A small wind blew outside as the male jogged to the dojang. He would start on a new branch of the Buredono Kenseijin today so he was quite excited. When Minoru entered the dojang, he could see the female sit on the floor in her training clothes.
“Good morning Minoru-kun. I will start teaching you the genkai ryuu style now…your first jutsu will be this stance” said Mai as she looked up at him with a small smile on her face.
“All right sensei. What is the name of this stance?” asked the guy as he sat down next to her. “It’s called indeian no kamae; it is a meditation stance that is barely used in battle since you cannot fight from here. I want you to sit down next to me and stretch both of your legs in front of you. Keep your torso upright” said the young woman before she stood up.
He sat down and stretched both of his legs out on the floor like she had told him to do. “Fold your left leg towards your torso. Your ankle should rest on the floor” said the black-haired female while she looked at his knees with a neutral facial expression.
The Genin nodded as he pulled the left leg towards the torso in a slow manner so he did not stretch anything. “Good, do the same thing with your right leg” said the female with her sepia eyes on his right leg.
“OK sensei” said the male as he repeated the process with the right leg. He now understood while this stance could not be used in battle; it would be hard to stand up when you sat like this.
“Place both of your hands on your kneecaps” said the sword master with her usual semi-neutral voice. Both of his hands were laid on his kneecaps before he looked down at his legs. The black-haired guy then remembered something that she had mentioned earlier.
He stretched his torso a little bit so he sat a little more upright. “Yes…that is the stance that I have looked for Minoru-kun. Just remember to keep your back up straight so you don’t slouch.
Since you’re not fully outgrown, make sure you train your back muscles a little too. Let’s move on to the next jutsu; I think you will find it intriguing” said the female with a small smile on her face.
