The Cross/The Straight
Rank: "D"
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A powerful, straight punch thrown with the rear hand.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Picture Determine which hand is your strong hand. Although you can throw a straight hand punch with either your left or right hand, it will be most effective if you use your strongest hand. Most right-handed fighters have a stronger right hand, while left-handed fighters have stronger left hands. Get into a basic boxing stance. Keep your feet shoulder-width apart with your knees slightly bent. If you are right-handed, your left shoulder should be pointed toward the other fighter and your right shoulder should be back. The opposite is true if you are left-handed. Keep both hands up. They should hover just under the chin, with your forearms in front of your body. This will protect you from the opponent's punches. Begin the straight hand punch from the foot. Push off your back foot and pivot toward your opponent, twisting your foot, leg, torso and shoulders. Concentrate on bringing power up from your leg, hips, trunk and shoulders and channeling it into your fist as you twist your body. If you don't pivot your body, your punch will be much weaker than if you use the correct form. Aim for the other fighter's face. Punch out in a straight line and extend the arm out all the way. At the point of impact, your feet and body should be facing the other fighter. Snap your hand back to your chin as you twist your body back to the beginning position. Remember to keep your left hand up throughout the punch so you have a guard up to protect you from a counterpunch.
Limit: Must learn in a gym that teaches Bokushingu (Boxing), Must know Upright Stance or Semi-Crouch

"Such a boring ass fucking day."
He had to travel all the way from Amegakure to the Capitol just to find a boxing gym for training. This was such a pain in the ass for him. He knew coming here to train that his prey could run free without the worries of him killing them all off. He was pissed off today because of this short traveling distance he had to make. The gym was filled with the smell of men sweating from there training.. no scent of blood at all. He hated this. He wanted to bring out this scent, it would have given him so much more pleasure.
As he came down, the trainer of the gym approached him and had instructed him to shadow box for learning the basics. He already knew how to do the two beginning stances as well as the jab and uppercut. He found a person liking to an uppercut. To be so close to someone and to cause blood from the range. It couldn't get much better than that. Blood was the only thing going through his mind. He had pictured killing the trainer of this gym and making everyone here his prey, but that wouldn't do. Not now. Not until he had mastered this fighting style.
Walking up to a mirror, he looked at his fine tuned body and took a fighting stance. His first move to train was going to be simple, just as the second was. He only needed to learn how to do a straight and a hook. Such simplistic maneuvers for someone with a keen since of battle. First thing he was going to train was the straight. The coach had shown him how to do this, and easily done it would be. He went through the movements in his head. Step forward with his leading foot, which in this case was his left, and twist his right and throw his right fist forward, letting it naturally straighten out.
Simplicity. He followed those actions by the book and made sure he did everything he was supposed to. He stepped forward with his left foot. This was to throw his weight forward and to close a small gap in order to reach his opponent with the punch. Step two, twist his ankle. This added the entire weight of his body into the punch. Let the punch come out naturally. To do this, he would have to twist his shoulder slightly and let it flow out and strike forward. He didn't clench his fist for he wanted it to flow.
These simple steps were easily done. It wasn't as though he had mastered this punch in one try. He was just following the steps to do the punch. It did not mean that the punch was done. The trainer had watched him in the distance with a smile, seeing that he did this the right way for sure. He continued doing this multiple times, grabbing a good feel for it before going to the punching bag. His overconfident smirk stayed on his face. Even though he was learning the basics to boxing, he knew none of these men could beat him in a fight.
Instead of thinking about what he was told, he just relied on his own instincts and did what he had just practiced on the bag. The aim with his first was perfect when striking the bag, and without gloves or hand wraps, it gave his hand a nice stinging feeling that he felt in his wrist. He loved this feeling. Pain was the most enjoyable part of this boring ass training that he was doing. But mastering such a low leveled technique was no feat. It was time for him to move on to the next one, which was the hook.
