even his own clan), or a family with the exception of his brother, Ryu Uchiha. He will follow his brother to the very end of his days, but other than that, he has nothing. He does what he does because that’s what he feels like doing. Simplicity at its finest.
Regardless of how he feels towards different issues and situations, Ryo is quite an obnoxious person. Although his brother will never leave his side, he has never had any real close friends due to his everlasting joking personality. While many people do enjoy a good laugh every now and again, Ryo goes the extra fifty miles by never stopping. He is as loud as can be at all times with no shame at all. When it comes down to fighting, he will do all that he can in order to win of course, but he’ll do so while talking, laughing, smirking; that is just who he is. And, as lonely as times can get, he has never thought once about changing. He is who he is and he will never let anybody change him. As long as his brother is by his side, everything is good. It’s all always good.
//Appearance;;
As the picture at the top of this profile suggests, Ryo is a rather mysterious character who doesn’t wish for people to really know much about him. He has grayish black hair (prematurely grayed for whatever reason) that spikes up in a mohawk fashion as it rides down the center of his scalp. There are always a few strands that manage to escape and hang over his right eye as well. He has no earrings, no distinguishable facial features, and, unless he is around people or in a fight, no real expression upon his lips. His eyes are a dark, deep, green color. While he is a joking person at heart, when he is just walking around without anybody at his side, he just has a blank stare at all times. This is not because he is sad or angry or lonely, but rather just because he doesn’t have any emotion to feel. Otherwise, when around his brother or others with whom he’s familiar, he will always be laughing or smiling.
Breaking away from his facial appearance, instead of the sword depicted in the picture on his back, there is a large gourd filled with sand. His arms and legs have quite a bit of muscle, giving a vague hint that he has some sort of Taijutsu skill, but it is a lie. Ryo is all Ninjutsu and Genjutsu; none of the bulges in his arms or legs would do so much as dent a block of wood. There are no tattoos or marks that make him out of the ordinary running along his body either. As far as clothing goes, he wears a light piece of cloth that covers his upper body with armor hanging over his shoulders. He wears light cloth on his legs as well as sandals, all of them a dark color of gray, brown, or black. He likes to run lightly with dark clothing as not to be seen just in case he’s caught in a night fight. While he has no intention of leaving his village, Ryo doesn't wear his Suna headband anymore because he feels like it gets in the way.
Weapon Additions
A double-knife holster is now located on the right side of his clothed leg, just below his hips. In it lie two plain, black-hilted knives. In another holster on the opposite leg is a kunai holder that holds only four kunai. In a back-butt-pouch are eighty explosive tags.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
//Bloodlimit;; Uchiha.
//History;;
//Part One;;
Of course, how can an Uchiha’s story start, but in tragedy? As is the custom of every Uchiha’s history, there is pain and suffering. It all started with that terrible tragedy, one which has never really seemed to be explained. A mysterious event it was and one that neither Ryu nor his brother Ryo would ever really remember. Sure, there were vague details here and there that suggested and gave inferences of the causes and beginnings, but when it comes down to the underlying truth, they just don’t remember. The reason? They were both too young. Ryo had only been three years old and Ryu, four. They were both just toddlers that were lucky to have made it out at all. Ever since that terrible, unknown massacre, the two had been inseparable, most likely because nobody else had been there with them. They became alone in the world forever. That was just how it had to be for whatever screwed-up reason.
Their parents, the names of whom are inconsequential now, were away in the Land of Sand on business dealing with Konoha. They were both Jounin in the Leaf Village and had grown up to be key diplomats to the village so they were constantly going from village to village, ninja or not, talking to different types of leaders on behalf of Leaf. The night of the killings, they just happened to be away, leaving little Ryu and Ryo in the care of non-ninja neighbors while they were infants. The Uchiha district of the town was just down the road when it all started. Quiet killings. Nobody knew what happened for a while and even so, nobody was going to tell the two infants, regardless of whether or not they were of Uchiha blood. So, when their parents got back, Ryu and Ryo were taken from Leaf to Sand because it was deemed that they would be safer there. The Uchihas had always been safe, though, so nobody knew that there was no real safe place for them.
While still mere children, an assassin (or a group) of some sort had come into their so-called ‘safe haven’ in Sand and killed their parents. The story goes down something similar to this: when they had escaped, they went to their alternate house in Sand’s capital city. However, whoever had done the killings was either still alive or there was a copy-cat killer because there were some Uchihas that had escaped and were still being killed outside of Konoha. Because Ryo and Ryu’s parents were diplomats, they had houses in each and every country all around the world. And, because they were well-respected and well-known Jounin of the Leaf Village and were getting older, a lot of people knew who they were and how to get to them, even outside of Konoha. Because of this, the people who conducted the killings easily found them and killed them. The only reason their two younglings made it out was because their mother was a sensor and could see it coming.
The children were quick and were obedient towards their parents, so they easily ran away. By the time their parents’ heads were separated from their bodies, they had reached the gates of the Sand Village. The elders and Kazekage at the time deemed two children not to be a threat and let them in. Because they were so young and had unknown lineage, they were always admitted to the Academy to begin ninja training. It wasn’t until they were close to graduation age that anybody had even realized they were Uchiha descendants. Because some Uchiha were targeted outside of Konoha, the elders grew scared and, for a short period of time, tried to shelter the children to keep them away from everybody else. Although this didn’t last long, a lot of the villagers were afraid of these two orphans, setting them up for loneliness for the rest of their lives. This could be overcome in some ways, but never completely. Again, this is just the story of an Uchiha.
//Part Two;;
A simple gennin without any family to look up to, the only person Ryo could ever really respect and be comfortable with was his brother, Ryu. The two of them were placed on the same team in the Academy and once they graduated as well. They were inseparable simply because they were of the same bloodlimit. Nobody was going to challenge one as long as the other was right next to him. So, they trained, drilled, and did missions together. Even though they were in an orphanage, they also managed to escape many pointless questioning about their whereabouts from the older people of the village. They didn’t know what had happened to their family, only bits and pieces, so other people trying to get it out of them was completely and utterly useless. Ignoring them, they deemed, was the only suitable course of action.
With only a short time before the next Chuunin Exams, Ryo and Ryu just continued through their life, doing missions and racking up training time. They will soon become Chuunin. They don’t wish to impress the people of their village. They only want to show that they can compete with the ninja of their time. Uchiha are supposed to be strong. They want to show people this.
//Part Three;;
With the Chuunin Exams held in the Land of Sea that current year, the brothers of course attended them together. They both made it through the first two rounds with ease, scoring pretty much perfectly. When it came to the third and final round, though, Ryo succeeded in coming out victorious in the first two of four rounds; he lost in the third round to a respectable Kaguya from the Snow Village (thus starting Ryo's disdain for snow, ice, and the cold in general).
His brother, Ryu, however, had no such luck. He also made it through the first two rounds, but when it came down to the third round, he faced a Hyuuga user. Not used to the Taijutsu that the Leaf Hyuuga possessed, Ryu fell victim to his attacks and was killed in the middle of the arena. Ryo watched from the stands as it happened. Though he'll admit that he simply lost because his opponent was a better shinobi than he, it was speculated that Ryo threw the round intentionally due to his sorrow at watching his own brother fall. After all, it was all that he had left.
When he returned to the village, Ryo was immediately granted the title of Chuunin. Though there were those who felt sorry for him, it was an obvious fact that Ryo had deserved the rank that was given to him. The Council and Kazekage were rather ruthless rulers when it came to the village. They wouldn't have given Ryo the position unless they thought that he could actually handle it.
//Presently;;
Not having left Suna since the Chuunin Exams, Ryo has his own estate their now where he lives in solitude. He tries to do well for his village by trying to form teams and training and being a good Sand ninja, but all his attempts are for naught.[/blockquote]
