Patrolling the Village! {PVT} {Mission}

The day patrol includes moving between any shops to watch for thievery as well as moving about various sections of town to ensure that people are not entering in areas where they should not be. Any civil disputes should be handled fairly, as any reports of things being handled unfairly will make their way to the Kage. Objective: (May be repeated Three times) Ensure safety of village. Patrol as much of the village as possible. Return with status report. Personnel Requirements: 1-2 Shinobi of any rank. May be performed in groups if one chooses so. Reward: 1,562 Ryo (1,250 for a Non-nin) Okuda had been assigned the mission from the tower; it was a boring patrol mission. Well, boring to him to some others it’d be a massive undertaking, he was powerhouse of Taijutsu, at least compared to the average Genin, he felt he should be doing higher ranked missions than D and C ranks, but because he was a Genin he was stuck with them. On his left hip were two weapons a Katana and its slightly shorter sibling the Wakizashi, his two swords that he had at least one of at all times. Walking through the village; Okuda saw normal sights, vendors selling various items – such as food and drinks and cheap baubles – from the small carts or very small buildings as well as more successful shops from inside the comforts of their buildings. Today was looking to be a rainy day in the village, then the humidity was rather muggy and his clothes were slightly sticking to him from that reason. His training with his sensei covered being able to detect basic weather patterns. All signs, even the taste of the air around him, pointed to it being rainy or otherwise just stormy. This would be rather good weather for thieves and the like to come out, Okuda both wished that they would and would not appear, as he would prefer to just be done with the mission and get his payment, but he also wanted them to appear so he could say that he did his job well and protected the villagers and shopkeepers of Kumogakure no Sato from criminals. Then, out of nowhere a light drizzle started and people began to plot their next location in case of a storm, Okuda just walked down the middle of the road, moving out of the way of any incoming foot traffic, trying to keep his eyes, ears and other various senses trained for any kinds of criminal activity. A sudden sound would break the silence. Two people dressed in black from top to toe would run out of a bookstore with their hands full. "STOP THE THIEVES!" yelled a clerk who had just came out of the shop.
Okuda would probably be 40 feet away from the duo, but they appeared to be in decent physical shape. He better stop them without damaging the books...they were in a limited edition that were laid out for sale today.

He would then see two thieves running away from a store they were about forty feet – and gaining distance – from him when he’d first noticed them. It looked like they were carrying books but he wasn’t sure of the number as they turned to face away from him and they’d been carrying them in front of their chests. Scoping out the area, Okuda quickly drew his sword and began to chase them down on foot. Once he was about twenty meters from the two he stopped dead, quickly raising his katana high into the air and dropped the arm downwards with such a force that he shot a large wave of rocks towards the two, which would travel for 35 meters unless impeded by a solid object. Luckily there were no buildings or other people around that would get hit in the attack. The rocks slammed into their targets, the two would then front flip on to their backs, and stop passed out from the pain. They would live but would be in a lot of pain for a while, he then ran over, sheathing his blade and took the books – which were conveniently in a set of bags, see through though. He then grabbed the bags and ran them back to the store owner. “Here are your books back sir, sorry for those two criminal scumbags.” Okuda then gave a light bow and continued on to his patrol of the surrounding area, hoping that nothing else or worse would go wrong today, as he honestly found this all to just be a giant waste of his time and skill. Special: --- Drawback: --- Description: User relies on raising his sword high into the air. User slams sword onto the ground. The force of the attack becomes so great it launches a mass amount of debris to those in front. The strength of the technique is so fierce that when the sword lands on the floor, the debris is shot up into the air of close to 3 meters. The distance of the technique however depends on the user's class level. Both of the bandits snickered when the young man followed them. He was tiny - what could he do? They received the answer a minute later when the redhead performed the doryusen.
They were hit in the head by the rocks before they landed on their backs. Both of them had been knocked unconscious and had received a minor concussion.

"Here are your books back sir, sorry for those two criminal scumbags" said the male. "Uhm...thank you" said the young man as he returned the bow the shinobi had given him.
The drizzle would grow a bit heavier; it was now raining. But the street was quiet otherwise apart from some ANBU's who were taking the thieves to the hospital. It was clear that the redhead had done a decent job.

Not seeing anything else, and feeling satisfied with what he had done, Okuda decided that the mission – as the scroll dictated – was finished enough to satisfy his higher ups and returned to the tower for compensation and official status on missions end.
