Description: Since Zenagi-sama has stepped down from the spot of Tsuchikage, the elders of Iwagakure have decided that the next leader of the village would be one with experience. They decided to choose Netami, the leader of the Kishiyagi Clan. Yet, her disappearance has never been explained. Until now. Recent information from Iwagakure's allies Kusagakure has come in recently. Reports of a green haired, goat-horned girl would have been abducted by a band of slave traders. Scouts from both village tracked down the location of the area believed to be housing an imprisonned Netami. Three shinobi from each village will be sent on a mission to retrive the Kishiyagi and the Iwa fraction will then be tasked to bring back the Tsuchikage back to her home where she will be able to lead her village. This is an opportunity for both villages to renew their ties. Iwagakure is in desperate need of a new leader, so haste must be used in the rescue mission. Rumors state that the Kusakage himself will be leading the Kusa task force. By doing this, both Kages will be able to mee and hopefully the bond between both villages will become even stronger.
Objective: Rescue Netami at all costs.

Naira stood alone in a fairly remote rocky area on a common travel road. She figured she would meet the other two shinobi team mates here so that they could travel and plan together as one. It would be awfully more convenient than making a plan up on the spot. Naira had been re-reading the scroll several times, just to memorize the mission and come up with a decent understanding of their position. It was a pretty high rank mission, but it wasn't the hardest of them.

Naira's current location was a rough rocky wasteland with a single large road cutting through. The road was the only area that was almost completely flat with no major rock obstacles. There was also a general lack of vegetation in the area, mostly only a lot of dry grass weeds here and there. Some tumbleweeds were also either rolling around or growing from the ground. The land was bare to the clay, though some fairly nice mountains were close by. Naira just needed this location since it was a common merchant travel road that was connected in to capital city of the Earth country. Thus it was a likely route to move on that was more convenient than the gigantic Earth country mountains and a easier area for the two other Shinobi of Iwa to spot Naira's large white angel wings.

Naira did go through a wardrobe change though, since she wasn't in the could mountain of the Mo village anymore. She was back to wearing a light gray tube top with an ankle long dress of a pleasant white. The white matched her angel-like wings, which both reflected the glow of sunlight off, like a pleasant and warm aura. There were also some gray ribbons braided into Naira's hair, just to match the top. Along with all that, Naira had her low-heel white mary jane shoes on, plus a bracelet on her right arm that was made of a silver alloy. To top it off, a white-gold chained Amethyst necklace was around Naira's neck, the gem wasn't too big, just a couple centimeters in length and width.

It was probably not the best attire for a rescue mission, but just to confirm her identity her Iwa headband was wrapped around her waist as a belt as usual.

[The Heron]

I sprinted down the road that cut a swath through the barren mountains. I cut quite the solemn figure, clad in my chuunin-vest, with the standard dark, close-fitting undergarments. My feet, however, where free to interact intimately with the earth beneath them. I was impervious to the jagged rocks scattered along the path, layered with chakra though my feet were, and this freedom to feel the real earth granted another layer to my special brand of 'vision', enabling me extend my awareness beyond conceivable thought.

Hmm... so she is on the team as well.

Her shape was distinct in my minds eye, and I had not forgotten her scent; it was Naira-chan. I decided to announce myself.

"Naira-chan!" I greeted as I came to a stop beside her.

[Nira]

"Shizuka-chan! How ar ya?" Naira replied to the greeting of the blind lady. It would seem that Naira would not have to search for her after all, she was here, and she seemed pretty safe to Naira. It was a pleasant hello, even though there was a pretty big incident that separated them. "Glad your okai, good ta know. Nice tat we cud finali get a high rank missi... oh forget it, I'm too tired from being kidnapped to pull off my speech facade." Naira continued, apparently changing pitch and tone mid-statement.

"Looks like we get to save our new kage together, that'll be pretty easy in my opinion, dunno why we even need to meet up with the Kusa Shinobi." Naira noted, apparently ranting now that she didn't have to go through the strain of translating words into child-speak. "By the way, can you write down a list of your abilities and jutsu? I want to plan out before we head over to the Grass."

Aero's feet would bring him through the rocky land marks of Tsuchi no Kuni. It wouldn't be long before he'd spot to female figures ahead of him. Upon approaching them he'd keep the same steady jogging pace. One of them was a young girl, though Aero had learned at an early age never to judge a book by it's cover. The other was a rather well equiped female whom seemed a bit older than him. "Hey," he'd say in a casual tone as he'd slow his pace, reaching ten meters or so. Closing in closer with a walk, the monk would close his eyes for a second to attempt and use his mind's eye ability, yet he couldn't pick up their chakra signals like he could so many others. Thinking back to what he was taught about those abilities, it meant they were far stronger than he was. This wasn't totally a bad thing, it just meant his ability was useless to track these two. He'd open his eyes, the crystal clear blue color would be easily viewd by them. Reaching into his pouch, he'd pull out the specified scroll, not opening it. It'd be clear if the scroll matched theirs he'd be in he right place. "I'm here to save the day," a smile still strong on the young monks face. He'd wear his casual outfit, nothing truly out of place. On his back would rest in a diagonal, his bo-staff which would be the only true offensive weapon he'd ever use. Though Aero wasn't here for the fight, he was most likely hand picked to heal any injuries the Tsuchikage might have suffered. Along with be able to heal any of his teammates, including those from Kusagakure.

[Nira]

The third scroll holder...

"Save the day? Bold statement there, I'm sure." Naira replied as she saw the newcomer, a male in his teenage years. Naira grinned a little, he seemed like a weird person, certainly not as weird as Naira herself, but weird nonetheless. He seemed to be armed with a melee weapon, a staff, so he was probably a close range fighter, but Naira was sure that he would have other unique abilities as well since he was one of the three picked for saving the future kage.

"May I request from you the same thing I requested my friend here? For you to write down all abilities and unique jutsu? I would like to build a plan of action with it." Naira said, still grinning at the boy with her arms folded over her chest in a proud position.

[The Heron]

I was about to reply when our final teammate arrived; I'd noticed him far before he entered into actual visual range, creating an image of him in my mind all the while. I could tell he was young by the sound of his voice, but other than that, he was indistinguishable from any other shinobi.

"That would be quite a lot of writing, Naira-chan," I said with a soft smile. "Perhaps it would be better for me to tell you?" I spoke at length about my abilities - there were no secrets to be had amongst comrades.

"I believe introductions are in order? I know Naira-chan, but I do not know you." I didn't turn my head to look at him, but the power of my attention was palpable. "I am Otori Shizuka, of the Shitakuma clan."

[Aero]

'Dang' he'd think inside his head as he listened to the long list of the Chuunin's technique. He truly was right about the power levels being on the womens' side today. Though the younger girl would also ask Aero for his own techniques. "It's nice to meet both of you," he'd start with that as his feet would come together. "My name is Aero Kuhn," he'd say as his left hand formed a fist and met softly with his right palm. He'd bow traditionaly as taught within his monk style. Rising up from the bow he'd have that large smile still on his face. "You can just call me Aero," after stating all that information he would begin to think back to what he knew. He'd then begin to give a detail about his teaching in the Monk style along with his medical expertise.

"Mm, okay then Aero, I'm Naira Hwoubieng, yeah, that's it then, onto the mission." Naira stated in a rather lazy manner as she performed some hand signs and formed a block of ice using Kaishin water and ice creation combined with the Hyouton - Hyourou no Jutsu (Ice Prison). The ice block was at the height of about Naira's waist, so with a short hop she was able to take a seat on the block of cold Kaishin ice. She crossed her lets and put on a thinking face, looking mostly towards the ground.

"Analysis... we have a specific high priority target that can easily be identified by physical appearance, the said target will become our kage... Said target was not held for ransom, so it is likely that the kidnappers have no idea the value of our target position-wise... The mission target area is within the grass country, so it isn't the usual Earth country terrain some of us may be used to, but we have Kusa ninja on our side to help us environment-wise... The kidnappers have no idea of the target value, but an open confrontation from a large force of shinobi will likely raise their estimated target value..." Naira said, slowly, pointing out the main information that is obvious, mostly just to stall as she planned.

"Covert is no doubt the best option of entry, but since we do have to openly gather our target quickly on the inside they will be alerted fairly quickly... I'm not a detector type, but you two are, thus a covert entry to the location in question is best accomplished by one or both of you two... I am able to cause massive destruction by myself in a short period of time, so I can draw the biggest distraction, you two will enter when they are first alerted, since at that time they would rush to either guard the prisoner target or meet the threat... You two can't be surprised by any stray guards or passerby enemies since both of you are detectors... The objective is to located a room that is heavily guarded with enemies, the said room containing a disabled person which should logically be our target... Another possibility is just a hidden room of some kind, either having no visible entry or located underground or the like, once again with a disabled target prisoner which we must rescue... Since this target, based on the information given to us, is going to be our next kage, you are looking for a greater than average chakra signature, that's what you are looking for Aero, who will have an awkward physical trait of horns, Shizuka, that will be what you're looking for." Naira continued to ramble, now talking about the entrance method and target locating. Disabled, horns, high chakra, the best way to locate the target from a distances using either or both detection methods.

"That would be the basic idea entrance, so I myself will not be aiding you two on the inside until they stop sending people to confront me. We will have other options with the Kusa nin, but by ourselves this should be one of the fastest possibilities... Counter objective is to locate the boss, it is likely that the boss will be with the prisoner or with the mob crowding towards me, if there are multiple leaders it might be both... If the leader is with the target prisoner, it is ideal that one of you make your presence known to the leader and guards first, to try and get him or her away from the prisoner, the second person should hang back and rescue the prisoner quickly. It is best that you, Aero, cause a distraction, because if the leader does not join in the fray Shizuka can use a sniping based Raiton or Senbon jutsu to quickly get the leader away from the prisoner. Your large area covering Raiton jutsu can also be used to disable all enemies in your way by mass shocking, so you can focus your priority on retreating." Naira explained, now concentrating on how to get the prisoner.

"Now! Aero, I know you are likely highly based on close quarters combat, unfortunately this is a bad enemy type for close range fighting. Our enemies are slave traders, worse, they have the capability of catching shinobi like our to-be kage. This means that they will be experts at subduing enemies when they have a number advantage. You might be able to take them one by one or one on two, but if you aren't have to keep a focus on all enemies around you while in close range their shinobi-capturing skills will likely be of a high threat to you. To counteract a threat like that, when you begin any fights with multiple enemies or three or more, retreat until you are at a dead end or some enclosed space where no one could sneak up on you. That way they are forced to a position of only using up-front combat, and they will be limited in the number of feasible tactics. It would also mean that only a limited amount of them can launch attacks at one time, so you won't be overrun by too many close range attacks to defend against. Shizuka, you are pretty much good to go, you can detect any and all things around you that are of physical substance without having to concentrate as much as Aero, so you can't be sneaked up on with capture-tactics. You also have some long range moves to hit enemies at a distance." Naira noted, apparently now on the fighting styles of the enemy. "Once again, they are slave trades, to beware of any type of capture-based ninjutsu as well, not just close range battle tactics. You must not be captured by any taijutsu or ninjutsu, the moment they have you, it is likely over. If they can capture you, they can do whatever they do to disable you, since it works on our future kage it will likely work on any of us. Common capture ninjutsu to look out for is wind, fast and invisible sneak attacks to vital points, lighting, fast body disabling attacks, and earth, capable of catching your feet and eventually your entire body. They are all basic releases and more likely for some of the weaker enemies to have. Also beware of genjutsu users, which will also be highly likely. If you feel any signs of genjutsu, you must retreat, do not give them the chance to horde around you and capture. If you are caught completely in a genjutsu, it will be a really bad situation for you, if you are able to think and speak in that genjutsu, scream or yell 'meimu' to alert nearby allies so that they could help you, because it is likely that you will fail as the genjutsu captures you."

"That's the main idea, if any of your have any other suggestions or alternate plans, I would be happy to hear it, cause distracting can get boring sometimes, ya'know?" Naira finished, now all done with what she wanted to explain.

[The Heron]

I spoke up first.

"That's quite the analysis, Naira-chan - well done! I have another idea, however. Kusa-nin will be accompanying us on this mission - they can provide a distraction, if we should need one. I don't want us to be separated unless it is absolutely necessary. And," I paused, tapping my nose, "I know Netami-sama's scent; it will be easy to find her, once we locate the slavers."

I looked to the south, in the direction of Kusagakure. "I'll take point," I said, a smile blossoming on my face. "Aero-kun, Naira-chan, try to keep up."

I disappeared with a burst of speed, moving so delicately as to not disturb the dirt beneath my feet. The terrain of Tsuchi no Kuni, for the knowledgable, was easily transversed. The mountain paths were designed to follow the path of least resistance, and structured to endure all but avalanches. The forestry was sparse until we neared the border, where the mountains gave way to the makings of jungle-land, rocks tranforming into low-lying foliage. We went deeper into the woods still, leaving behind the brown and gray mountains for the lush greens of the jungle. The air was thick and humid, a far cry from the thin, dry air of the mountains. The sun was hidden behind the thick tree-top canopy, only thin beams of its light penetrating through the leaves.

"The Kusa-nin are near."

[Aero]

Well, it wouldn't take long for the young monk to realize he was definitely the biggest rookie on the team. Even the young girl had a large amount of obvious experience under her belt, seeing as she just gave out a really vast explination of how this whole ordeal should go down. Then Shizuka spoke out about taking on point and keeping all Iwa nin together, using our Allies to our advantage. Aero would have to agree, if they were to let the Kusa nin rescue the soon to be re-instated Tsuchikage it would make Iwa's nin look weak. Though before he'd really find a good opportunity to speak his own mind, Shizuka would be off. Taking point as a leader of higher rank obviously should. Aero wouldn't be far off as he'd be a speed specialist in his own eyes. Though it was clear that ability and strength was on the other two's side far more.

As they'd travel toward Kusa no Kuni, Aero would begin to break down every possibility in his own mind. Though not possibility of how this whole fight should go down. Every possibility of what's going to happen after this mission is completed. A new Tsuchikage to help bring back the power and strength of Iwagakure. A chance for Aero to be the hero that he always dreamed of, putting his life on the line for a maiden in distress. Not only that, but a chance to prove himself within his medical capabilities, this could be one more step closer to being a medical expert of Iwagakure. The boy was only sixteen, hardly experienced in missions and was now on his way to a foriegn country on an A rank high priority mission to save the Tsuchikage. It's every young gennin's dream come true...

The young monk remained quiet as he followed Shizuka through the foriegn land of Kusa no Kuni...
