Gekkido, Mika and Jiro had met the sword master yang Sze. Jiro was excited but aware of his novicehood in Tensora Heaven. He snuck off to find someone under Yang Sze to teach him one of the many other stances before he stand before Yang Sze. Jiro wasn't the greatest swordfighter but he wanted to be formidible.
He found a student practicing in a side garden. He suddenly exploded into shot hops and dodges with a sword drawn but held lazily at his side. "Shapeless stance.." Jiro said stepping out from the shadows. "I cannot stand before Yang Sze being of a low rank." He begged the swordsman to teach him this stance and its techniques.
Moments later, Jiro sat in front of the fighter paying close attention to the impromptu lesson. "Shapeless is a stance meant mostly to avoid attacks with minimal movements and counters with great speed." He drew his sword once more and held it lazily at his side. "Follow.." Jiro stood and drew his sword from his waist. His discipline made him grasp the blade in usual ridgid kenjutsu stance. "Relax.." The student said. Jiro relaxed taking a deep breath and lowering his blade.
He released his left hand from the katana and held it at his right side. His feet still were aligned in the kenjutsu stance his right forward and the left pointed to his left. He borught his left forward with his right and relaxed balancing himself as iif he were just standing there. The student looked at Jiro completely and commented. "You're still tense you'll get caught off-guard if youur tense here." Jiro hopped on his toes a few times just shaking himself loose.
Jiro tried it again holding the sword loosely at his right side his feet even and shoulder width. As if inviting the attack. He felt all his muscles at the ready because of this reckless stance. This naivety was not his style at all. It showed on Jiro's face. "Don't worry there's much more to this stance."
